Firstly, I would like to appreciate all the graduates in Nigeria it is not an easy fit to be a graduate against all odds, as the tertiary institutions are not an easy environment to be in and come out clean. If one is a graduate, it means that the person went, saw and conquered. Ones, journey of graduatehood cannot be complete if the individual did not serve his father's land, especially if he or she graduates when the individual is below the age of 30years. The burning issue now is that most Nigerian graduates are complaining that, most of them now earn salaries lower than what a corp member takes home monthly. It can be recalled that the government of President Mohamadu Buhari approved #33,000(thirty three thousand Naira only) as monthly allowance for serving Corp members in Nigeria. Even the Npower beneficiaries of the President Mohamadu Buhari's administration take home #30,000 (thirty thousand Naira only) monthly as their stipend, this amount is three thousand Naira lower than what a Corp member takes home. Npower beneficiaries are made up of graduates who have undergone the compulsory one year service and some even have masters and PhD, especially the second batch of 300,000 beneficiaries. Though it is on record that few members of the npower first batch of 200,000 beneficiaries have some NCE holders among them. The right thing should be done, as what is good for the goose is good for the gender. Most Nigerians graduates who work for the private sectors earn way below N33,000 monthly in their various work places, this issue should be addressed so that everyone can be happy and work with dignity. https://tstevefisheries..com/2020/05/agonies-of-nigerian-graduates-who-earns.html?m=1 |

Afolabi is the cluster head at Npower Nigeria, he was an SA to the vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Npower is a programme initiated by the President Mohamadu Buhari and his vice Osibanjo's administration, where they have been paying Nigerian youths enrolled into the program the sum of N30,000 monthly. The beneficiaries were selected purely on merit. You need not know anyone in government to be a beneficiary on like what is generally obtainable in Nigeria before this time. Where you must know a senator or a house of representatives member before you can get any federal government job. Here all you need to do is to apply like others, then write the exam if you are successful, the national orientation agency will do physical verification on you, to ascertain if your claims where true. If you pass that stage succefully, you are then posted to either school, hospital or ministry of agriculture in your state of residence. https://tstevefisheries..com/2020/05/npowermr-afolabi-npower-cluster-head.html?m=1 |

On May 7, 1999, during the NATO bombing ofYugoslavia (Operation Allied Force), five US Joint Direct Attack Munition guided bombs hit the People's Republic of China Embassy in the Belgrade district of New Belgrade killing three Chinese journalists and outraging the Chinese public. According to the U.S. government, the intention had been to bomb the nearby Yugoslav Federal Directorate for Supply and Procurement. President Bill Clinton later apologized for the bombing, stating it was accidental.(CIA) director George Tenet testified before a congressional committee that the bombing was the only one in the campaign organized and directed by his agency, and that the CIA had identified the wrong coordinates for a Yugoslav military target on the same street. The Chinese government issued a statement on the day of the bombing, stating that it was a "barbarian act". China is not smiling at all and can do anything to protect her territory. The south China Sea disputes involve both island and maritime claims among several sovereign states within the region, namely Brune, the people republic of China (PRC), (ROC/Taiwan), Indonesia , Malaysia the Philippines and Vietnam . An estimated US$3.37 trillion worthof global trade passes through the South China Sea annually, which accounts for a third of the global maritime trade. 80 percent of China's energy imports and 39.5 percent of China's total trade passes through the South China Sea. The disputes include the islands, reefs, banks, and other features of the South China Sea, including the islands and various boundaries in the Gulf of Tonkin . There are further disputes, including the waters near the IndonesianNatuna islands which many do not regard as part of the South China Sea.Claimant states are interested in retaining or acquiring the rights to fishing stocks, the exploration and potential exploitation of crude oil and natural gas in the seabed of various parts of the South China Sea, and the strategic control of important shipping lanes. Since 2013, the People's Republic of China has resorted to island building in the Spratly Islands and the Paracel Islands region. These actions have been met with a wide international condemnation, and since 2015 the United States and other states . https://tstevefisheries..com/2020/05/china-inducts-2-nuclear-submarines-and.html?m=1 |

While the family was having their dinner,, the little girl wasn't eating. After a few moments, she said, “I have something to tell you people” Silence around the table. “I’m no longer a virgin”, and she begins to cry. A long silence again. And then, the father angrily screamed at his wife, “It’s your fault! Always dress and make up like a prostitute! Do you think you are setting a good example for your daughter? The wife, in turn shouted at her husband: “What about you? Are you setting a good example? Wasting your salary on runs girls who sometimes even accompany you to your doorstep! Are you setting a good example for your daughter?”. The father continued: “And her elder sister, that good for nothing, With her rasta man of a boyfriend, Who is always found with her in all the hotels. Do you believe she is setting a good example for her younger sister?” And the rant went on. …. The grandmother touches the shoulder of her little grand daughter to console her And asks her : “Well, my little girl, how did it happen?” And the little girl replies while still crying. "it’s the priest” The grandmother asked: “What do you mean, by ''it is the priest ?” The little girl said: “The priest has chosen another girl to be Virgin Mary in the Christmas play. I’m no longer playing the role of Virgin Mary again." WHAT A LESSON price of impatience)Even you the reader was much in a hurry to conclude and blame the priest before the story ends. It's natural to be shocked at the beginning of any story but learn to listen to the whole story before you react. Only then can you solve the issues thrown up by the story. Remember wrong words can't be undone even with the highest apology!..... Our voice is like an egg, once it lands on the floor, you can never get it back. ALWAYS LISTEN TO THE END BEFORE YOU REACT... Hopefully you are keeping safe and warm in the house https://tstevefisheries..com/2020/05/fictioni-am-no-longer-virgin-says-10yrs.html?m=1 |
Yoruba The Yoruba tribe comprises of, possibly, the largest ethnic groups that reside in the African subcontinent. People belonging to the Yoruba tribe mainly belong to the southwestern Nigeria and the southern Benin region. Considered as one of the most educated tribes of Africa, the Yoruba people hold prominent positions in politics as well as the corporate sector. In fact, the Yoruba tribe has also proved its mettle in entrepreneurship with a large number of its tribesmen running successful businesses. It is considered as one of the richest tribes in Nigeria. The Yoruba tribe is a close-knit community. They have a strong network of connections spread throughout the continent. They prefer looking internally within the community to fulfill their requirements and needs; thus, ensuring that the tribe prospers. This is one of the main reasons why the Yoruba is one of the richest tribes in Nigeria. And as one of the richest tribes in Nigeria. Nigeria is replete with rich heritage, culture, and tradition that has been preserved by every tribe, individually. Ihave listed some reasons why the richest tribe in Nigeria goes to the Yoruba and we have seen her unique qualities. While the top three tribes remain as Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo, it is difficult to say which one holds the number one position https://tstevefisheries..com/2020/05/see-why-yoruba-tribe-are-richest-in.html?m=1 |
The Ibo or Igbo people are found in southeastern Nigeria and have many interesting customs and traditions. With a population of around 40 million throughout Nigeria, they are one of the biggest and most influential tribes. Igbos are well-known for their entrepreneurial endeavours, both within Nigeria and around the world. Here’s everything you need to know. History The Igbo people are descended from Eri, a divine figure who, according to Igbo folklore, was sent from heaven to begin civilization. Another account presents Eri as one of the sons of Gad (as mentioned in the book of Genesis in the Bible) who travelled down to establish the present-day Igboland. In Nigeria, Igbos inhabit an area referred to as Igboland, which is divided into two sections along the lower River Niger. They live in most or all parts of five states: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo, as well as minor parts of Delta, Rivers and Benue states. Small Igbo communities are also found in parts of Cameroon and Equitorial Guinea. As a result of the transatlantic slave trade, Igbos have migrated to other countries including Jamaica, Cuba, Barbados, Belize, the United States among others. Elements of Igbo culture have been found in Jamaican patois – for example the Igbo word ‘unu’ which means ‘you’ is still used, while ‘red Ibo‘ or ‘red eboe‘ describes a black person with fairer skin (a lighter skin tone is common among Igbos). A area of Belize City is called Eboe Town after its Igbo-descended inhabitants. Since the late 20th century, many Nigeria immigrants have gone to the United States, and many of them are Igbos. It is estimated that more than 2000,000 Igbos live in the United States. Culture and traditions Governance The Igbo political system differs significantly from most of its West African neighbours. With exception of a few major Igbo communities which have an Obi (king), Igbos have a traditional republican system of government, which is a consultative assembly of people, which guarantees equality to citizens. This system is a departure from the usual form of government with a king ruling over the subjects. Even though there are title holders who are respected by their achievements, they are never rev.. https://tstevefisheries..com/2020/05/what-is-igbo-tribe-known-for.html?m=1 |

Anger, also known as wrath or rage is an intense emotional state involving a strong uncomfortable and hostile response to a perceived provocation, hurt or threat. A person experiencing anger will often experience physical effects, such as increased heart rate, elevated blood pressure, and increased levels of adrenaline and noradrinaline Some view anger as an emotion which triggers part of the fight or flight response.Anger becomes the predominant feeling behaviorally, cognitively, and physiologically when a person makes the conscious choice to take action to immediately stop the threatening behavior of another outside force. The English term originally comes from the term anger of Old Norse language. Anger can have many physical and mental consequences. The external expression of anger can be found in facial expressions, body language, physiological responses, and at times public acts of aggression . Facial expressions can range from inward angling of the eyebrows to a full frown .While most of those who experience anger explain its arousal as a result of "what has happened to them," psychologists point out that an angry person can very well be mistaken because anger causes a loss in self-monitoring capacity and objective observability. Modern psychologists view anger as a normal, natural, and mature emotion experienced by virtually all humans at times, and as something that has functional value for survival. Uncontrolled anger can, however, negatively affect personal or social well being and impact negatively on those around them. While many philosophers and writers have warned against the spontaneous and uncontrolled fits of anger, there has been disagreement over the intrinsic value of anger. The issue of dealing with anger has been written about since the times of the earliest philosophers, but modern psychologists, in contrast to earlier writers, have also pointed out the possible harmful effects of suppressing anger. Pain alone is not enough to cause anger. Anger occurs when pain is combined with some anger-triggering thought. Thoughts that can trigger anger include personal assessments, assumptions, evaluations, or interpretations of situations that makes people think that someone else is attempting (consciously or not) to hurt them. In this sense, anger is a social emotion; You always have a target that your anger is directed against (even if that target is yourself). Feelings of pain, combined with anger-triggering thoughts, motivate you to take action, face threats and defend yourself by striking out against the target you think is causing you pain https://tstevefisheries..com/2020/05/the-danger-in-anger-why-you-should.html?m=1 |
https://tstevefisheries..com/2020/05/see-6-empowering-gifts-of-anger.html?m=1 Saying No And Setting Boundaries The fire of anger is fierce and generous. From it we access the assertiveness needed to draw the line; to declare that a boundary is crossed or that we are being hurt or harmed. When afraid of this fire we become too watery, too fluid, too wishy-washy; we lack the firmness needed to assert where we begin and end which opens the door for people to take advantage of us. Maintaining Integrity Building upon the last point, anger ensures that we stay true to ourselves. Personally, anger is a signal that I am out of integrity. If someone asks me to do something that doesn’t feel right and I agree to it, I often feel angry soon after. My fail-safe anger-guide quickly informs me that I denied what is right for me, that I compromised my personal integrity. The anger is screaming No; it’s telling me I didn’t listen to my intuition. Entering Conflict A clear sign of fearing anger is the chronic avoidance of conflict. Conflict is a natural part of life. Try as we might, we can’t dance around it forever. All of us must soon enter its crucible. But it’s harder to do so if we fear anger, for conflict most often demands that we assert ourselves, including our feelings and opinions, which can seem incredibly dangerous if we learned that anger and conflict was unsafe. If we can temper this fear and befriend our anger we may find ourselves entering conflict more willingly and navigating it skillfully. And we’ll reap the benefits hidden in conflict such as growth and Creativity And Purpose Some of my best writing comes from an angry response to what I witness or experience: someone crosses a line with me, or I feel angry at how children, animals or Mother Nature are being treated. During these times a clear No surges in me; and then, if I’m lucky, a clear Yes also emerges pointing me towards what to take a stand for. In the No I find the Yes calling. I turn that red-hot primal energy into art, into service. For many, anger at injustice may call them to advocate, to paint, to start a support group, to confront someone who needs to know the harmful impact they are having. Anger if made conscious and used intentionally can turn passive bystanders |

The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes has closed for the first time in over a century following new restrictions in France to slow the spread of the coronavirus. “For the first time in its history, the sanctuary will close its doors for a while. Pray with us the novena to the Immaculate,” Mgr. Olivier Ribadeau Dumas, rector of the Lourdes sanctuary announced . No public Masses will be offered in the sanctuary due to national measures announced by French Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron on that evening. France is the third European country to enact a mandatory national quarantine in response to the growing number of cases of COVID-19. Italy and Spain have both imposed nationwide lockdowns, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis have also announced bans on all religious services in their countries. https://tstevefisheries..com/2020/04/catholics-novena-as-lourdes-closes-for.html?m=1 |

Reasons Why China And Other Western Countries Want To Help Nigeria By All Means opera.com2h There are a couple of reasons why Chinese government and other Foreign countries are interested in helping Nigeria to fight against Coronavirus pandemic in the country. It is no longer news that Nigeria now has over 200 cases of Coronavirus Infections in Nigeria. So far, we have recorded 6 deaths and 44 recovered cases. There has been some form of help which has come from different foreign countries. The latest set of efforts by foreign countries is the 2.2 billion naira donated by German government to Nigeria. Another effort by Foreign countries is the group of scientist that the Chinese government sent to Nigeria to help fight against Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria. Many Nigerians don't like the fact that the Chinese government sent scientist to our country. Even the Nigerian medical association is not happy with the development. This high level of distrust from Nigerians have made me to do some research and uncover why some foreign countries are interested in helping Nigeria to fight against Coronavirus pandemic. Maybe my findings will help Nigerians understand that these foreign countries means well for us. There are a couple of reasons why some of these foreign countries are willing to help Nigeria during this trying times. Some of these reasons include: (1) countries often provide foreign aid to enhance their own security: this is one of the most important reasons why countries offer helping hands to other countries. Most countries offer this helping hand in other to safeguard themselves. Coronavirus is a worldwide pandemic. If the virus is allowed to thrive in any country (especially third world countries mainly found in Africa) then the world cannot truly claim that the virus have been defeated. As long as the virus still affects 1 country in this world, it has the potential to spread to other countries as well. Most of the developed countries worry about countries in Africa, because the continent does not have the facilities or experts which would enable them to fight Covid-19 effectively. If Africa is left alone, Covid-19 will become a way of life in Africa; In the long run, the virus will make its way back to these developed countries. (2) Trade war between China and America is another reason why China is eager to help the rest of the world: China and United States of America have been engaged in trade war for sometime now. The two countries are trying to outclass one another and establish their economy as the world's largest and most stable economy. If a country wants to become a recognized world power, then they must start playing the big brother role more often. One of the ways China knows that they can exhibit their big brother role is by giving countries some money, and sending medical experts to help them tackle the pandemic. Presently, United States of America are struggling to control the virus in their own country. They cannot afford to send medical doctors to any part of the world. Infact, the United States of America are calling back their medical experts that are in other countries. This is a perfect opportunity for China to showcase their ability and intentions to take over from America. The best ways to do this is to send the best medical doctors to countries that are in short supply of medical experts. (3) Economic interest of foreign countries: Let us use China as an example. Chinese people are losing billions of dollars because of the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria. Most of the products we use in Nigeria are mainly Chinese products. There are lockdown in most parts of Nigeria. Flights are not going out or coming in. Goods are not going out or imported into the country. Chinese government and Chinese businesses are suffering unimaginable loses because of Covid-19 pandemic in Nigeria. Their goods are not coming into Nigeria any longer. The truth of the matter is that, the earlier Covid-19 is eradicated from Nigeria, the better for Chinese government. They want things to go back to normal, so that economic activities will resume and both countries will be happy for it. These are some of the reasons why Foreign countries will always be willing to help Nigeria in particular, and Africa at large during the time of crisis and needs. The world is interconnected. What affects one country will in one way or another affect every other country if the problem is not solved quickly. |

Some of them have had to borrow to survive and also come to work,” she said. Ishaku said though she can still go to work but the lack of payment has destabilized her. “My productivity level has gone down. It was not this way before. Though oil communities are usually rich, these boys are not into oil business. In fact, they are not interested in your oil money. They have lucrative business far more profitable than your so called oil business. This their work is internet frauds, hacking, love scam and others too numerous to mention. They are so established in this business in Abraka that you can hardly see any other cars except their trademark cars, Benz, venza and Lexus. Any other car is for learners. These yahoo Boys as they are called are super rich and Abraka seems to be their headquarters. However, since November 2019, something strange have been happening in the towns and indeed in the nearby communities in Nigeria . Most of these young boys are now dying in numbers and I am very concerned. These boys are very good people. Very generous and jovial. I wonder why people take delight in killing well to do youths. One called ogaga, well known in ekrejeta just came back from Dubai, slumped and died. He is from orerokpe. Another one married in December and he died January 10th without any symptoms of ailment. His name is Don Otuya from obiaruku but stays opposite the second campus gate. People in this area must know him very well. Even one died in a car crash just January and the list is endless I want to use this medium to call on Abraka kings to unite and find a lasting solution to this problem. The selection was transparent, thus people from different tribe were chosen, depending on your place of residence. Now if you go to rivers state for example, the era of having children that cannot express themselves in the village schools are over, because of the quality of graduate teachers. Before now to get a government teaching appointment, you must bribe your way, so both teachers who cannot express themselves are given jobs because they can afford to pay the bribe. Many rivers state indigines that their parents couldn't afford private school education, cannot read and write, it is a verifiable fact. The government should allow npower to stay for their own good. |
