kaffy4tope:Is the value of the house or any house in the city 3.5m? |

Thanks OP for reminding us of GEJ's achievement. For you to go through this rigor to remind us of what GEJ has done, it is either what he said he has done are lies and/or were not actually necessary to alleviate the suffering of the governed. I am from Erusu Akoko in Akoko North West Local Govt of Ondo State. While I do not have the record of approved project in Erusu as it relates to the Erusu-Arigidi dam, I can tell you without mincing words there exists no project as mentioned on ground. Have you ever thought it in your mind that a good product (if GEJ can be likened to one), does not need these fictitious paper-based achievements to sell its course? I am not a member of APC, and will never be one but trust me, I am not only voting against jonathan, I am campaigning against him. To tell you how desperate I am to return jonathan to the league of ex-presidents, I will contribute financially to the course of Buhari's campaign. Whatever resources you and/or someone close to you are getting for posting these pseudo-achievements should be utilized judiciously, as such inflow from GEJ as president has less than 8 weeks to run-out. As my Igbo brothers will say it "The head of a goat can NEVER go missing in a pot" (except there was no head of goat in the first place) |

After doing a Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) of the increase, from 9.9k (i pay before my subscription expires) to 11.65k within a month, i have decided as follows; - Increase the subscription on my internet from 6k/month to 8k/month - this will afford me extra 8gb of data, hence my wife will have more data to download movies she would have seen on DSTV - Stay tuned to 88.9 (brilla) for sports commentary, switch to 99.3 (Nigerian Info) intermittently for some jibes, this will allow me follow my darling team (arsenal) - Invest my weekend in better endeavor I am sure DSTV saw it as marginal (increase of N650 on 11k), I will rather abandon my decoder than pay any extra for the rip-off. They have the monopoly in a city like Lagos, no doubt. They need to realize their service is not that essential to my living/survival to be paying 12k/month. I have decided to to derive same satisfaction i derive from DSTV, from alternatives (Radio and Internet). RIP DSTV |
I hope this signature makes a change. Signed. |

You guys can condemn SLOT from now till eternity. I will recommend them 5X if asked once about where to get original phones in Nigeria. For those complaining about their phones being expensive, I will respond by saying there is always a premium for peace of mind. I got my Nokia N8 from there in 2010 and i got it damaged (liquid-damaged for that matter) 2 months after. I activated the warranty i got from slot, my phone panel was changed (like changing the entire phone, those who know N8 will understand what I am saying), retaining only the screen. You guys should try and settle your beef with SLOT by another means. If they are as bas as you are making it sound they won't be opening more outlets at every opportunity. Has there been a day you were in SLOT without the place being filled up? That is called brand |
I have never used any phone brand other than Nokia. I waited for so long to have this phone and was so happy when i got the phone mid November. The pictures are innocently clear, the memory will always want you to save more but you may need to have a rethink before buying this phone. After a month of purchase, December 18 to be precise my girlfriend mistakenly spilled wine on the phone (without my knowledge). So when i woke up the next day being a sunday, my phone was not coming up. The next thing i would have done if it were to be any other phone is to probably remove the battery and restart, but being N8, you can't do anything (as u all know the phone is screwed up, nothing can be removed except your sim or memory card). I tried doing a forece-reset (pressing Camera+menu+volume down keys all together) nothing happened. On monday 20th Dec, i was at Nokia Care Shop and was received like a king. They asked me to check back after the festive period, and true to their words got a call first week of january to come collect my phone, Lo and behold i was told my phone is damaged beyond economic repairs. I succeded in escalating the problem to Nokia - middle east, because the oversee africa but all i got was a sorry, nothing can be done. The moral of my story is that N8 is not just another Express Music or N97 (If water touch am, u r on your own). The phone is made such that the sreen can't be seperated from the board (everythin is together). As i am writing this piece, i have a DEAD N8, looking right at me with nothing to be done to revive it. For those who are still enjoying their phones, i swear u can only be limited by yourself. |
I bought a new Nokia phone from Slot V/I in November, and a month after Dec 18th to be precise, i put the phone in offline to allow me sleep without disturbance. I woke up the next morning and my phone refuse to come up. All effort to power the phone on gave no positive result. Being a phone still under warranty, i took it to Nokia Care in V/I and was asked to drop the phone. I got a call from them today and when i got there, i was told my phone was liquid damaged, and CANNOT be repaired. I was stunned because i could not remember liquid pouring on the phone. I wondered why a phone that is liquid damaged could nt be repaired again. I checked online nw and i discovered if a phone immeresed in liquid should stand any chance of working again, then there should be no attempt to power the phone on or charge it, so that it won't short circuit. Does it mean my phone has bn short circuited? Does it mean a phone of 80k, barely used for a month will not come bact to life again? Can someone please help proffer solution? I can't believe the phone would never work again. |
i don't think the phone is in the country |
knotty:I DON'T THINK THE PHONE IS NOT IN THE COUNTRY. |
It is about 38k in major Nokia dealer's shop (with a yr warranty). It is a good phone |
Good day house. Please i don't know if anyone has info on the new Nokia C2-00? i need to know if it is already in the country or where i can get it. Major Nokia distributors seem not to have the phone yet |
I don't really know what Nokia/Nigeria's problem is, they want people to preorder with 80k. I spoke with them in Slot yesterday and was told they will deliver in 2 week's time if one preorders now. My question now are; Will this phone not be available over the counter (off the shelf), or if it becomes available, will the price be above the preordered price of 80k? I do not see myself tying my cash (80K) down for 2 wks. I will explore other means before the end of the week and if none comes up, I will need to pay to them Nokia/Slot. I am already obsessed with this machine, i can't wait to have it. |

Don't allow anyone to deceive you that FBN is not stressful, the stress is still there. I heard somethin like that before joining the bank. it all boils down on your supervisor and your job function. While some other units in my Dept close around six, i still close liek seven- eight daily and at work like 3 saturdays a month. SBO in FBN earns 4.2m. It all depends on where you are coming from, and what your definition of job satisfaction is. All thesame, it is still a place to make a career. Wishing you the best. |
