The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, (ASUP) chapter of the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) has defied the ongoing nationwide strike declared by the National leadership of the union. A final year student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, FUNAAB, identified as Olaniyi Ashimi, has reportedly died due to lack of oxygen and ambulance at FMC Abeokuta, Ogun State.
