How many times I go talk say I meant 2.5 Billion and not million, abi u just like to talk too much? ![]() Rooneyboy: @ bolded |
Abeg help me tell them o. For some people, ignorance is the "new cool". Instead of researching, dem go just dey blab. My brother, u are mouthed okpara ugo: There are classes of private jets. Some are just sold for N2bn. Even MTN wants to give away a jet that costs only N200m. Dangote bought a jet in his class. |
If u read my first post, I never said they have a jet. For the benefit of peeps who did not see my earlier post. They got an agreement with a jet company. So for any international show, promoters must fly them in that jet as part of the criteria for coming for the show. That sort of arrangement comes with off course a discount because it is a service they would use regularly. Besto: nyc talk sha |
Bro, its one thing owning a jet, its another being able to to afford it. With a Kanye worth $160M like u said, he can buy a jet if he wants to. So calm down. P square no get jet but they can afford it! The have an agreement with a jet coy! natddon: P square aint all that. In fact no nigerian artiste is there yet. as big as dbanj was here he's now a boy to kanye. How rich is kanye west?he doesn't even have his own private jet. I would say at the very best$ 120m. If square were too rich they would not go to omole to build...they wld have gone to ikoyi to buy a mansion with history. Those peeps saying square got d jet r living in a restless esctacy |
Disclaimer: Hey peeps... I actually meant to write "Billion" instead of "Million". I thot u guys would have figured out on your own but some already resorted to throwing insults. Well I can see that's the only error in my submission. Now that it is corrected, I dare any of you to come out and contest the other points I raised and let me school the person a little. I don't say what I don't know. Both squareville and the new house they are building, I have been there. From my assessment, the worth of the interiors in squareville, furniture and electronics I can personally say is worth over 100M... A house that has 12 rooms and and 6 living rooms and a basement, all furnished to the teeth, wwith the basement serving as their fully digital and live studio is not a joke... Am not trying to sing the praises of the okoyes. And for the guy saying P-square no go fit afford a jet in 20yrs, I wonder if you have a good heart for you to make that sort of proclamation on a fellow man. How if someone told you you won't reach where the Okoyes have gotten to in your lifetime? Celebrate people who have achieved success in life and that's the same way you will be celebrated. |
Sorry... Meant Billion codernoni : |
I actually meant 2.5 Billion... It was a typo... Lol dennisbee: I thnk he meant $2.5m. And yes, you can get a small 2 or 3 seater plane for tht amount, especially a single engine jet. Just google it and u'll see. I dnt bliv he meant N2.5m cos tht cnt even buy sm cars. |
Chimooooo.... Sorry, I meant to write N2.5 BILLION.... Biko nu... Don't be vexed... How can a jet be 2.5 million na... Una for know say na typo.... Hahahaha queensmith: you lost credibility when you said p square can buy a private jet, thats bs- most international artists cant afford private jets (even after being rumored to make $80million a year) and no you cannot find a private jet anywhere for the cost of a used 08 toyota car, you are chatting absolute and complete bs. If jets were going for 2million the world will have one. damn i'll probably even have 2! |
Nairaland na real comedy club... See as we siddon here dey argue people money and they probably siddon for the jet dey laugh as we dey yab ourselves.... Lol. Anyways I go talk on 3 things. 1. The guy that says Naija Artists put together ain't worth $50Million ( abt N9 Billon). You really need to get out of your ignorance. It might interest you that Just Wizkid raked on almost 3billion for EME in the last year in excess of World Tours, Endorsements, Album Sales, Royalties, Awards etc. Remember he got an International PEPSI endorsement within this period. Go figure the amt that came with that. U never talk of Tubaba, D'banj, Don Jazzy, J-Martins, even this same bracket wey start yesterday. Be careful what you say in public. 2. On this Jet issue. P-Square don't OWN a private jet. Rather they have an arrangement with a Jet company. Now the deal is, for every international show, every promoter must meet the condition of paying that Jet Coy to fly them to the place as part of the general criteria for them coming to perform. I think it takes confidence in their art for them to do that. 3. on the actual worth of P-square, I can't give you the exact figures but those boys can buy a private jet if they want to. But they are wise enough to know they don't need it, at least not yet. There are private jets that go for as low as N2.5Million. P- Square apart from Music got investments. In fact they invest more than they spend, real estate especially. So those of you expecting them to come beg you for food in ten years... Sorry that won't happen. Those boys get BAR die. You need to see their new crib nearing completion in Ikoyi. Its something like the house on 50 Cents candy shop video with its own underground club. If you have had the opportunity to visit Squareville in Omole, its a joke compared to this new crib. Those boys are living their life and reaping the fruits of almost 10yrs active effort in the Nigerian music industry and deserve to enjoy their money. Abi na u wan spend am for them when they are gone? I don talk my own finish. And please no ask me how I know all these details... Let's just say am a guy that knows a lot of these celebs. |
Too bad... I hear he was trained as a pilot and sometimes, he even flies himself to America... What's a shame! Maybe a faulty plane!!! |
Its will always be a moment to remember for MBGN Tourism 2009 and Former Miss Tourism Africa 2009, Miss Diana Odiaka as she engaged to her heartrob, Mr Olufunsho Peters an I.T Solutions architect and CEO of Infinion Technologies limited. The pair who had dated for 9 months now got engaged in the most dramatic matter as Funsho proposed to the former beauty queen on the 27th of August 2012, just two days after her 24th birthday. According to a visibly excited Diana, "he had actually tried to do it on my birthday at the Federal Palace hotel, he had arranged a dinner but when he came to get me,I was wit my friend Nkiru Achukwu and didn't feel like stepping out so we ate in.". She went on to give an account of how her dream night came through like it was scripted in a manner typical of a Hollywood love story. "Every Monday is movie night for us, and as usual we were meant to hook up sometime after he gets off work, usually he comes back home to get me. But I had other plans with my friend Amaka, she's working on opening her spa in a couple of weeks and needed my help, so I was shopping with her. When we were done, I tried to reach Funsho but he wasn't picking up his cell, I assumed he was still in the meeting he said he would be in, Amaka and I were at city mall which isn't very far from his office so I decided to drive down. On getting there his car wasn't at the parking lot so I knew he wasn't back. We then left for the galleria as Amaka said she wanted to see a movie. Funsho called on our way there and we agreed to meet up at the galleria. We got tickets for "The watch" for 8:10pm and Amaka got a ticket for "Dark knight Rises" for 5:50pm. The time was 5:30pm, he and I had seen "Dark Knight Rises" already but instead of waiting around doing nothing we decided to go see it again till it was 8pm and time for our movie. Funsho said he was hungry and was gonna go get something to eat. Amaka and I then went into the screening room. Minutes later Funsho joined us, then he left again at about 8:07pm. When Funsho wasn't back, I left Amaka and headed out. Once outside I saw him talking with Tosin Olukuade (Facuade Clothiers) and Omena Daniels (Bloke Magazine). I said hello to them, gave him his movie ticket and he said he would get the popcorn and drinks that I should go ahead, so I went back into the screening room. The movie hadn't started, Ads were rolling, Tosin came in and asked me to change sits because Funsho had a headache and would have to be going in and out so I should sit at the edge so people don't get disturbed. I obliged him, he went back out, few seconds later Omena and Tosin came back in and sat down beside me, I asked where Funsho was and was told he was coming. I was trying to contact Amaka on my blackberry and only looked up when I heard a song on the sound system "Runaway" by the Corrs and saw on the screen "you have conquered the world with your beauty and charm and my heart along with it...", I was wondering if I was in then wrong screening room until when I saw my name on the screen "DIANA ODIAKA" my heart flipped, I turned to Omena and Tosin asking "what's going on? Where is Funsho?". Then again on the screen, I saw my pictures and the words "please make me the happiest man on Earth..." "...will you marry me?" people started screaming and clapping, the lights came on and Funsho walked down to where I was seated, knelt down and brought out the ring. I was so stunned, I was speechless, I was just staring at him until Tosin screamed "take the ring". I stretched out my left hand and he slid the ring in. We hugged and kissed, people were screaming and clapping and kept chanting "kiss....kiss....kiss"...we obliged. I was so overwhelmed. I am so very happy. It was then I discovered a few of my friends were involved in the planning. .Hossam and Ruby Dabbour (caliente), Angela Okparavero (angie's glam), Amaka Oguchi (miss commonwealth Africa), Francis Adeoye, Denrele Edun, Wale George (@walenut) Shola Ajayi ( @littleville of Reel Radio)". Diana is very happy as she proudly displayed her ring on her BlackBerry profile. The lovebirds will make an announcement for the wedding dates soon. So before u start insulting someone for being brainless, do a little bit of research instead of coming here to yarn opata. I have know this girl from her 100 level. While still in school, I organized the first ever pageant she won in her life and that was when she came into school as a Miss Fresh in 2008... Her BRAIN is one of her strongest force in competitions.... Some of you here are just so pathetic, you never see anything good from your own, instead of seeing how you can rally support for our own just as other countries are doing for their contestants, u spend your bandwidth and browsing time, seeking for the next person to insult. We all saw the MBGN finals. We all knew she was supposed to be crowned the winner and that was purely cos of her smartness. So don't come here and insult fine girls just because you don't have a girlfriend or sisters who are no where near as fine as they are. You just spoke like a typical illiterate African man who believes the life and times of an African woman begins and ends in the kitchen. I can also see you have an inferiority complex cos you are clearly scared of successful women who work hard to elk out a career for themselves instead of staying in your mud house and firewood kitchen, preparing Amala and Ewedu for you because na there your sense reach. Damiete Charles-Granville is a winner in anything she does and regardless if she becomes Miss World or not, She is a young girl I have always believed will make giant strides in life even from the first time I met her! For those who care to vote, plz visit the website below and leave at least a vote for her... It won't take you 2mins to do that Vote Nigeria's Damiete Charles-Granville of Nigeria for Miss World. Nepal got the highest Vote already. http://www.missosology.org/main/index.php/miss-world/miss-world-people-choice-vote.html GoodDay |

Fast rising multi-talented artist/Producer Wyfi has released his debut single “Put it on me”. The song which is self produced has a Pop feel with some touch of techno and features rap artist Chopper. It is very captivating song with interesting lyrical content especially for the ladies, guaranteed to bang any club. This is the first of series of singles he is set to release in the coming months. Full name Alexander Uwaifo, Wyfi is the son of Nigerian’s music living Legend Sir (Prof) Victor Uwaifo (MON), He joins the likes of Darey, Segun Obey </em>and Paul Play who have stepped into the shoes of their fathers, taking over from the legacy they left behind in the music industry. A graduate of Fine and Applied Arts who majored in sculpture from University of Benin, Wyfi started music as a rap artist as far back as six years ago while still in Kings College Lagos where he had his secondary education with the likes of LYNXXX and TeeKlef as set mates. However, going to university meant he had to put a hold to his music career. This had given him time to work on his music and brush up to becoming a better artist and also a producer, releasing a single while in school titled “Over my dead body” which gained good airplay in radio stations in Benin. According to Wyfi, “I had to take a break to go to school and of course, develop my art in writing and producing and I thank God that decision has paid off” Now out of school and announcing his official entry into the Nigerian music industry with this first single, prepare to hear a lot from him, both as an artist and a producer. Wyfi is currently working on the albums of some major Nigerian artists who he declined to mention. He says “You all should just wait to hear these songs when they come out as I am not in the position to divulge such information”. He is also working on a Mixtape titled “The Elevation” from his outfit VIBE MUSIC FACTORY which will feature a blend of already established artists and some underground artist whom he wishes to project.
