Uchihasasuke19:Kindly pm your email address, so that i can send my number to be added to the group if it is not too much to ask. Thanks |
@kunlesteel Please have you received a response yet? Waiting for the same thing...it's my assumption that it might not hold because of the public holiday. Please correct me if i am wrong. Meanwhile who needs a medical appointment with Qlife, i have a spot that i am willing to give out. I already did mine with IOM. Good afternoon, all. Concerning the Planning for Canada session... Last month, I was given available dates to choose from, and I chose the 20th of this month. No feedback or correspondence since then. Please, for those that have attended the session, is this normal? Should I not have received a confirmation mail stating venue, date and time?
|

Congrats to all successful visa applications, all successful POEs entry, to all mothers and fathers for our LO's , also to all preggers..... e ma so layo o.....loruko Jesu. And to all waiting on the Lord, May God satisfy your innermost heart desires speedily! Amen! I went, saw and conquered. Operation mission accomplished..... I had a scheduled CS with Dr E and my bills remained the same, except of course for NICS and Brown n associates. NICS discounted to $419.98(I still don't get the change in prices) Brown and associates discounted to $81.02 I eventually sorted my toddler's ticket with Airfrance by paying $1,500.50 at the airport after being told by an uninformed customer rep to add him to my mum's ticket from the Houston to Paris leg, then pay the difference of fare for Paris to Lagos leg (lesson learnt...... please read the airline requirements before purchasing not minding the information given to you by their customer service. Thank you to everyone for your help and to those who contacted me privately.... I appreciate you too. Thank you. To accommodation, please shine your eyes well especially for the seemingly not-so-expensive accommodation that eventually allows you spend more on transportation.....I stayed at a shared apartment with my bathroom n toilet, only shared kitchen and living room, the distance to the clinic was 28-32 mins depending on traffic(in houston, that was far!) I ended up spending the savings I got on accommodation on transportation and even more! Please take accommodation really close to the clinic like about 10-15mins. I met and kept contacts of some wonderful mothers turned sisters at the clinic who stayed in places like 10-15mins, and really made sense with pickup services(if required) I don't know if it's fine to put up contacts here, before Justwise raptures my post. |
Nogen: Nogen:Thanks dear. I am on it. Asking around and pray God finds me worthy of the favour. What did you eventually do last year August? How are the threes? |
LI:My first avenue for finding someone before d day is here o dear. My second avenue is by word of mouth, which I have been making jjudicious use of. |
bbaby84:Hubby coming to get us is not part of my option, as his work wouldn't allow him, meanwhile his visa has expired. I forgot to state that Mum would be travelling with me from Houston to Paris leg, but she would be going to Manchester and not Lagos, and the ticket she has is non-reroutable.Another expensive option is to get her a ticket to Lagos and one way to Manchester. As per luggage I dnt need to attach baby's luggage to a potential traveller on Jan 29. Hubby had gone with most of my luggages....I only have 2bags travelling with me (my two kids things inclusive). All the options I am getting are rather expensive. Is there anyone traveling on this date in the house or you know someone? Pls!!!! |
Flying with 2 infants, now that will be really stressful.... most airlines hardly fly an adult with 2 infants but I would recommend you call there US office again and ask for a reduction of price but if dey refuse jejely pay or hubby can come n assist you back home cos the price they are calling can get him a cheap ticket too....my 2 cent @kaakaa Thanks dear. I called and said I would like to include my baby to my ticket, the lady asked for my ref code which I gave her, and all she said was to include an infant the cost is $305.60. I want to assume that she saw my details on the system after giving her my ref code I.e. an infant already attached to my ticket, but she made no mention of what the other person said the other day. Now I am confused, if I go ahead and pay but get to the airport and I am being held up unnecessarily because of what the initial person had said. Someone advised i get to the airport very early on my date of departure(Jan 29th) and sort for someone travelling to Lagos and ask to attach my baby's ticket with the person. Any ideas? Please help people. I am running out of time. |
I need some information from the house, but first I would like to share my experience thus far. I joined this forum in 2013, went through El paso' route for my first. Good experience! Since then I have been on a passive mode, not for anything but because I couldn't log into my former account, probably due to inactivity(don't know). Anyway fast forward to 2015, another delivery journey- so I took to reading again and found out about Oakbend, Dr E et al (after discovering Dr Martell had refused to take us). Flew Airfrance at 35wks5days. Had a smooth entry at Houston POE, came with hubby and my 21months old daughter ( it was actually a breeze), came with foodstuffs (thankfully nothing was seized). Gave birth to a gorgeous baby boy through a scheduled Csection at 39weeks with Dr E. Presently at the documentation lap. Now to my question, I called Air France to include my baby to my ticket. And I was told I already had an infant attached to my ticket , and that I had two options(which are rather on the high side) (1) To convert my daughter' ticket(which was attached to my ticket from Lagos, being an infant) to child fare($705) and attach my boy to mine ($150.65) or (2) Leave my daughter's as it is, and purchase a child fare for my boy ($1,465.06) PS 1: DH has travelled back to Naija PS 2: DH went to their Lagos office to do the purchase, and he was told there that our best bet is to handle it from US, as they don't add two infants to a mother's ticket, hence my call to US Airfrance. Someone with similar experience? Pls help as I have limited time to settle this. #apologiesforthelength# Thank you in advance. |
