ItsQuinn: But is it understandable to leave your husband when he's using your hard earn money for oloshos? If your hubby cheats on you, divorce him, it's allowed. But when you wait for him to go broke before doing that, it simply means you were just with him for the money. |

montezz: I suggest that you read their posts again. This time slowly until you get the points they are trying to make. No, read my post again. This time slowly. They're trying to justify leaving a man when he's broke. If a man maltreats you, why wait till he's broke before leaving him? Waiting till he's broke qualifies you as a gold digger. Cos the only reason why you endured was because of his money. |

jahrule: As a Yoruba guy, one reason why i like dating Igbo ladies is that. Yoruba ladies have this attitude of proving too difficult to get which somebody like me don`t like. I f igbo lady likes you, she won`t hide it, as soon as you approach her, things start working. This doesn`t make them to be cheap either.
I was dating one smart Igbo lady, this relationship was a promising one until this stupid, good for nothing Kanu started his hatred campaign recently, and her best friend is one strong Village-Igbo girl who always look at me with bad eye, normally wants her to participate in their Igbo things. That`s how our relationship turn sour because of one stupid guy poisoning minds of gullible followers, ever since then i don`t normally see my relationship with any Igbo girl as promising because i know at the end, it`s either her family oppose it or her close friends start discouraging her. To be honest.
Igbos are the most tribalists people in Nigeria, and i have also observe that on Nairaland, Yoruba are most of the tim on the defensive side who can`t help but get into mud fight with the Igbos on this forum. Even with this, i won`t still call all Igbos are bad people because i have very good number of Igbos as friends i can trust even than my fellow Yorubas. We hav good people everywhere just like bad people abound among all tribe but to say the truth, this Ndamdi Kanu`s campaign has planted the seeds that would eventually cause flows of blood in this country very soon, the painful part of it is that most of these things are lies to achieve his own purpose. Igbo are the most tribalistic? If I hear! Yoruba can't even play songs that is not from one of their own, unless another yoruba artist is featured in the song. Their greetings and respect is reserved for their own people unless you're rich or they need something from you. So, write your epistle and feed it to the birds. |

Poweredbrew: Everyone is Yoruba according to a flat head, why will i argue with someone with a compressed head, its like talking to a wall. When you know the kind of people you're doing things with, it's easy to pick up on their behavioural pattern. With the insults you're throwing around like a child in kindergarten, I don't need a prophet to tell me you're a yoruba. The same way your people respect people is the same way they insult others. Osu imi people. (yinmu people) |
NYSC › Re: A Year Experience With My Fellow Yoruba And Igbo Corpers. by steppin: 2:32pm On Oct 07, 2016 |
Shym3xx: Err, I'm going to keep 100% real based on my own experience.
I don't think Yoruba ladies are too difficult to get. They're just much more pretentious and uncouth (a lot of Igbo chics are also uncouth) but it's easier to vibe with an Igbo chic than a Yoruba one. And I'd say cos Yoruba chics tend to like fvcking than ya average chic, they always tend to be much more promiscuous on the normal level. However, based on the sample size of professional escorts I've seen across Europe and strippers - Igbo chics, just like the Edo ones, tend to be more into professional prostitution.
The only thing I don't agree with is that Igbo chics are better looking than Yoruba chics (most naij chics aren't even that good looking tbh - both Igboand Yoruba). I'd say it's easier for you to see a Yoruba chic that will make you go, "oh shyte, she's fine as fvck", though they're very few, than an Igbo chic that will make you feel the same way. However, in terms of quantity when it comes to chics that're not all that, but still slightly above average and easy on the eyes - you'd see more Igbo chics that are like that. So, both groups cancel each other out.
Anyway, don't let folks dictate to you the type of women you need to be with. When it comes women, you always have to keep ya options open and go with women you connect with the most and that will make you happy, regardless of all the noise some clowns are making on the outside. If you connect more with Igbo women, get one and enjoy ya life. Personally, I don't really connect with naij chics like that and I'm always out there shooting for the skies and I roll with whatever basket the ball drops in. See confusion! Bros, whether you agree or not, igbo girls are more beautiful than yoruba girls. Yoruba girls can dress, speak "fone" English, but they're nowhere near Igbo girls in terms of beauty. You can even say Igbo girls and edo girls Sabi ashi work pass, I'll agree with you. But beauty? No go area. |

somegirl1: This isn't quite true especially of the ones who grew up in the West. Even abroad they speak their language and are surprised that you don't understand it, as though Yoruba is a lingua franca of Nigeria. They however get suspicious when you speak in your language and request, albeit playfully, that you translate. Kai! Nne, nawa o! You sabi yoruba people like book. It's so annoying when they're genuinely surprised you don't understand their language. I'll be like, why don't you understand mine and they'll give me their make-believe smiles but in their mind, they'd be like, "omo Ibo oshi" |

LekinsRibirth: I'm currently on a crossroad and I really need your cordial insights on this issue. I graduated two years ago and I'm currently 25years old and God has been extremely so good to me. I was recently able to secure a job in a multinational firm and I receive a very good pay. I've been able to put a lot of things in order and I feel I'm ready to settle down. I proposed marriage to my girlfriend who is currently 23 and she accepted. our families have been friends even before we were born. myself and her grew up together and we are literally best friends( we've officially been dating for the past 4years). I've stated my intentions to my parents and hers but they both disagreed .They said we're too young to start a family and we should wait for a minimum of 4 to 5 years . I'll be travelling out of the country next year with my company to start an off-shore business unit and I planned to get married to her by December and take her along with me. I really don't know what to do as my family has become my enemy in this issue. They threatened not to give me their blessings and never to accept money from me if I go ahead with my plans. You're too young to marry. If you get married now, give it two years and you'll be asking yourself why you couldn't wait a little longer. Young people get bored easily and most times, they lack the patience and understanding needed in a marriage. |
