Major Kaduna Nzeogwu did not do anything heroic because he only betrayed and murdered his benefactor and his wife.
Major. Kaduna Nzeogwu was raised by late Sir Ahmadu Bello and he had been entering the house and mixing with the family of Sir. Ahmadu Bello long before he entered the army. This is because Nzougwu's father was a gardener in Ahmadu Bello's house and he was well treated. It was Sir Ahmadu Bello that took Chukwuma Nzougwu as a son and put him in the army after he had northernised the young man. Chukuwuma Nzougwu on Ahmadu Bello's request used a northern slot to enter the army.
