This is funny honestly. These politicians are crazy AF. During my junior year in high school my mom hired this other guy who was doing his senior year to walk together with me to school every morning, constantly come to check on me during break time, and to walk me back home after school.

My mom didn't even tell me about the guy until one morning I finished my breakfast and she told that there was someone waiting for me outside.

It was so embarrassing it felt like I had a bodyguard and this guy was not helping matters... During break time he'd come with his friends to the junior class to check on me... My friends would tease me and say that I've got a bodyguard.

Even when he had to stay behind after school to study, he'd make sure to walk me home with his friends and return back to school after making sure that I got home safely.

My home was not even that far from school.

If he couldn't make it to school, he'd ask his friends to fetch me and walk me home after school.

I tried talking to Mom about it and told her that I didn't need the guy keeping an eye on me, but she couldn't take a no for an answer.

Construction of dual roads take several months to a year! It's different from completing a road within 100 days after 90% of it was completed by Oyetola.

When Oyetola came in, everything was in a mess. Several workers and pensioners who were unpaid by Aregbesola. One of the reasons why Oyetola found it difficult to be elected in his first term was because Aregbesola already spoilt ground for him.

That was what Oyetola faced first, that is, paying the accrued salaries and pensioners, apart from working on Osun's economy growth which was another area where Oyetola was very excellent in. Towards the last year of his first term, Oyetola started facing infrastructural projects, with some of them almost completed, such as the road commissioned by Adeleke.

Oyetola's major mistake was trying not to offend Aregbesola who eventually worked against him. As a matter of fact, Oyetola should have mentioned/broadcast everything he's been doing such as, payment of accrued salaries and pension, economy growth etc but he was trying not to showcase Aregbesola's mistakes. The same Aregbesola whom he was trying to protect betrayed him in the end. During the debate for example, Oyetola didn't say much.
