Debsify: Hello all,
I just paid for spouse's ECA with ICES, but prior to paying, I didn't upload her student copy of her school's transcript, because it's not ready yet, but what's giving me major concern now is that her certificate isn't ready, but she has a statement of degree results, and I sent an email to ICES asking if this can suffix and they said no..what to do? Please how did you manage to pay for ur ICES?..please help me out here. I am having difficulties doing that... Secondly I intend to go get my transcript sent to ICES from my school by monday..do I need to pay for ICES before getting the transcript or transcript before payment? Very urgent please |

The $200 per credential in ICES is it $200 for passport, $200 for certificate/statement of results and $200 for transcript or just $200 for all of them... The stuff is getting me confused.. |

Please house I want some clarification on these, before now I had applied for my transcript and it happens that I have a copy of it from my school that is not stated boldly on it as student copy. Can I upload it along side other documents not minding that it's not a student copy? Secondly do ICES have list of schools they evaluate in Nigeria? |

joephemzyz: Hello guys..trust yall doing great, Pls I have a question
I intend to apply for a master's degree. ..now, I observed most schools in aussie indicate completion of a 4 year degree .
Thing is I first completed NCE in technical education, with which I applied for direct entry to the university. .. hence, I got in 200 level and spent 3 years instead of 4.
How can I package my application? Thank you. n Yes u can go ahead and apply to the school, because it is assumed in our schooling system that u have spent part of ur 4 years in NCE and going through direct entry and summing ur total years spent in school make it 4 years.... Go ahead it's a win case for u. |

Date of grant 24-07-2017 (7:37am) School- Deakin University, melbourne Orientation- 03-07-2017 Start date- 10-07-2017 (lol man don old for house)
Its a real testimony people, up until friday midnight i hadnt lost hope of getting my grant infact i bought a new travelling box this weekend, ironed and arranged all my cloths with the strong hope of getting visa grant this week. A friend asked me this morning ' how far visa neva Show? Nd that immediately reminded me to check my email. Lo nd behold visa grant To all expecting visa..this week would not pass you by in Jesus name. Just have a strong believe and be hopeful. Would also advice all hopefuls to check their emails regularly. The longer it takes u to reponds to the request of an additional document from your case officer the longer it would take for an apporved visa grant. Eyin temi ni melbourne..im coming Woooooo dis good news.... Thank God for u.. I tap into ur testimony.... Congrats. |

olamitunposi: Hi guys, I hope y'all are doing fine? I have quick question on behalf of a friend who just got admitted to a university in Australia, and I'm still waiting for my own offer for Sept intake. He just got his offer and was told to make payment of $14+AU. My question is what rate does CBN charge for form A? He asked a banker and was told #360, but on CBN website it was #305/$. So if anyone have an idea or has recently made payments through form A should please let me know at what rate. Thank You Which of the banks did he ask? |

lusen: Before i came to Australia to commence my studies, I always ask if I will be able to pay the second year tuition through savings and intensive work as i could only afford the first year fees (no thanks to our falling naira). I always wonder why nobody gave me a straightforward answer until I came here and got to know I was only asking a jamb question. Truly, its a difficult question to answer as what worked for Mr. A might not work for Mr. B.
Yes, you can get a Job to feed yourself and pay for accommodation. It's really gonna be hard if you wanna pay school fees yourself. Its actually very possible if you are the 'hustling' type. There are people doing it. But definately, you mustn't be lazy, unnecessarily choosy nor Lilly livered. You must be strong. Very strong.. Generally, i will say, if you can afford only one year tuition, take the risk. You never know what God will do.
Note that about 70% of jobs here will require you to have a car. Bring your driving licence and plan to buy a car as soon as you land. Bring lots of money to settle down(as much as possible). By my observation so far, Aged care/disability jobs is the best for international students. But most times, one must be certified before he/She can be employed in an aged care facility, meaning you should also try as much as possible to start the course after settling down.
Yes. truly, one should enable to find schools around the cities where there are greater job opportunities. I av peeps in the cities that are changing jobs like diapers. work full everywhere. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the likes.
I'm not in any of the cities I listed above. I'm in Geelong. (one hour from Melbourne). But its okay by me because apart from the low cost of living, I will grab my extra 5points when I finish my studies and start processing my PR. geelong is considered a regional area and no 5 extra points for those in big cities.
If your plan is to stay back after your studies. You must make sure you are coming to do a two-year program minimum. Also the course you are coming to study must not only be on the SOL/CSOL list, It also should be a course you think will 'stand the test of time' on the list, so you won't wake up one day and discover your course is nowhere to be found on the list.
Australia is a very beautiful place. A multicultural society. The people are very friendly. They keep smiling at you like you just won 30billion.
hope I've not written too much epistle.. Okay let me drop my pen. cheers! please I would like to confirm, can one go with his spouse... I have an offer with bond University and am thinking about going with my spouse... I would need and advice on this if I should go first and then she join me later or if it's possible to leave with her.... Waiting for ur response. |
