Believe me, that Massey of a school is very funny, the way they treat our certificate as if you picked it up from one dunghill. Try Waikato or Lincoln, I am sure either of them would pick you. It also depends, if they offer the course you want to study.

Baba, me too o. I applied for their PhD with a master degree(distinction o. Almos 4.7/5.0). Then massey university told me i dont have enough CGPA in my postgraduate study. I wonder if they are looking for 5.0/5.0.

I believe so. The spgs peeps did state that a certain number of rooms would be set aside for each department, depending on the ratio of students admitted to department/total number of students admitted.

So, when I went online, I guess the slots allocated to MY department hadn't been filled up.

Then i guess non was allocated yo my department cos I'm yet yo meet a colleague who got allocated.

So after my 8-Hour long research in the town of Akoka, Community and Abule Oja as regards accommodation, I have gathered some infos:

There are 4 types of houses available for students.
1. Single Room
-Shared Bathroom/ Toilet,

-15minutes walking distance to the school. gate or #50 Keke napep fare.
Rent: starting from #100,000
Plus #80000 agreement/agency fee

2. Self-Contain
- Personal Toilet bathroom Kitchen
-15minutes walking distance to the school. gate or #50 Keke napep fare.
-BoreHole Water Supply
Rent: starting from #175,000
Plus #80000 agreement/agency fee
3. Two Bedroom flat( Can be shared between two students)
- Two toilets/Bathroom
-15minutes walking distance to the school. gate or #50 Keke napep fare.

Rent: starting from #300,000
Plus #80000 agreement/agency fee
4. Three Bedroom Flat(can be shared between 3 students)
Three Toilet and Bathroom
-15minutes walking distance to the school. gate or #50 Keke napep fare.

NOTE:
The prices may vary, as a result of;
1. Distance to the university
2. Quality of the facilites.
3. Or sometimes, greedy agents.

If u ask me, I think its pretty expensive, especially with the agent/agreement fee of 80k. I might just risk waiting for "Henri Carr Hostel Allocations", but in case it doesn't work out, you might opt for the alternatives above. Please in case you see any of these houses at cheaper rates, please I'm interested ooo

Not just your acceptance letter. All your credentials would be submitted at hall C. Four copies each of : bio data, course form, admission letter, acceptance letter, certificate, NYSC, payment receipt (online copy) , receipt for prospectus.....in that order in FOUR places
