Sheffdon:
Now, to be honest, I just clocked 26. I was done with my sec. education way back in 2012. Due to one problem to the other, i couldn't further. I had to involve myself in some menial jobs to sustain myself for the meantime and along the way, i learned phone and computer engineering and i do brush through some very important books occasionally.

This is where I need your wise opinion guys. Dad got into a problem when i was about to finish sec. School and since then, hes been repaying debt till now. Infact, debt has consumed all his salary. He's just borrowing from peter to pay Paul to survive.

And he's still of the opinion that i go to school. I got admission to study pharmacy at OOU in 2018, paid the acceptance fee but couldn't pay school fees and i lost it for good. So he wants me to try again but where will he even see the money when school wahala comes again? He's gonna go the borrowing way again i guess; compounding the problem we have at hand

So I've been thinking....what if i go back to factory work, then get myself a computer and learn programming "frontend development for a start"? I want to dedicate atleast 1 to 2 years to learn it. Then after that, i would proceed to school either on part time or full because i still want to further my education to get the b.sc cert. at the minimum.

Honourable men and women, CONSIDERING THE NIGERIA OF TODAY, i need your wise words at this critical junction of my life.

If I'm done with the programming, can it atleast sustain me a little bit?

Should I faithfully follow my dad's intention or just go through my own plan?

Thanks
I see nothing wrong in pursuing both simultaneously as there is nothing that will hamper the achieving of them both aside lack of commitment from your end. School is necessary for survival in the 21st century but what will sustain You us the requisite skills that are you have and can show the world.

See both as what must be achieved together. Thank you

HealthRe: Why Do Nigerian Dentists Always Suggest Extraction? by stuff46(m): 10:06pm On Jan 09, 2021
gaeul:
I honestly don't know of it's Laziness or what but Nigeria Doctors always go for the last option which is Extraction.

They would rather opt for Extraction and would never suggest root canal treatment, even if a person have removed 4teeths, they will still opt for Extraction.

Most developed country would be happy to do all they can and when there is no way out again before they opt for Extraction. Keeping as much natural teeth as possible is the best, why then do Nigeria dentist always opt for Extraction?

Sadly, if you insist on restorative measures, the will tagged you stubborn patient. Tired much.
It is not only dentist, in all aspect of life really.
Nigerians don't like to pay attention to process and procedures that are long term.

Kalatium:
The double standard is why is only the man being probed. The woman should also be dealt with.

What the man did was terrible. However, the woman is majorly at fault.

The woman is also an accomplice. He got her pregnant not once but twice. And she kept the 2 children initially pretending it was her husband's own. That is paternity fraud.

If the law is to be involved both of them must face the wrath of the law.
My mind exactly

This time last year the complains here were for a younger age

Now the age has drastically dropped but we are still complaining.

One good thing today is that Lenglet should sit his ass out until he goes.

You can't tell a man how to spend his money

Come 2023, we would vote for PDP and APC, and then come and tell Oyedepo and Adeboye to bring $85 million for refinery

Max Aarons should be the target for that Rb slot sha, he is really solid defensively and good going forward.

With what I have seen of him, that boy is a gem.
PoliticsRe: El- Rufai: NBA Invitation Withdrawal Unfair by stuff46(m): 7:52am On Aug 21, 2020
Empty words sir.
Great and sound reasons were given for withdrawal of the speaking engagement but you deliberately have chosen to not only address the issues raised but have brushed them aside to God knows when.

I am happy the NBA made good use of redrawing right to discipline and calls made and hope Nigerians too deploy this means to political class who make such reckless utterances and are not saddened by what they have done.

deji17:
But how come those before Buhari did not build the infrastructure if it is not a big deal? This is why people appreciates him. Also saying thank you to someone that gave you service is actually not a bad idea. If you give Tailor your clothe to sew, and he did a good job, deliver on time, and after you pay him, you can still thank him for a job well done.

Things might have gone south. The Tailor might have not deliver on time. His sewing and design might be bad for you. He might have disappeared with your cloth etc.
A little show of gratitude is not weakness.
Eternal grateful??
Brother, if men were God!!!
PoliticsRe: Igbo Owe Buhari Eternal Gratitude, Says Arthur Eze by stuff46(m): 7:23am On Jul 06, 2020
The way we ascribe a necessity to very useless set of people is quite disheartening.

How is infrastructural building supposed to be a medium of eternal gratitude? God!!!

The same way I stepped into an office in a Northwestern state and I mentioned that I am a Katsina man (while my parents are from the Eastern part), the way the eyebrows were raised by 3 people in the room and the resounding No that followed scared me.

Mehn, this problem is not even a Government problem but a people to people problem. The thing is so deep that you will think there is no salvaging of this situation erh.
