American Atheist Group reportedly launched a campaign telling Christians not to go to Church on Christmas day.

The group installed billboards in several cities including Colorado Springs encouraging people to skip church on Christmas.

“U going to church this Xmas?” She responds, “Lol. No way. I don’t believe that stuff anymore.” The friend replies, “What will your parents say?” She texts back, saying, “They’ll get over it. :-P,” reads one conversation on one of their billboard design.

Another design sited the famous campaign slogan of US President-Elect Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” which was paraphrased as: “Make Christmas Great Again, Skip Church!”

The group in a press release said that it aims to tackle the “stigma” non-believers face in America.

“It is important for people to know religion has nothing to do with being a good person, and that being open and honest about what you believe – and don’t believe – is the best gift you can give this holiday season,” said president David Silverman.

“More and more Americans are leaving religion, but we still have work to do when it comes to fighting the stigma many atheists face,” David added.
