FOR COUPLES GOING WITH CHILD(REN), please and please try to plan your settling down in canada, e.g the family should do a soft landing, then the wife and the child(ren) could come back to Nigeria to continue working, for like a year plus, maximum a year plus . the husband sh(c)ould go and hustle, familiarize for the family lol. why this? settling down with children can be very daunting, due to high cost of daycare, challenges of renting an apartment, cost of transportation e.t.c. but with one person it is less costly, when the husband is settled fairly, then the family would come join (i have factored in cost of flying). but if the family stays together in CA, proof of funds would be tampered with heavily and might set some folks into panic mode. because one MIGHT not get a dream job immediately. just my two cents. I STAND TO BE CORRECTED

Nothing about this is relatable. In fact soft landing for the children should NEVER be an option. Ask every parent why they are moving and they will tell you it's cos of the children. You want the kids to assimilate on time to get the best of everything. As for the POF that's the purpose of money to be spent. Eventually you will get a job . The Canadian government also have subsidies and child welfare programs. It won't be a bed of roses but as a family you will not go to bed with an empty stomach.

Agreed homosexuality is a crime in Nigeria however it has nothing to do with values. With the unprintable things associated with Nigeria what two consenting adults do with themselves will do little or nothing to push the needle on our decayed values in Nigeria.

Do you have ITA If yes you see the required documents and medicals is one of them. You should read the first page of this thread for more insight

I was already thinking how I was going to go about WES and trying to explain myself with both other names.
Don't be offended bro. How does one send stuff to ICES for evaluation? And what other thing do you think they need apart from both transcripts.

You can send your documents via email. Check their website and read the FAQ(frequently asked questions) you will see all the documents needed

The truth is, I have conflicting other names in my waec n GCE .
I was dumb then I didn't know it had implications.
But I have a newspaper edit and aliso an avidavit stating both other names are my names, but I am still weary of using WES and want to be sure ICES who does not require waec will give me 2 or more certificates

The two certificates will be evaluated individually so you would have two ECAs which will in turn become 2 or more certificates.

Caveat am assuming you have two certificates to evaluate cos ICES evaluates each certificate separate

I just need a sample to construct mine with because the job duties provided for in the NOC are what I do but I don't want my work reference to be verbatim.

Just indicate and I'd slide into your DM, it's kinda urgent now.

If you are in litigation simple include all the things you do from filling of proecess in court to legal representation
If it's corporate law - same
You don't have to even look at the NOC to know your JD. If you need more clarification send me a PM

I have a previous work experience of 2yrs and 6months in a certain NOC.

In one of my current employments, I'll be 6months in April (different NOC from the previous).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand both NOCs can be combined to claim 3years experienc. Must the second one be a minimum of 1year?

If I recall you may lose some money for withdrawal [ am not certain] but of not your concerns are valid.
1. Note that because you have cash payment doesn't necessarily mean interview but it seems you didn't show any proof of salary for that job i.e inflow of cash for that job.
2. Did you submit any other proof of employment apart from the standard letter that CIC requires if not then your concerns are valid.
3. Also consider the expiration date of your IELTS before it expires should you be thinking of reapplying.
All in all it takes guts to withdraw an application but 30% I think you should .

Good morning everyone. I have a question relating to "two or more certificates" I have a Bsc and Diploma.
I had earlier evaluated by Bsc with IQAS but my scores are not good enough so I want to evaluate my diploma now.
The question is must I evaluate the 2nd diploma with IQAS or I can evaluate it say ICES and merge the two assessment to qualify for two or more certificates?

Thank you for your response. I've read the requirements on the WES site but I just want to clarify it. Can I just send a copy of my WAEC certificate with copies of my diploma certificates and a scratch card to WES by courier? Will that suffice or does WAEC have to send it? Am I to send only a scratch card?

You need
1. You need to get WAEC to process your transcript to Wes
2 you need to buy a scratch card to be sent to Wes by yourself with other documents needed for your evaluation.

Should I be worried as I intend to use this for canada immigration?

Do an affidavit of "one and the same person" together with your passport data page and send it to Wes with an explanation of how your name should be arranged. Same for your immigration

Are you evaluating your certificates with Wes ? If yes then sending WAEC scratch card is part of the requirements. Read Wes website for better information

thanks for that info bros, did you confirm if sending waec scratch card will replace the verification mail they are expecting from Waec.

I didn't ask that, but you should worry about doing your part by sending the scratch card. Hopefully they won't need to ask for another verification but just use the card option

why don't i believe that WAEC would just send scratch cards for how many people to WES Scratch card that is not free hmm. Anyway i dont think i want to bet my future with WAEC. The picture i posted above states "WHAT YOU NEED TO DO" doesn't speak of any institution in the mix nor even have any institution icon so it is basically on you.

No WAEC doesn't send cards for people. You should send it yourself. They only send your result.

Postal mail means courier so whether DHL or Nipost it's still the same. Also you can send it together with your transcript in the same envelope. I called WES and confirmed this.
