usba: We will overcome, no matter the wishes of Bokoharam and its supporters on nairaland jubilate, their end is near.
Lol Let us share Jonathan Records that many fools want to foist on Nigeria:
1. Under Jonathan, Churches were bombed, no Christmas passed with out a church being bombed. Under PMB, no church has been bombed. It was so bad, that a Christian attempted to Bomb a church to try spoiling PMB record.
Do we want Jonathan's Nigeria where churches are bombed?
2. Under Jonathan, Nigeria Troops ran to Cameroon to avoid fighting BH, under PMB our Military has put BH on flight that even Shekua confessed that he is tired in a YouTube video?
Do we want Jonathan's Nigeria where our soldiers were scared to fight BH because of equipment?
3. Under Jonathan, BH occupied a territory the size of France and Belgium combined, under PMB all territory are fully recovered and denied space to operate freely.
Do you want Jonathan's Nigeria where BH occupied our territory?
3. Under Jonathan, BH attacked Police HQ, UN HQ, Eman and many places in Abuja and far from the theatre of war like suleja, Logo etc. PMB has curtailed their evil to largely Maiduguri and seasonally Yobe.
Do you want Jonathan's Nigeria were all the country lived in fear of BH?
These are just a few, when you see Christians saying they prefer Churches being bombed under Jonathan than none Under PMB then you know they are hedonistic fools whose greatest pain is no loot money. Are you not ashamed? |

Politics › Lai Mohammed To US: El-Zakzaky Detained For Crime, Not Religious Persecution by stuff46(op): 1:29pm On Dec 22, 2019 |
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has said the detention of leader of Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem el-Zakzaky, was “purely a criminal matter, which is being handled by a court of competent jurisdiction.”
The Minister said while the government accepted constructive criticism from any quarter, it “rejects any attempt to sow the seed of mistrust among the various religious groups in the country.”
Mohammed, on behalf of the Buhari regime, responded to a recent placement of Nigeria and six other countries on a special watchlist of states that engage in, or tolerate, “the severe violation of religious freedom.”
The Federal Government on Sunday rejected the designation, describing it as “misleading.”
According to the government, the United States “fell for the antics of the discontented and the unpatriotic few” who will not hesitate to hang Nigeria out to dry on the altar of their inordinate ambition and their sheer animosity towards the regime of the President, Major General Muhammdu Buhari (retd.).
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, in a statement issued in Abuja, said the deliberate effort to give religious coloration to the farmer-herder clashes and, in particular, the Boko Haram insurgency in the North East, had undoubtedly helped to mislead the US.
While describing the “iniquitous tag” as stemming from “an orchestrated narrative that has long been discredited,” he said the good people of Nigeria enjoy unfettered freedom to practise their religion.
Mohammed blamed the tag on “failed politicians and disgruntled elements — some of them supposedly respected leaders — for latching on to religion as their trump card, especially in the run up to the 2019 general elections.
He said it was “unfortunate that the US fell for the antics of the discontented and the unpatriotic” few who will not hesitate to hang Nigeria out to dry on the altar of their inordinate ambition and their sheer animosity towards the Buhari regime.
The minister said the Nigerian government was acutely aware of how the political opposition, in particular, had spared no resources in deriving political capital from the various security challenges in the country.
The statement reads in part, “The deliberate effort to give religious coloration to the farmer-herder clashes and the Boko Haram insurgency, in particular, has undoubtedly helped to mislead the US into concluding that the government is doing little or nothing to guarantee religious freedom in the country.
”But, as we have always said, the farmer-herder clashes have
nothing to do with religion but everything to do with environmental
and socio-economic realities.
“The religious tag given to the clashes has no basis in fact, but is very convenient for those who will very easily give the dog a bad name just to hang it.
“On its part, the Boko Haram terrorists are extreme fanatics who do not subscribe to the tenets of any religion, in spite of their pretence to Islamic adherence.”
Mohammed said the good news was that the Buhari regime had
succeeded in curbing the farmer-herder clashes through the
implementation of proactive and multi-dimensional strategy, “which is yielding remarkable results, just as it has largely defeated the Boko
Haram insurgency.” https://punchng.com/lai-mohammed-to-us-el-zakzaky-detained-for-crime-not-religious-persecution/

IAmStrange: How about you help her curb her excesses?
What exactly is she doing? How about you try to install the values of self worth, empowerment and independence in her then you try to help her find something worthy that she can be doing to earn money, to build on her character and personally and to pass time?
And then, try sitting her down and explain to her the dangers of craving for too much attention. This approach could solve the whole thing.
Some people have bad habits but they have not fallen into situations or being in an environment or around people that can make them know that habit is bad. So they don't know and if someone were to advise them, they could change.
Sit her down, tell her how much you were offended by what she did and advise her concerning craving too much attention.
And doing this coupled with doing what I suggested above can help solve those two problems you have with her.
But all the same use your sense and open your eyes. A very different perspective I've seen all through. The fact still remains that they are two -disjointed people who share different ideologies. Although, realisation has set him to understand that he has attained a level of taking over a part of his life (Entrepreneurship), he can as well move to that self actualization. Dialogue with her on what her priorities are for the time being, if they are not as yours, find a level playing field by convincing her. If that fails to work out, pay more attention to what you want. A failed and broken r/ship is better than a broken marriage. Take time, take time, take time to explain to her and whatever she wants to do, let her take the road. Loving her is a choice you choose, unloving her is another choice. Gracia |

24kmagic: First off, you can't compare because one person can vote multiple times in bbn, because it will count.
Has your votes ever count? If you think queuing up to cast a vote in a Nigerian election counts then you must be an idiot. It doesn't count, it has never count.
Mention one thing run by the government of this country that has ever been free, fair and successful? Even if the whole youths decided to vote against Buhari in the last election, it was glaring he won't relinquish power. Buhari wasn't going to let anybody in.
Anytime you so called intellectuals are talking about happenings in a country, consider the country you are talking about first.
Why can't INEC introduce electronic voting? Why must it be paper and pen? Is it not because they want to manipulate? You try to protest they shoot you dead.
Discredit bbn all you like but never try to compare it with situation of things in this country because I can promise you Nigeria is beyond redemption. Not even in a billion years time will Nigeria work.
When did BBN start? I think four years ago. Before the coming of BBN, how was things in 9ja?
Is BBN the cause of the backwardness in Nigeria?
You anti-BBNaija should just fvck off abeg
PS: I don't watch BBN. Our problem has not been to vote, our biggest problem is the mindset that drives us to the voting. Don't always try to assume, my brother vote first and monitor your vote at the polling unit then see if it won't change something. Patience to wait# |

gracegrace668: I've read about my condition, especially at times when I swear I would never indulge in excessive drinking anymore. A person like me is called a functioning alcoholic. I started drinking as a way to forget some emotional and troubles but as I see, this in no way helps especially longterm.
I drink everything from wine, spirits to liquor. I go out with friends that drink. I go out to drink alone. I buy some alcohol to drink at home. I go from laying on the bed to walking out to buy alcohol. I just drink, drink and drink. I'm very ashamed of this. Sincerely, I want to stop. I want to make more meaningful decisions and relationships. 1) The first point to everything actually is to accept the fact that you have got a problem and I believe as you have done that, you should not worry about getting over it because it will be a thing of the past within a few month. I really appreciate the fact that you just accepted the problem, you will overcome this aspect of your life that you are not proud of. 2) The point here is that you found your PEACE in drinking which is not encouraged. Morality has made it be that a female should not be this when so I believe there are other things that can serve as your peace not exactly drinking. More productive time should be channelled to it. As part of it, I believe some other part of your life will be suffering since the drinking is excessive so I'll advice you improve your timing to accommodate more of the suffering part and decrease the times you use for drinking. 3) As a fact, decrease the chances of being with the friends that make you drink. Less of them will help you. 4) Avoiding having excess cash you don't have need for as it is a great factor that makes you buy them yourself. 5) Discipline yourself to moderately or completely stop drinking. It might take time but you can go on a downward spine of what you drink as the days go by, say from 12 bottles to 3 then you go down to 1 and then you can completely stop. On the flip side, don't just say you are stopping today, you might not be able to handle it except on a strong determined will and Grace. 6) STOP BUYING DRINKS TO YOUR HOUSE I believe with Gods assistance and your input, you will be able to accomplish your desires. Thank you. |

Hamid7: While I agree that Allegri isn't a good option, I believe Koeman is. He played under Cruyff. Players who mastered Barcelona philosophy have always thrived on their return as coach, though they may not have been successful elsewhere. Frank Rijkaard( he wasn't an ex Blaugrana though) was a failed coach before he was appointed coach of Barcelona he excelled because Barca play a brand of football he was familiar with. Same with Luis Enrique. Pep only coached Barcelons B before his promotion. Vilanova was an assistant to Pep before his appointment, and he would have done better if he wasn't down with and on treatment for cancer. If I'm the president, I will appoint a post cruyffian as coach Koeman has diviated from the traditional Barcelona culture on his coaching career.... Along the line this season, our signings were touted as the best around Europe but going down the road, i actually can't fathom how we went this bad this season.
One thing the coach actually cant handle back is integrating injured players back to team after some time out. Considering that Umtiti was the bet thing we had earlier last season, Aurthur coming good until he was sidelined and also Dembele of Last season.
I feel we should move behind him as there is no new thing he adds to the team. The best thing as we expect additions and not to actually make our buys look bad as he plays them.
For me, expect from players like Rafinha, D. Suarez, Gomez, Munir, Cillissen and others, there should not be any out from the main squad. All loan players should pack out and go.
We should be able to win more than league with the squad and a NEW COACH......
