I have already delivered the project, I just asked client to hold the money until i get a payment route. This client has paid over $2000 to me through freelancer. but I have done the maths and I have seen that I am losing and he is also losing. Freelancer charges 10% from me and charges 5% from employer. Client will not request for refund. If you want ask me for proof. That means I can bypass the $30 upwork charges for withdrawal to Dom and then sell at black market rate. I beginning to think of going with this option. Please anyone with experience using skrill can share so we know the challenges.

I tried accessing the site today, it seems Nigerian IPs are barred, or maybe my AntiVirus is blocking something. I just want to let it stay fora week, before I will ask client to send funds.

The 10 Euro cap means if you are sending 5000 euros you will be charged a flat fee of 10euro and not 1% of 5000. i just tried navigating the site this evening, it seems it having some issues with Nigerian IPs, I used a proxy. it opened, I tried without a proxy, it tells me access denied. Someone should please try and let us know if its the same thing.

below is a pic of my account and the limit that skrill has capped for Nigerians. It also good to know that skrill charges just 1% to receive money. I dont know the amount they charge for sending money. I am yet to test that with a client. this seems to be a great option, since paypal has deliberately refused to put Nigeria on their list. I also notice that you can withdrew your skrill money into your DOM account.

I just discovered that you can also send the money directly to your bank account, but the downside to this is that it will be converted at the CBN official rate, so a DOM account or selling it directly to a buyer who needs skrill funds is the way round to sell it at black market price.

am current testing their service with a client who asked if I have skrill so he can pay in directly. to avoid the charges on freelance sites.

Inverters and solar panels are not rated in volts but in watts or volts and amperes. My advice would be to buy your stuff from amazon PR Walmart because most of the solar technology in Nigeria have shittty life cycles. a normal sized mono crystalline board can produce 125W, depending on your usage you can buy 5_10 boards, it is advisable to do a parralel array grid tie system which means each board would have its own mini inverter feeding into a charge controller. Basically you would need
1. Solar panels with Individual mini inverters
2. Charge controller
3. Deep cycle Lithium Batteries.
4. Sine wave inverter only suitable inverter
5. Solar placement system...- this depends on where you live
..... Can you post all the things you intend powering so I can give a rough cost estimate
