www.stayhealthy.blog.co.uk is a blog about healthcare, beauty, lifestyle, style & fashion, news, foods & diets, relationship tips and stories etc. Its being a great wonder for me why Nigerians don't give themselves so much intetests about their health status. A good number of Nigerians shut their eyes and minds when the matter of staying and living healthy arises.

Notwithstanding, I have decided to make it a job to blog about these things so as to give enough people the chance to really know the sweetness of living a healthy life. Being healthy is not limited to the fact that you dont fall sick, you dont go to a hospital etc, no! Its more than that. If you are well informed about things around you then you are also healthy and lots more.

So, I want to use this opportunity to invite beauticians, freelance writers, nutritionists, fashionistas, doctors and intending doctors, healthcare givers, beauty personnels and others that have their line of duties in those areas to come and partner with me to make things happen in this Country. Thanks

Health / Ladies! How To Make Your Bútt Bigger by StayHealthyBlog(m): 11:22am On Jan 08, 2014
Do you long for a rear end that’s large
and shapely, imitating celebrities like
Toolz, Beyonce Knowles, Nicki
Minaj and Kim Kardashian? Here’s what
you can do to build a búxom bóóttom.

Quick Fixes to Make Your b*tt Look
Bigger

Cinch up your waist. You can try
something like the “bóoty wow” it lifts
instantly without major padding.
Emphasizing a small waist will make your
bottóóm look bigger by proportion.
Whether your tummy is tiny or not, try
these tips to trick the eye:

1. Wear a belt over your waist.
Find a medium to large width
belt, and tie it around the tiniest
part of your waist, over whatever
shirt your’e wearing. (This looks
best over button-down shirts,
sweaters, or loose blouses.) For
extra emphasis, try using a
dark-colored belt over a light
shirt.

•Try a girdle. If you have a little
more girth than you’d like
around your middle, try a girdle.
It should push the excess from
your tummy down around your
hips and b*tt. Girdles can be
found at most department or
lingerie stores.

•Don’t wear horizontal stripes or
patterns around your waist.
Busy fabrics or colors will
emphasize your tummy and
make it look bigger. Instead,
stick to dark, solid colors on
top. It will make your a*s look
huge and séxy!

Health / Skin Care: Tips For Healthy Skin by StayHealthyBlog(m): 11:15am On Jan 08, 2014
Treat your skin gently

Daily cleansing and shaving can take a toll
on your skin. To keep it gentle:

•Limit bath time. Hot water and long
showers or baths remove oils from your
skin. Limit your bath or shower time, and
use warm — rather than hot — water.

•Avoid strong soaps. Strong soaps and
detergents can strip oil from your skin.
Instead, choose mild cleansers.

•Shave carefully. To protect and lubricate
your skin, apply shaving cream, lotion or
gel before shaving. For the closest shave,
use a clean, sharp razor. Shave in the
direction the hair grows, not against it.

•Pat dry. After washing or bathing, gently
pat or blot your skin dry with a towel so
that some moisture remains on your skin.

•Moisturize dry skin. If your skin is dry,
use a moisturizer that fits your skin type.
For daily use, consider a moisturizer that
contains SPF.

Health / SEXERCISE- Research Shows What One Hour Romance Does by StayHealthyBlog(m): 11:06am On Jan 08, 2014
If you want to lose weight after the excesses
of the Christmas period, you may be better off
heading for the bedroom rather than the gym.
Making love really does count as significant
exercise, scientists say.

They have found that an hour of romance
between the sheets burns almost as many
calories as a 30-minute jog and so should be
taken into account when drawing up a fitness
plan.

Men expend 120 calories during half an hour
of sex and women use up 90, say researchers
from the University of Quebec in Canada.
That is just under half the amount they would
burn in a 30-minute jog. For brief periods
during sex, some men used more energy than
they did while on the treadmill.

The study, Energy Expenditure During Sexual
Activity In Young Healthy Couples, found that,
on average, men burned 4.2 calories a minute
during sex compared to 9.2 on the treadmill.
Women burned 3.1 calories a minute during
sex and 7.1 jogging.

The scientists recruited 20 heterosexual
couples, aged 18 to 35, to have sex once a
week for a month and to jog on a treadmill for
30 minutes.

Celebrities / Maheeda: “my Daughter Is Not Even Aware These Unclad Pictures Exist” by StayHealthyBlog(m): 9:37am On Jan 08, 2014
When I first came across this article, the
first thing I thought is what would
Maheeda’s daughter tell her friends and
teachers when they ask what her mum
does for a living.

Considering how widely Maheeda’s
raunchiness has been publicized on social
media, Pop singer Caroline Sam better
known as Maheeda says her daughter is
yet to see her ‘in that way’.
In a recent interview with The Punch,
Maheeda insists that her daughter who is
17 years is not allowed access on social
media, hence hasn’t seen any of her
unclad photos

‘My daughter is not even aware these
unclad pictures exist even though she has
seen pictures of me in bikini. She is not
even allowed access to the social media’,
she disclosed.
Maheeda however says when her daughter
turns 18, ‘she can decide what she
wants’.

‘I am 31 and I had my daughter when I
was 17. I do not think this is going to
affect her in any way. If my mother did
something like this; there is no way it
would have affected me’, she explained.
‘Even if she gets to view them eventually,
it’s not going to mean anything to her
because she has the European mentality’.
‘I am married and my husband is Dutch.
What I am doing is not alien to him or his
family and he understands. He just
laughs whenever he comes across any of
my pictures. It’s in Africa that we attach
much importance to such things and
consider it sacrilegious’.

I say who is fooling who?

Fashion / How To Wear Vibrant Eyeshadows by StayHealthyBlog(m): 10:59pm On Jan 07, 2014
Ladies Yes, those jewel-toned eyeshadows are
in, but
how to wear them? Here are some basic tips
to consider:
Don't look down on them.

•Blending is key. The richest colors should
stay
closest to the lashline, fading as it reaches
your eye's crease, according to Barneys New
York makeup artist Carlos Geraci in the April
2006 'O' magazine.

•Pick colors that flatter your eyes & skin color.
Blue shadows make blue eyes pop, while lilac
& purples are gorgeous on brown eyes &
black-skinned & olive-skinned women. If you
have pink skin (as opposed to a yellow base),
avoid pinky-purples.

•Use 2 shadows, a light & a dark Pick a soft
color for the entire eye area up to the
browbone & then use the darker color only up
to your eye's crease.

•Keep the rest of your makeup light
(important)
Nude lips with gloss suits these strong eyes
perfectly.
Avoid colors on lips, they'll not only compete
with your strong eyes, but the colors could
clash.
