We are going to be needing all the materials used in lesson 1 with the exception of some though and increase /reduction in measurement.

Go through the lesson 1 and get set for 2.


Review: just so you know, the formulation in lesson one can be termed a multipurpose liquid detergent. Meaning, it will perform or do very well when used for any cleansing purpose such as: dish wash, floor Cleaning, laundry, toilet wash etc.

However, if you desire to brand this into specific use, you will need just the knowledge of how each of the chemicals works. That way, you know what and what to add or reduce etc to deliver.

What You Should Know Before Starting Your Own Business

Quickly before we move on, there's really no big deal about starting or setting up your own business in any of these products.
Here are quick things you should note:



1. Practice and perfect the production: I am sure you know even without being told that you don't just jump into starting your business. You must first of all learn and perfect the production of any of the products of interest.

2. Don't be the judge: by this, I mean you don't judge your own product by your self. Give out samples to close friends and good neighbors and ask for their honest reveal on the product.

3. Be ready to take critism: I know how it feels when some people talk down your product. Oh, I know it hurts but the truth is you must be ready to develop a tough skin and prove your critics wrong.
Sometimes, such talks are deliberate moves by haters or ignoramus who don't even know how things work.

Just make sure you evaluate your product and ensure it's of great standard.

4. Get a packaging for your product: good packaging is a good business. How your product looks is how it will be priced. Be ready to get good and attractive packaging for your products. This aspect of the business is the common questions I get to treat every time. Trust me, nothing special or difficult about this.
Good containers and fine stickers bring out the beauty of your product.

Check the samples I posted below, they are just random products from NYSC Orientation camp...... produced and packaged by corp members for their exhibition after training.

Please, to those of us I promise to write on this, hope this is helpful enough. Read through and feel free to post your questions here, if any. I think that will be helpful to others with the same question instead of treating individual mails.

@ Strongest, the spoon you referred to in dish wash, is it tablespoon or teaspoon?

The spoon equivalent to 10mls. I think we have talked about this spoon thing here many times.


Anytime I say spoon, I am referring to the common white spoon used in take away foods. Or just think about 10mls, that is its equivalent.

If you are following this thread and have no special notes for this hmmm, you are not a good follower .


Get a special note, label it "cosmetology." remember, your soft notes can be lost but hard note can be preserved even for the next generation.

FORMULA 1: 5 LITRES OF DISH WASH AND LAUNDRY

1.Sulphurnic acid............1/4 litre

2. Texapon.....................4 spoonfuls

3. Caustic soda................1 spoon

4. Soda ash .....................10 spoons

5. STPP.............................2spoonfuls

6. Sodium silicate...............2spoons

7. Production perfume (ambepour and strawberry) ......as desired

8. Bicarbonate .....................1 spoon

9. SLS..................................2 spoons

10. CDEA (foam boaster is the local name).....10 spoons

11. Water based Colorant (optional) ........as desired


12. Water................5 litres

PRACTICAL


Step 1 : Turn the sulphurnic into an empty bowl

Step2: Add the texapon and stir properly

Step 3: Add 3 litres of water and stir properly


Note: now you have just 2litres of water left, divide the water into 5 parts and use each part to dissolve all the remaining solid materials just as below:

Step4: dissolve the caustic soda with one part of the water and add to the mixture and stir.

Step 5: dissolve the soda ash with another part of the water and add to the mixture and stir

Step 6: dissolve the STPP with another part of the water, add to the mixture and stir

Step7: dissolve the Sodium Bicarbonate with another part of the water, add to the mixture and stir

Step5: dissolve the SLS with with one part of the water, add to the mixture and stir


Step7: add the sodium silicate and stir

Step8: add the CDEA to the mixture and stir

Step9: add the perfume and stir properly. (remember to blend the perfume and also add enough, this will give your clothes a nice smell after washing them) .

Step9: dissolve the color with very little water (like 5 spoons of water) and add gradually to the mixture and stir till you get your desired color.


Finally, package for use.

NOTES:

- You observe we didn't make provision for the water we used in dissolving our colorant, that's because it does not require much water...so, 5spoons of water is very little and means almost nothing here.

- soda ash might need more water to dissolve compare to other chemicals, so when dividing your water into 5parts ensure to make that of soda ash higher. Caustic doesn't require much water to dissolve.

- make sure you allow each of the solid chemicals dissolve completely with no seed or grains left before adding to the solution.

-finally, note that there is no thickener used here so, don't expect a thick liquid detergent here. It is always not so easy introducing new idea or product to clients but the moment they use and see how effective this is, be sure they will keep coming for more.


That's all I can think of right now but if anything else I feel very important crosses my mind, I will add to the note ASAP.



This formulation gives you a rich liquid wash that cleanses your dishes properly and gives excellent performance in laundry.

This can also be used in mopping the floor, it will leave the house smelling very nice if your blend the perfume as instructed and add enough.

So let's start with cosmetics.


I will give us this simple liquid wash formula and we'll do a lot with it.

Remember your usual liquid wash comes thick because we always use a thickener e.g Nitrosol.

But let's shift from the conventional stuff and do something really interesting.



We will be alternating this formula to meet a lot of our needs in term of dish washing, laundry, tile cleaning, and other cleaning generally.


Let's begin with this first:

General cleaning formula that is dish wash, mopping of floors etc


Materials:

1. Sulphurnic acid

2. Texapon

3. Caustic soda

4. Soda ash

5. STPP

6. Sodium silicate

7. Production perfume (ambepour and strawberry)

8. Bicarbonate

9. Water based Colorant (optional)
As we proceed, we will be alternating of our formula to meet different needs.

The above two mentioned perfumes are the type I will recommend for this practical. We will blend /mix them together and use. You are going to love the feelings, I bet.

I will explain better when we go into practicals. Meanwhile, kindly try and get the above listed chemicals available and follow keenly while we do something very interesting. No much stress but great products.

OK, I seriously appreciate our zeal for new thing and I am very ready for us to go for the two: cosmetic and soft drink but I only have one serious challenge.

After dropping the formula, no feed back and no proof anyone tried. That really is a huge concern and sometimes wonder the essence of coming here to post.

Then funniest thing is, you later find the formula all over the blogs. It makes me feel funny.



Please, I want us to do simple stuffs so no one complain of money to get materials for production. If no feed back or evidence that at least 75% of produce then I will stop the free formula and continue with the sales of my ebooks only.

I have some of us here who are on my watsap one on one paid training and you know how impressed I feel seeing your products and most times we do even a lot more than you paid for, seriousness is always my drive.
