Gratitude is a very important virtue of life. The more you are grateful, the more you receive that which you are grateful for. I'm grateful for my sister who just gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. I'm grateful for accomplished goals and more goal setting. I'm grateful for going a step further with my career. What are you grateful for?

I'm grateful for the gift of life, for my family and friends, for those who have impacted me positively and for the future i see.

Someone once said, "The door to opportunity is always labeled either PUSH OR PULL".

So, don't just stand by and expect the door of opportunity to open for you. That DOOR is waiting for a PUSH or a PULL from you.

Have a wonderful day

There is a wise saying that when the PURPOSE of a thing is NOT defined, ABUSE is INEVITABLE.

Define your purpose in life and stay focused. Often times, we are carried away or influenced by what we see and hear, but we must stay focused and be optimistic. Our thought matters alot because psychology has taught me that 'As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he'.

Happy sunday friends.

Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.
Jim Rohn

Knowledge comes, but wisdom lingers.
Alfred Lord Tennyson

It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.
Henry David Thoreau

If you're trying to achieve, there will be roadblocks. I've had them; everybody has had them. But obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.
Michael Jordan

When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.

Romance / Re: Woman Dies Fighting Over Boyfriend - Must Read Story by Stephanie75(f): 11:14am On Aug 12, 2015
Why fight over a man whom you aren't married to? That's stupidity of the highest order.

If a man loves and respect you, he wouldn't cheat on you in the first place.

Thanks for these great words. Mere wishing away problems isn't enough to solve them. We must have the courage to confront and sincerely seek their solutions. That's the ONLY way we could get them out of our way.

I'm happy whenever people accept that life's actually difficult. Faith doesn't negate that very fact. Life's pretty challenging and only the disciplined and determined person can surmount them. Problems keep coming as the days go by. We're not immune from the challenges of life, but we can decided to fave them and get them solved.

Procrastination has caused more failures than even lack of talent or certificates. I've suffered a whole lot setbacks because I lacked the promptitude to address very pressing issues. Since our life is time rated, to waste that time in procrastination translates to wasting our life. And failure isn't one cataclysmic event; it's a summation of the poor choices and decisions we've taken down the years prior.

Discipline is the path of the road less traveled. Many people don't like to take that road. It's painful. It's demanding. It's calls for delayed gratification. It calls for patience. And majority of people lack these fundamental traits in their lives. May God help us.

Thanks for sharing, and do have a fantastic day. Shalom!
I'm glad to have come across someone like you and others on this platform. You're indeed a blessing to this generation sir. I look forward to meeting intellectuals like you.

Do have a wonderful day sir.

Life is a series of problems and discipline is the tool required for solving these life's problems.

Life is difficult and so, some of us when faced with challenges attempt to shy away from them. We procastinate, hoping these challenges will just go away; without knowing that it is through the pain of confronting and resolving problems that we learn.

"Those things that hurt, instruct" says Benjamin Franklin.

Literature / Re: The Reading Culture Has Gone From Bad To Worse by Stephanie75(f): 10:54am On Aug 10, 2015
Porthable:
Personally I'm of the opinion that you are wrong. Saying our generation doesn't read anymore is just a statement made out of baseless facts. That we have decided to do things differently doesn't mean we are doing nothing. Before novels it was pure verbal communication hence they told stories. Now because you don't see me hold paper novels doesn't mean I don't have an 11 gig of novels on my phone. I don't buy news papers but once click ngfeeds.com and nairaland I know I'm gonna get the news.
I concur with you because I read a lot of books(literatures and textbooks) and I download most of them from the internet. I'm a student and I buy texbooks sold by my lecturers because it is a must but I still download textbooks from the internet because it is cheaper for me. I would be stupid to use my monthly subscription for chatting alone.
