Are you guys deaf ?
In which language must I repeat for the tenth time that all African countries come to buy fuel from our local market when the price is below market value because our borders are porous and traffickers take advantage of this.
In your mind, is Nigeria supposed to be able to subsidise fuel for more than 1 billion people ?

Countries like the USA had policies and actions which caused that problem. They were transitioning away from oil. Any oil producing country that has what I earlier outlined will not have expensive fuel. We must produce to meet our domestic needs. Population is not an excuse. The government is just incompetent and corrupt.

These are major oil nations, Iran's competitors, so Iran can't profit using the Caspian sea.

The Strait of Homuz remains 80% of Iran's oil transit.

Iran has access to the Caspian sea through which it can sell it's oil.

1. You don't get to repeat the words of someone else without referencing the person's name. That's called plagiarism.

2. Zelensky has been known to tell a lot of lies. It is in his interests to lie in order to get favours from his allies.

3. I know you don't know the difference between long range missiles (:= precision missiles ) and dumb bombs and that is one reason why your speech sounds so clueless. Russia bought some north Korean dumb bombs which it then equipped with a kit in order to fly them from a longer range on a non vertical path rather than having them fall vertically.

4. The name of the game is "cost effectiveness", any country would rather use cheap bombs than expensive bombs. That's the one thing you seemed to not have followed in this war even though it was talked about daily for more than 4 years. Countries are not using bomb a because it's better than bomb b, they are using it because it is cheaper and it gets the job done !

Russia have its own long range missiles, but I cannot tell why Putin have stopped using Russian long range missiles for his recent strikes on Ukraine which are now mostly North Korean made from the numerous shells found after explosions. It's coming from Ukraine's President Zelenzky himself not hearsay or my own words.


So it's possible that Russia have run out or low on their own long range missiles or they consider North Korean version a more devastating bomb to use.

So in your mind, Russia can't produce long range missiles, it needs almighty north Korea to give it long range missiles 😓

Russia and China have been secretly supporting Iran to attack US and his MiddleEast allies, that should have ended US decision not to give Ukraine long range missiles. Give Ukraine long range missiles so they can hit Russia harder like Russia has been doing using North Korean made long range missiles which has been causing so much destruction in Ukraine of recent.

Nigeria can not give subsidies on fuel because those subsidies will be hijacked by other African countries through our porous borders.

I think many of these people trying to push for subsidizing fuel are paid by foreign African oil canals. It doesn't help Nigeria or nigerians, it only helps other African countries and fuel traffickers and it impoverishes Nigeria.

Yes, it is understandable. Nigeria is the kind of country where a borehole that should cost N2 million ends up costing 20 million...and so forth. But the thing is, despite the corruption, and despite the looting that goes on, at the end, a refinery incurrs high production costs...and then for government to turn around and say they should sell petrol at N40 per liter and for people to back that is like craze economics.

Sometimes, it is better not to bother. Pesin like me wey dey do subsidy education self, the amount of abuse I get...sometimes I wonder if many of these guys went to school at all.

Nigerians want their government to pay for everything for them. Trying to do that is why we got a bad economy, a large debt, and ironically why the government can';t pay for everything for them, and even why we have such awful corruption. But dem no wan hear.

Anyway, I am happy we no longer subsidise fuel. No more supplying petrol to Central African republic for some random ass neger there to make a profit at our expense. Nigeria first.

Subsidy can't be practiced in a country like Nigeria. Our borders are too porous. If you subsidize products in Nigeria, you ultimately subsidize those products in all of Africa. You go bankrupt.

Do you know that citizens of some of these oil producing countries get some free fuel cards every month as entitlement? Even iran that is currently at war and has been under sanctions for years sells cheaper fuel than Nigeria? How do you explain that?

Subsidy is the same as letting foreign nations steal Nigerian wealth, indeed that subsidised oil will be taken from our local market and sold in all of Africa at a higher price but still below market value.

If government wanted to steal money, then bringing back subsidy is the easiest way.

Good, buy a bicycle or ask your boss for fuel allowance, your boss can ask government to help him pay that allowance when he brings the receipt. We are not going to subsidize all of Africa.

What would an average resident in the European and Western country be needing petrol for, is it to power generator and if they don't have their personal car, public transportation comes with convenience. So the price of petrol in those countries are ridiculously cheap, subsidised. We should make our naira to be equivalent to their currency if we can't our currency stronger than theirs.

The Strait of Homuz disrupted oil 20% for the world, but disrupted 90% for Iran. While the world can find alternatives through the other 83 Oil selling nations, Iran is locked downed.




Oil price in UK was around 3 euros last year, still around 3 euros this year. Same in the US, But only California is selling oil for $5, that's because it's a democratic state against Trump.

For your information, USA is the largest oil producers in the world, Larger than Saudi Arabia and Russia combined, they've been the largest for 10 years

They are making huge profits because scarcity of oil increased the price of oil and they bought their oil at a much cheaper price than what they are selling it for.
