What is the intent of this you just said? To downplay the report or what? Or that everything is fine? |

crestedaguiyi: Who employs a 71 year old in Nigeria, the suffering and hard times over the years would have broken the person at that age Except you're coming from that angle but even at that, with the current hardship in Nigeria, it is best to assume every age still work in Nigeria. The missing piece in Nigeria is we don't have data, we don't keep any. So most of our knowledge is heresay or just basic assumption based on past experience which may or may not be relevant to current realities |

TOPMAN4LIFE: If you think God doesn't bless people for giving tithes and offerings in the church, your mind and thought need to be filled with the word of God. The achievement of the church today that making people like you to be bitter came from the contributions of people bless by God. People that have been promoted beyond their certificate and what they envisaged. Talk for your own and examine your life if God didn't bless you financially and economically when you were going to church. The aim of Christian is not to own the whole world, because if we do many will put their hope and faith in money. God bless and meets the needs of his children as they continue to rely on him for everything till they leave this world
Read what Proverbs 30:7-9 says [7] Two things I request of You (Deprive me not before I die): [8] Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches— Feed me with the food allotted to me; [9] Lest I be full and deny You, And say, “Who is the Lord?” Or lest I be poor and steal, And profane the name of my God.
Read what God says in the Bible about blessings people when they give. Malachi 3:10-11 NKJV [10] Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. [11] “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts;
Satan and other gods also give money to their own. But Bible says in Proverbs 10:22 that "it's only the blessings of God that makes rich without adding any sorrow with it". Any born again Christian that wants to enjoy blessings of God without sorrow and devourer must give. Anyone that believes and realises it's God that has been helping him or her to make money will give money to the work of God in the church without any persuasion. It's proud people like you that always think you don't need God in your efforts. Bible says in Psalms 14:1 that the fools says in his heart there is no God you're beating around the bush and pushing statement and assumption I never made. from what I can see you seem to be part of the people preaching the falsehood. But the bible is clear 2 Thessalonians 3:10 “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” Proverbs 14:23 “All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” Proverbs 12:11 “Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense.” Those verse above are fundamental truth and has nothing to do with you as a Christian. The church is not a marketplace, it is the house of God. it's not a business venture, it's not a place to come and find money, it is for true believer who want to live a meaningful live through christ. if you want money, you can go and work, whatever religion you're in, you will make money, simple, making money is never a criteria of Gods works, even a native doctor if they put themselves together can make money. Now all shade and manner of business men in suite and ties are now turning church to a miracle center, a center for where faith without works is the manner of the day. You know what I close on this matter, don't expect a reply for me on this topic again, thanks. |

franchasng: Donald Trump is overdoing the whole thing. I was his fan before but after a critical review of his policies via over 100 executive orders, I realized that Trump may not really be in a sound mind.
Check his encounter with German Chancellor at the Whitehouse, the one with South Africa's President, Zelensky, Uganda, etc, take your time and review even his meeting with Putin too.
Americans made a great mistake electing Trump a second time, he has been a disaster that you guys may not know for now.
He canceled MediAid, sacked a lot of federal workers, doing mass arrests at local farms where undocumented migrants who work their asses off for peanut pay just because of their immigration status. All these things will have serious impact on American economy.
Elon Musk is a very smart man, he must have seen too many flaws in Trump that made him backtracked from supporting Trump.
Trump is doing America more harm than good.
He is almost ruling America via executive orders It is the USA that should bother about that. This is what he promised. If he does not do it. You will still come at him. His execution still remain legal so far so good. Some may look unnecessary but then he will do what he will do |

TOPMAN4LIFE: Since you don't believe in God and what He can do, you will never experienced it. People like you wish churches should be poor so you will come again to mock the church. We that pay our tithes and offerings are not complaining people like you that use your money for drinking beer, taking hard drugs and carrying olosho, I want to advise you to leave how church spent their money. It's people that contribute the money that should bother themselves with church properties and church finances. I was born and raised in the church. The church is not a money house. It is for the brethren to gather and worship, and improve their faith through encouraging one another 1 Corinthans 14:23. If you think there is money there or your pastor is telling you so. They are lying to you. The church even need money from the brethren to sustain fundamental part of its operation and it’s not a hidden knowledge. but most pastor promising you wealth cos you gave aren’t honest, giving in the book of Romans is an attitude of a Christian , it’s an act of love, anyone who is a Christian would cheerfully give except they don’t know God. Anyone cajoling you is trying to play you The church are the people, anyone can be rich and make money and it has nothing but do with your spiritual life per se. Muslim, Christain and any pagan. China are 65% atheist, please don’t believe me, research it, with their population, their GDP is very high. It’s simple math, money making is not supernatural, most pastors are wolfs in sheep clothing with all shade of greed. But revelation told us they would be here in the last days I rest my case |

TOPMAN4LIFE: See the way you reason, Do you expect all redeemed members to be using only one private jet that can't maybe hold more than 20 people at time. Pastor Adeboye needs the jet to promptly visit parishes of redeemed church worldwide as the redeemed church is located in more than 190 countries. Such privileges is reserved for the leaders and people working closely with him. That's how it works every where, Nigeria presidential jets are solely meant for the president and those working with him and not for all the citizens of Nigeria. Bank and head of companies that have private jet also don't use the private jet to carry all their staffs but only the top management Another thing you don't know is that many prayers have good jobs before God calls them to resign and do his work. For example, pastor Adeboye got PhD before he reached 30 years of age, he was already lecturing in prestigious university of Lagos before he resigned to take over the church after the demised of the church founder. He resigned his job to become a pastor in 1970s when most pastors were living in abject poverty. God blessed pastor for the sacrifice of obedience. People like you don't know that to criticize, If you think it's easy to gather people together and to become a pastor, go and start one You’re talking of church yet you compare it with a typical business ?? And you don’t see something off about that? Well I never used pastor Adeboye I don’t know what you’re about defending him in particular. He has a phD and resigned and went to start church is his agreement with God and has nothing to do with the topic. Paul left everything he was doing and followed Christ. He wasn’t luxurious in anyway. Luxury or no luxury isn’t even the consensus here. The original topic was curious about why pastors are very rich yet poor congregation. The truth here is church cannot make people prosperous, can we all gather and agree?, even if that is spiritually possible that wasn’t what pastors and church is supposed to be about. It was suppose to be a by-product of hardwork, decisions and healthy living. Can we Atleast agree that church is for the gathering of the brethren and the pastors are those as our leaders? Pastors aren’t our government, doctors, economists nor even accountant. Can we agree? Or are you also part of those thinking the pastors can bless you in an economic with low GDP? And even if he does but not your neighbors? So you’re the only bless one in a lawless neighborhood? Are you part of those thinking that a town with less than enough jobs and many jobless youth. That you will be miraculously within those few? While those who don’t know the same God go hungry? Are you part of those who want to be prosperous and silently enjoy your wealth in a system sitting on gun powder of kidnapping and corruption? Are you? |

TOPMAN4LIFE: You people are just deceiving the gullible, Many of the assets claimed to be owned by the pastor are owned by the church. For example, pastor adeboye doesn't even own anything, the only one private he uses belongs to the church and the next general overseer will continue to use it. Hmmm 🤔. So why are the property used by only a selected few? That argument does not hold. My verdict is men of God should imitate daily Christain living. Some live exceedingly luxurious lifestyle. If indeed they truely believe in “rewards is in heaven”, most won’t be leaving this greedily. I rest my case |

The people you are asking to hold them accountable will collect indomie and Omo during election and vote for them again.
So how do we hold them accountable beyond knowing them? You said “we”. If the same people collecting indomie are among the “we” then the ones who aren’t collecting are the ones left to decide what to do. If they don’t then nothing can be done. Like I said it’s not a one man job, if the affected don’t have the will power then nothing can be done. If the affected wants to do something then I already gave a blueprint of the starting point |

Iamzik: Thanks for your feedback but you still did not answer the question.
How do you propose that ordinary citizens can "hold" their local government chairman and state governors accountable? I need practical actionable steps There is no where I ever said it’s a one man. Quote me where I did say that. By simply understanding who is responsible for what. How many people in their area even know what their local government is responsible for? How many people even know the office of their local government? Oh but we all know our worship centers….hmmm In simply words ***the people*** has to take its government serious. The people is not same as one man |
