He even renamed the Ebonyi airport after Buhari but Buhari with his penchant for identifying sycophants, asked Umahi to rename the airport after late Chuba Okadigbo but Umahi refused to do so. Umahi also rallied the Southeast governors to name the second Niger bridge "Muhammadu Buhari Bridge" but Buhari declined to do so.
