I don't know in which language I need to speak in order to explain to you that military and police are not the same. The notion of jurisdiction is nonsensical in the case of most soldiers. The notion of jurisdiction only appears when comparing different police units. For example the military police which performs police duties in military barracks, they do not have justification over civilian settlements unless an order gives them such jurisdiction. But in the case of ordinary soldiers, talking about jurisdiction makes zero sense. If a soldier is ordered to guard your neighbours house, he will do so. Please tell us which language you speak since you don't fully understand English. QuietMynd: |
Quietmynd, are you the one banning your opponents with the use of moderator privileges ? It seems winning an argument against you gets a person a ban. |
I have my personal reasons for liking Wike, I only think he was wrong in this instance. Him and all Nigeria's political class need to learn that they are SERVENTS, not Kings. They owe the average joe respect and they owe soldiers even more respect. I didn't follow the story about removing the governor of rivers. I don't know the facts, but if what some people are saying is true, then the removal of that governor is an other act of banditry by the president. Odunayaw: |
Once again. A minister is a civil SERVANT, not a King. Your brand of democracy is very strange. QuietMynd: |
In case you are unaware, all officers have at least a bachelor, I think NDA awards master's degree nowadays. That young officer most likely has a master's degree. QuietMynd: |
Rather than presenting logical arguments, you want me to just give up and start singing your praises 🤣 Are you ok dude? I've shown you that you were wrong. You seem confused and emotional. I've explained it all, but you want to continue arguing and you want me to just start singing your praises. 😓 I don't feel like addressing your comment point by point because it looks like it comes from the brain of a kid. You can do better than this. QuietMynd: |
No, everything is possible. The USA could invade in many ways, and the ressources are enormous. So very possible. Also, as I stated the USA could recruit a million soldiers inside Nigeria itself to do the invasion for the USA. Ethnic politics has brought Nigeria where it is: Extremely weak. If a world power wanted, it could easily take over Nigeria with the help of Nigerians. Who in Nigeria would fight against an invading force when the government is filled with just one ethnicity? Faithful007: |
Nigeria is not working well for everybody. The government only takes care of the kinsmen of the president. The kids of the president are using their father's office to extort money from traders... olaremint: |
There is a lot of Christian persecution in Nigeria |
He will be the first to remove his uniform and travel to Benin republic if usa declares war on Nigeria. Or better yet, he would be the first to start wearing USA military uniform and declaring allegiance to the USA if a war starts. Anyways, don't expect the rest of Nigeria to defend the privileges of a few ethnic groups. Kukutente23: |
Is this supposed to be a joke 🤣 you guys made Nigeria weak the day you refused to allow equal opportunities for every ethnicity. You filled the government with your tribesmen and yet you expect the rest of us to come and defend Nigeria ? Defend what ? |
Tinubu's greed and tribalism are the USA's greatest weapons against Nigeria. All the USA needs to successfully invade Nigeria is 2000 soldiers, some missiles and drones, within Nigeria the USA could recruit a million soldiers to fight alongside the USA marines. |
I don't need to waste my time talking too much with a man whose people migrated from bayelsa after colonisation. A beyelsan trying to claim he's indigenous to Edo-state and trying to rearrange Benin tradition 😂 In case you are not aware Mr outsider from bayelsa, the council of traditional rulers of Edo-state is called "Benin traditional council". Also, once again, the name Edo itself means people of Benin Kingdom. Enough said. Map of Africa, 1747, Emanuel Bowen 👇🏿

Yoruba supremacist moderators are at it again. I can't defend my tradition with evidence and logic without getting repetitively banned... Esan monarchs reminding outsiders like the guy above that the Oba is their father: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXWt2XBqJXk?si=iK15h3oID7zXfuHw |

1. There is no such thing as "iyeki-general" in Edo-state. 2. The Oba of Benin and Benin chiefs clearly stated that each iyeki is independent and reports directly to the palace. 3. Nobody was installed at a non existent position, there is still no such thing as "iyeki-general" of Edo-state. 4. In case you don't know, tinubu's daughter doesn't have any power at all, not political nor traditional. 5. That was a nice party, but whomever was inaugurated holds a position which is not recognised and doesn't exist in Edo-state. 6. You need to understand that your yoruba people don't get to come to my people's land and start bastardizing our tradition by "installing" this or that. You have no such power. seunmsg: |
You are really not very smart, are you ? Perhaps it's time to let go your political bitterness. While all you care about is to defend your political wallet, the Oba is defending Benin people, and instead of you to defend the people all you care is your own wallet and your stomach. Grow up. ThroneNGamez: |
The mods need to stop policing speech when tinubu's daughter is mentioned. For your information, neither tinubu nor his daughter are traditional rulers, they are mere commoners. There is no reason to protect them from criticism. The same mods don't protect actual monarchs from insults on nairaland. There is something wrong and corrupt with the way the mods behave. |
