PoliticsBago Clarifies Position: “we Didn’t Ban Evangelism, We Only Asked For Scripture by steveodo(op): 11:28am On Sep 15, 2025
Governor Umaru Bago of Niger State has dismissed speculations that his administration outlawed evangelism, explaining that the government’s move was misunderstood.

Speaking on TVC News, the governor stressed, “I did not ban evangelism in Niger State.” He explained that the directive came from the state’s Religious Affairs body, which only asked preachers to present their sermon materials for vetting before public delivery.

According to him, this is not unusual. “What was said is that anyone scheduled to preach, especially during Friday sermons, should submit their scriptures for review. It’s a normal practice. Even in Saudi Arabia, such procedures exist,” Bago noted.

The clarification indicates that the state is not attempting to silence religious activities but rather to regulate them, with the likely aim of curbing inflammatory messages and promoting peace among different faith groups.

By drawing parallels with Saudi Arabia, where religious messages are carefully monitored, the governor attempted to frame the policy as a standard global approach. Still, the comparison may not sit well with all Nigerians, given the stark differences in governance and religious freedoms between both nations.

Supporters of the move may see it as a responsible step toward safeguarding harmony, while critics argue that it borders on government interference with religious liberty, which the Nigerian constitution protects.

With Bago’s comments now in the open, the debate is expected to intensify in the coming days as citizens and religious leaders weigh the balance between preserving peace and safeguarding constitutional freedoms.

Do you think if the masses have access to politicians without security the politician will not collect? na security de protect them.

PresidentMUGABE:
I'm scared for Nigerian women in the next 10 to 15 years. When I look at Gegeh's doctrines and the number of young men who followed him, lots of Nigerian women will face a massive decline in masculine men.

Therefore there will be lots of masculine women. Gehgeh is teaching men not to be responsible. Running away from responsibility, which is one of the principles of turning a boy into a man.

This isn't rocket science! If the men are running away from being responsible men who work and take care of themselves and their women, the women will have to work hard and become the men they wish they had.

Sadly, the same men will hate their women because they will become aggressive, competitive, less agreeable, dominant and masculine traits are opposing to men in the dating market.

Women are not built to face toughness. Men are built for it. Men becoming women is a choice of weakness; women becoming men is a choice of survival.

We need men to be men and women to be women. It's what its...

FamilyLandlord marries his Tennant who helped him when his wife lock him out by steveodo(op): 11:23am On Jul 27, 2025
According to a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the man identified as @tort_walec, the turning point came in 2017 when his wife once again locked him out of the house for coming home late — something she had done numerous times before.

However, that night was different. His kind and beautiful female tenant opened her door to him, offering him shelter. That simple act of compassion eventually blossomed into something deeper.

“In 2017, my wife locked me outside, but our beautiful, kind-hearted female tenant opened her door for me. Long story short — she’s no longer a tenant. We now have three children,” he wrote.

He added that being locked out was not new to him, noting that it had happened more than 20 times. That particular incident marked the breaking point in his first marriage.

“That was the over 20th time,” he said.

His story has gone viral amid an ongoing conversation on X about whether it is acceptable for a wife to lock her husband out of the house for coming home late. The post attracted a flurry of mixed reactions from users:

@MahunguK: “She locked you out once, & you immediately moved on? Your story is incomplete.”

@JanSajaad_: “Brotherhood, sisterhood, Bollywood, Hollywood, and all other ‘hoods’ are proud of you, bro.”

@klausepoch: “Haha, how many children did you have with your first wife though?”

@TuhumwireN87004: “I can’t forget the day my aunt locked her husband out at 1am. The man left and didn’t return for two weeks. His phones were off the whole time. My aunt couldn’t sleep, filled with regret.”

@FrankOyoo: “I also know of a guest who was locked out once. Ever since, he only books Airbnb whenever he visits.”

A Light in the Wilderness: The Story of Abubakar Abdullahi
The Real Work of the Cross Among the Fulani People

In a time when the name “Fulani” often triggers fear, tension, and painful memories, one man is boldly rewriting that story, not with speeches or slogans, but with the quiet, sacrificial power of the Gospel.

His name is Abubakar Abdullahi, and what he’s doing in the remote bushes of Nigeria is nothing short of extraordinary.

While many see the Fulani people as a source of crisis known for clashes, violence, and displacement. Abubakar is proving that God still has vessels in every tribe and tongue, even among the most misunderstood. He is Fulani by birth, but more importantly, he is a servant of Christ by calling. And he has made the bush his pulpit, the forgotten villages his mission field, and his own people his God-given assignment.

But this is not just another mission story. Abubakar is not just preaching sermons. He is living the Cross.

He understands that transformation cannot happen when the message is foreign or distant. So he took a bold step: he began to share the Bible in the Fulani (Fulfude) indigenous language, the heart language of his people. For the first time, Fulani men and women, young and old, could read the words of Jesus in a language that resonates with their soul. The Gospel is no longer a stranger to them, it has come home.

And when he saw that many of his people cannot read or write, Abubakar went further. He created and distributed audio Bibles in Fulani so that even the illiterate can hear the Good News. Now, under the shade of trees, around campfires, in huts and grazing fields, the Word of God is being played and heard, transforming hearts in places many have written off.

This is the real work of the cross. No lights, no cameras, no applause, just obedience, love, and sacrifice. It is the kind of ministry that Jesus modeled—going to the forgotten, the feared, the rejected, and giving them hope.

Abubakar is showing us that not all Fulani are violent. In fact, some are on fire for Christ. Some are risking everything to reach their brothers and sisters—not with bullets, but with Bibles. Not with force, but with faith.

If Abubakar succeeds and by God's grace, he will, we won’t need to keep praying for herdsmen attacks to stop. Because the Gospel will have already done the deeper work, changing hearts from within. Peace will come not just through security forces, but through spiritual revival among the people themselves.

But Abubakar cannot do this alone.

He needs our prayers. He needs our encouragement. He needs our support. The Kingdom work he’s doing is not glamorous, but it is powerful. It is costly. And it is eternal.

So today, we lift up Abubakar Abdullahi as a shining example of what true missions look like. Let us support men like him who go where we cannot go. Let us believe in what God is doing in and through the Fulani people. And let us remember that revival often begins in the wilderness far from the spotlight, but close to the heart of God.

May the Lord strengthen Abubakar. May He protect him, provide for him, and multiply the fruit of his labor. And may the Fulani people be known not for violence, but for the glory of God that is rising from among them.

The victims of Yelwata cry out over Lack of food and water.

Today, I visited the IDP camp where women and children displaced by the YELWATA massacre are barely surviving. Their tears are not just from pain — they are from hunger, thirst, and neglect.

These are fellow Nigerians crying out to the federal and state governments:
👉🏽 We need food.
👉🏽 We need clean water.
👉🏽 We need protection.

What’s even more heartbreaking? The little relief materials brought by kind-hearted Nigerians are allegedly being diverted for personal gain. This is not just unfair — it’s inhuman.

Dr Paul Enenche give reasons for rejecting Kebbi state government cash gift.

Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche's decision to reject the ₦30 million donation from the Kebbi State Government during the Healing and Deliverance Crusade is a profound demonstration of integrity and principle. According to him, one value he holds dearly is the commitment to channeling resources to their original purpose—government funds for government projects and church funds for church activities. This philosophy reflects a deep understanding of accountability and responsible leadership. By declining the offer, Pastor Enenche reinforces the belief that public funds should be used to address pressing societal needs like education, healthcare, and infrastructure, rather than being diverted to religious events. In a country like Nigeria, where corruption and misuse of public resources are widespread, such an action is both rare and commendable. It sets a powerful moral example, emphasizing that spiritual institutions must remain independent and not be swayed by political influence. He further appealed to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to take a similar stand whenever public funds are channeled inappropriately into religious activities. To underscore his commitment, he promised to personally donate the same ₦30 million to CAN. His decision not only protected the sanctity of the pulpit but also reminded public leaders of their duty to the people. It is a bold call for ethical governance and responsible stewardship.

Christianity EtcPaul Enenche Rejects ₦30 Million From Kebbi Governor Idris (Video) by steveodo(op): 8:51am On Jun 19, 2025
Something remarkable happened during the Kebbi State Healing and Deliverance Crusade in Benin Kebbi. The state government offered a whopping ₦30,000,000 to support the crusade, but the senior pastor graciously turned it down. Instead, he asked that the money be used to care for orphanages and the homeless. What a heart of gold! In a time when many would rush to collect, this man of God chose compassion over comfort. God bless him richly! 🙌🔥

Pastor Enenche rejects N30m donation from Kebbi governor

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche, has rejected a N30 million donation offered by the Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, during a crusade organised by the church in the state.

The gesture occurred at the Kebbi Healing and Deliverance Crusade, where a representative of the governor, Kebbi’s Commissioner for Social Duties, Zayyanu Umar Aliero, announced the cash gift on behalf of the governor.

Aliero told the gathering that the N30m was approved as a donation to the crusade’s organising committee and was available in cash.

Aliero said, “Our Governor, His Excellency Dr Nasir Idris, a faithful Governor and also a Comrade Governor, who you all know is the only Comrade Governor in this country. He has therefore graciously approved the donation of the sum of 30 million naira to this gathering.

“That is to the organising committee. His Excellency has approved the donation of a sum of 30 million naira to the organising committee, which you know that whenever His Excellency makes a donation, he doesn’t leave without bringing that donation in cash. So before I leave this stage, I want to present that sum of 30 million naira in cash.”

However, Enenche declined the offer, taking to the stage to urge that the money be redirected to charitable causes.

If there is anything like orphanage, if there is anything like that, at your discretion, please apply this amount of money to it. No. It will not be received, the senior pastor said.

Speaking later, Enenche explained the church’s stance, emphasising that public funds should be used solely for public causes.

“We are one of those who believe that government money should be used for government projects and government things should be used for government things; and church money should be used for church things, not mixed together.

“That is what we did that is what we do. As small as the Glory Dome is right there, government money is not in it. From land to the building to everything,” he said.

He added that the body of Christ should “trust God for supernatural supplies.”

He suggested that the donation be handed over to a government-approved religious body instead, such as the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board or the Christian Association of Nigeria.

“This is so that we can retain our dignity as a body of Christ; retain our dignity as a church, and say what we need to say when we need to say it. And be able to say what we need to say when we need to say it,” he said.

Aliero, speaking after the rejection, acknowledged Enenche’s position.

“They don’t accept it because whatever he is doing, he is doing it for the sake of God. We really appreciate and we really thank him for what he is doing in our state,” he said.
