Good afternoon people.

Just a small question (may sound stupid though but no vex pls).

Does maintaining your maiden name passport affect your visa chances?

Thanks.

IMHO, I would advise you start counting your 6 months from July (Month after his unpaid leave). It is better to be safe than sorry. I would advise you to zero your mind to applying this August and just put your mind to January 2019 (while making sure hubby works fully for the 6 months with payslips to and bank statements as proof) i.e no to unpaid leave for the 6 months.
By January 2019, his 6 months would start from July 2018.
Okay, thank you

You must submit 6 months payslip, with huge emphasis on the '28 day rule'....

A recent applicants husband earned above the £18,600 requirement, he omitted one month's payslip.

Guess what happened?

You guessed right....... And a note was included in the rejection letter about the omission. They have had to fully apply again, paying the visa all over again.... Enough said...
Okay, thank you

Good afternoon everyone. Thank you for this informative thread.

Please, I have a question about the six months payslip requirement.

I intend to start and submit my application in August. However my husband may not be able to provide payslips for May and June because he was on unpaid leave.

Do I still present six months payslips from July/June to February/January (If the 12 months gross is above 18,600 GBP) or present six months payslips from April to November last year?

Thanks

Omidancrafts: Yes they accept both. During my AC, I asked them which dey preffered. According to them in Nigeria to become chattered, u have to have gone through ICAN. They don't object ACCA, bh for them to recognize u as a chattered accountant you have to do ICAN because you need to be chattered before you become a manager.
Thank you...God bless you

armadeo: from the above i assumed you grew up in or around LUTH, I have been to many hospitals in the country and many are outstanding in terms of professional hands not just luth. There are also many private clinics in lagos that can take on Luth anytime.

its not a delibrate effort to keep machines spoilt thats where the govt comes in, am not going to use my money to fix hospital property am I?

Rich people in the wards yes, they are they but i can categorically tell you that many of them are in private clinics not teaching hospitals.

my main issue is your statement of diversion of patients to private clinics i have worked in both and i can assure you that MAJORITY of patients in govt hospital cannot afford a private clinic.
Guy! the truly rich people go abroad for their treatments and I said I speak from EXPERIENCE, so please 'shuh'
