The shortest short story I have ever read. I liked the theme though, add flesh to it and resend. And cut off the excessive character names, it's a short story, you can develop it with fewer characters.
Okay. I will.

PoliticsDiarisgod Ooo’ Video Tops Youtube Most Watched In 2014, See Others by styless(op): 11:47am On Dec 15, 2014
The video showing First Lady Patience Jonathan break down in tears (AKA Diarisgod ooo) has topped a list of Top 10 Videos watched in Nigeria in 2014 (Non-Music), as rated by YouTube.

The hugely viral video, ‘Chibok Girls: First Lady Breaks Down In Tears’, published in May, topped the list in a report released within the week entitled ‘YouTube Rewind: Top videos watched in Nigeria in 2014′.

The report read: “As an eventful 2014 comes to a close, it’s time to take our annual look at the videos, moments and channels that shaped our year.

“The 2014 list which includes the biggest viral hits from the most popular channels in the country show that individuals and teams from Nigeria’s creative industries have recognised, and are taking advantage of the growing power of trending videos to drive pop culture like never before”.

‘Chibok Girls: First Lady Breaks Down In Tears’ beat other news-related videos like ‘Arik Air’s flight from Hell’ and ‘Nigeria girls ‘shown’ in Boko Haram video’ to 9th and 10th positions.

In the video, the Nigerian First Lady, Patience Jonathan, broke down in tears during a meeting with stakeholders from a school in Chibok, Borno State, where some over 200 schoolgirls were abducted in April.

It is the second year in a row that news-related content created by Channels Television would go viral, and into the Top 10 list after ‘Oga at the Top’ became 2013’s number 2 most watched video.

YouTube also published videos in other categories.

A look at Nigerian music favourites for 2014 reveals that while Nigerians joined the global community in catching Nicki Minaj’s ‘Anaconda’ bug, it is music from top Nigerian stars that kept us dancing through the year.

Topping other equally popular videos like ‘Dorobucci’ by Mavins, ‘Wanted’ by Tiwa Savage, ‘Ikwokrikwo’ by Flavour and ‘Surulere’ by Dr. Sid to become the most watched musical video in Nigeria in 2014 is the widely popular track ‘Aye’ by Davido. Note-worthy is the fact that ‘Anaconda’ was the only track on the list that is not Nigerian.

Globally, the world watched the Mutant Giant Spider dog more than 110 million times, making it the top trending video of 2014. First Kiss, iPhone 6 bend test and the recently released 10 hours As A Woman In NYC which sparked off a ‘Walking As A Woman’ series on YouTube are some of the other videos that made it to the list.

In the category that Channels Television’s video topped, ‘Helen Paul Gets Her Deliverance After Jim Iyke’ stood at number two while ‘No Man Can Resist My Body… – SATANIC SEDUCTION’ was at the third position. Below are a list of the videos as published by YouTube.

Some say that I am gay, some have called me a gay, crazily some think I’m a transvestite.

Some will swear I’m bisexual, hummmmmm.

My Sexuality has always been a subject of great scrutiny and misconception ever since I can remember, and I have had a ball if I say so myself. Na today? E don tey!

My parents saw pepper. When I was barely 10 years old, my baby nurse was caught tampering with me sexually. Chineke! A practice that pleasured me even though I didn’t know what the heck to do. When we were caught by my mother, needless to say how livid she was. My God! Come and see! She beat the living hell out of my baby nurse. I didn’t even know my mum knew karate and judo then. No be small thing.

By the time I turned 12, I was disvirgined by a local LovePeddler who dashed me my first STD. The discomfort I experienced was very scary, it was as if my kini was on fire. Kai! I confided in my Mama, who took it upon herself to further frighten and scare the living day light out of me, telling me how sex is so bad and dangerous. Did that frighten me after I was cured? For where? From there on, girls were getting pregnant around me like they were all catching cold. The more I was beaten up by my father and scared shitless by my mother for my waywardness, the more stories of pregnant girls all over the bloody place grew, it was amazing though it wasn’t funny.

While my mates in secondary school were busy being good children, reading their books, I was busy fornicating all over the place getting girls pregnant. It was incredible when I come to think about it now. Yesoooo, I was catching my fun with reckless abandon while my parents prayed for my deliverance because, chaiii, I spoil from belle, no be today.

By the time I was 16yrs old I had my first baby. Of course, not to be seen as a cursed child, I denied any knowledge of ever knowing the woman at the time, who usually were all older than me, some by 10 years. All I could chorus at that time was that famous tune by Shaggy, “It Wasn’t Me”.

By the time I turned 19, my mother in her wisdom talked me into getting married early. I went along with the programme, for me I saw it all as legally having a free supply of p….sy, endless sex. Which one be my own. That marriage failed before it kicked off. I was just too young and immature to understand what I was getting myself into. That’s how I ended up marrying three times, experimenting with different women before meeting my present anointed wife, lady Diane.

It has not been all that bad because I can now see how severely wanting to be me has brought me miles ahead of my peers and age mates.

Now I smell like someone who was always ahead of his game. My first son is about 46yrs old now, an associate professor at MIT in Boston Mass., USA. Then it was taboo for a young man of 16 to be making babies. Right now my people, it’s a blessing, and I thank God daily. I have nine kids and 14 grandchildren. I have had my fill God knows, but the hardest thing was the discipline I had to employ when I built the larger than life Image that is CharlyBoy.

There were girls everywhere, crawling from between the cracks in the walls, young girls, not so young, old and not too old, married women, red Indians, white, black, green. There were more women around me, God! I don’t even know how I coped. Thanks for all that I have learnt as a Buddhist. The art of conquering one’s body, controlling my desires and not allowing it to gain dominion over me. At first it was difficult, but the more I chased the truth in the line of clean living, I started to develop a more beautiful soul. It was only discipline, courage, wisdom and the blood of Lady Diane that helped me survive attacks from all them women. The harder they came the harder they fell. I chased the chasers. No be small tin.

The controversial stunt and hype of being gay was my unorthodox way of beating off most of the women hanging around me, it was becoming ridiculous. As the hype gained momentum most of the women left me to myself, feeling that my sexual preference was different. The fact that I was able to act with restrain made me powerful. I can’t really explain it, but I felt godlike and I knew I had come of age.

As I matured through the journey, I started to feel more in control of my erection and emotions. But, no thanks to the gay thing, I have always been as straight as a pencil and even if I was, why would I ever hide it. I send anybody? Me, Charlyboy, 007, license to do anyhow. Long story short, it discouraged a lot of women from hanging around, since I couldn’t beat them off. Oh! I played my part very well as Charlyboy. The ghen-ghen tins abi? I’m really good at it, believe me.

Just in case I’m losing you, or have managed to confuse you, please get your mind out of the gutters. I’m talking about discipline here, not indiscriminate sex. I’m talking about the need for grownups to live a more disciplined life, having more respect for your kini and your body. I may have been a bomb as a teenager, but, my brother, now I know better how to honour and respect my body. Gbam!

DanWrites:
It is very saddening when people copy your work, use it and get all the credit.
Writing is one of the hardest things to do. Most writers don't sleep at night.
Since I posted The Village Girl on Nairaland, many story blogs have copied the original story, fronting it as theirs. Only a few of them sought my consent before using the work and I had given them conditions under which they were to do so.
This same thing happened when I posted Ola here. That one was crazier even.
Actions like this dampen the spirit of coming writers like me. I paid for all the personal development I put in to get to this place. I attended several writing workshops, most of them I paid heavily in cash to enrol in.
I am a journalist but creative writing and journalistic writing are way too different. I put a lot effort in developing my characters before winding them through a seamless plot to achieve a readable story.
Since I threw submissions open on my blog for story entries, of all the tens of stories we receive each day, only a tiny few would have potential. Because it is not easy.
Please, I beg of you, if you have posted any of my stories on any blog, for the sake of morals, just go there and credit me as the original writer of the story.
Also put a link to my official blog - http://danwrites90..com
God Bless.
It is my mistake, I should have opened a blog a lot earlier than now.
Thank you all.

Shebi I told you that time that someone was using your story. Don't be too sad, on the brighter side, ppl only steal something that is too fine for them to afford. So chill but please don't stop writing o. And why is my comment not showing on your blog?

CrimeBREAKING: Soldiers Clash With Students Again At The University Of Jos by styless(op): 12:10pm On Nov 26, 2014
Soldiers in Jos are presently clashing with students of the University of Jos.

The institution had been closed down Tuesday after several students had been injured when soldiers from the Special Task Force (STF) opened fire on the students protesting a hike in their school fees.

After the order for students to vacate the school, some stayed back. This resulted in soldiers ransacking the students’ quarters and throwing several out. EKEKEEE reporter in Jos states that shots were fired Wednesday morning by the soldiers who came in with tanks to dismantle barricades set up by the students.

The students were being chased into neighbouring villages as at the time of filing this report.

No casualties have been reported yet.
