I saw obviously you mentioned him as one converted but the way you hyped the man, it was as if he fared well in the DM throughout his time. Apparently, one that was converted and made a name for himself isn't what that you made him look like. Compare, Busque has been all round in the DM for ages and doesn't mostly have eye for goal like Sammer. Idealy, Sammer might have rendered the attacking Midfielders jobless in team.

Anybody who knew Sammer well knew him before he played Libero and will remember his as a Defensive Midfielder right from even when he played in the 1987 U20; and his pattern of play never changed.

He made his first team appearance as a centre forward when his father was coach so what are you saying?

Sammer was a Defensive Midfielder who converted into a Libero (which to some is a Central Defender, to others a Withdrawn Defensive Midfielder). If you are just hearing about Sammer, then I can guess where you are coming from.

1. You should n't be surprised cos as a DM once you lose possession or not protecting his defenders, your central defence will have little chance against fleet-footed, intelligent attackers/ goal poachers hungry on a counter.
2. I pasted ratings that showed that he was the one responsible for opponents getting back into games to earn one or three points which were not supposed to be as the world best dm.
3. However, there are still matches barca won and your so-called dm played poorly defensively and got criticised by experts. But thanks to other great players who came to the rescue scoring crucial goals to erase his technical errors.
4. Valdes got to man utd and his incompetence was clearly exposed and relegated to u-21 team. Busquets is next.

Show me a DM that has achieved Busquet's feet in his entire career since he was incorporated into the first team. You cannot jusify such stands as there is none. If he isn't covering much shield to the team, why are Barcelona's managers after Pep not clamouring for his axing in the first team. Like I said earlier, each member of a squad has a lot of contribution to the team. If busquet hasn't been good all while, why haven't he been displaced from the Spanish National team since his integration. My bro, zero your mind and see through the struggles of a nigga. Many DM have been bought to Barca and none has played more than 10match in that position without having question mark (Ranging from Song, Rakitic, Mashe, et al). They don't fit into the Setting of the Barcelona football in the Dm and have not been able to offer better competition or selection for the coach. It is better to start accepting the fact that he is the best of his time and move on with life cause all the above mention Matic, M. Schnederin, F. Coquelin and co. Haven't played top football and lasted more than a season that I have watched. I am still waiting on them to play better in coming years and try to displace Busquet as the best.

NB: If after all these point you still aren't convinced and confused that Busquet is a World Class DM I will recomend Uta Pia Pia. (It is just 20naira if you don't have the money, go dmcdad will give you)
