On January 17th 1966, Major General Aguiyi-Ironsi assumed power and appointed four military Governors to govern each of the four Regions Nigeria was then made up of at the time. They were:

Lt Col Adekunle Fajuyi- Western Region

Lt Col David Ejoor - Midwest Region

Lt Col Chukwuemeka Ojukwu - Eastern Region

Major Usman Katsina - Nothern Region

All 4 men governed their respective Regions with Ironsi as military head of State until July 29th 1966 when Ironsi and Fajuyi were killed. Gowon would take over, and replaced the dead Fajuyi with Colonel Adebayo. The four Regions would continue until May 27th 1967 when Gowon abolished all 4 Regions, and replaced them with 12 states. This action would make Ojukwu declare the Eastern Region as the Republic of Biafra

Whenever anyone tells you that Ironsi abolished the Regions, ask them what Regions were Fajuyi, Ojukwu, Katsina and Ejoor were governing the day Ironsi died

And yes, Nigeria runs a unitary federal system which put all critical power to the central, so that is why all eyes dey the central govt. The president decides everything that affect us including our governors. That is why people like us who are reasonable are demanding for true federalism so that we can hold governors accountable.
U cant expect me to hold my governor accountable when I am kidnapped because the security 100 percent power lies with the president. he alone appoints the security heads and calls the shot. This is not ideal in countries like Nigeria, most countries have semi independent regions or state but Nigeria has vowed to remain centralized, major reason it is a total failure. I went to vulcanizer to guage my tyre. he told me some 3 tyres were 35 and one was 40 I think so. Then I told him to make all 45...

After he was done. I noticed something was not right because it's feel like I don't have shocks on bad and uneven road.

The next day I stop at another vulcanizer and told him to quage my tyres he told me all of them 50. Then I told him to bring all down to 45 and also check all my tyres if they are okay. He showed to me the one I already known before was bad (that tyre cut threads). So I planned to change that tyre that same week. Although he said I can still manage it and nothing will happen.

There was alot difference from that moment when I drive. Then I went straight to Jumia to order my personal guage but there was some delay due to the protest. Meanwhile before it arrives I went to change the bad tyre and told the to make it 45 and guage the others

He told me all 45. But when my guage arrive and I gauge all my tyres and they are all 40.

40 is not that bad. But if looks like they are using inferior guage that local one.
