torchwave: the world...nay...the universe has not produced any king equal to Him, much less greater than Him. He is not just the King of Israel; He is the King of the whole world and the universe. I doubt anyone can measure up to Him in stature of greatness and royalty - no one.SweetDelirium |
Lol..I love that king

emmyskies: Don't ever trust your pastor but try the Bible. Always compare the preachings and doctrines of your pastor to GOD's word in the Bible. Truely I tell you this day, churches are now gateway to hell as christians have become dancers at the gate of hellSo who are the bouncers? |
deebrain: No. i trust Jesus Christ. If angels themselves could sin, how much more a man like me-despite being called? He (the pastor) is anointed to be an instrument. He is not anointed to be a saint.Uhm..christains. Why the comparison between man and angel, thought your bible said he(man) is greater than the angels? Also, when you define saint according to the bible, you see your last 2 sentences are contradictory. |

OLAADEGBU: Do you object to the point of the OP? The thief you are referring to was repentant if you consider the following points:Using proverbs 28:13 as a reference, I am happy that in the 8 points you listed, you dint write he confessed his sin to jesus. Please ehn, maybe you should read verse 41-42 again of that ur book. And please stop twisting scriptures... Thanks |
Weah96: Your problem is language comprehension, I swear. First, are you referring to my definition or the one you just copied from Google? Because in mine, I included the word "seemingly" and the poster who followed included "seems." Fair minded observers here can see the immense difference between what I wrote and what you're writing. To answer your silly question, that IS the meaning of supernatural. The minute you understand how it's possible, it then ceases to be labelled as supernatural.Guy you should already understand some people |
FOLYKAZE: Another one here.I love your reasoning |

ebamma: e be like say na only u been see this one oh?,Baba, I tire o |
OLAADEGBU: Of course, the thief was repentant. He saw and heard the first two words from the mouth of our Saviour on the cross (See Luke 23:34; Jn 19:26) which brought conviction and conversion. He confessed and forsook his sin and therefore received mercy.I am not sure you read your write-up. Also there wasn't any record of him confessing his sin to jesus. That he admonished his partner doesn't mean he wouldn't go back to the sin. Then conversion to jew or what?there is no record of that also |
Good. So from your illustration, how sure are you that it was a consequence of the man laying his hand on your neighbour's leg that she got up? Also what proove do you have that it wasn't a result of her own faith? Did she tell you that she had faith in god that she would be healed or in the man? You have to understand the concept of faith outside religion to appreciate its beauty. |
Weah96: I didn't say it, he did. Don't know why he didn't just say NO.Lol |
[quote author=OLAADEGBU]Question: "What is the mystery of God referred to in the Bible?" Answer: the mystery of God is Man: “My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Man, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge”. A “mystery” in the New Testament is something that had at one time been hidden but is now revealed. The mystery of Man’s will is that “which he purposed in god, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under man” . There is an understanding of God apart from a personal relationship with His Son. Man is the “mystery” revealed to those who reason—as is the mystery of “you in you, the hope of glory” . The key to having the “full riches of complete understanding” is to search without fear all things even under the threat of eternal damnation" (As a man, Jesus lived a perfect life (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 7:21), and so He is a perfect example of how to live. As God, Jesus gives us the power to do what is right. It is possible to live a godly life—through the power of Christ (Philippians 4:13) "sweetdelirium". #edited |
Indeed! What I don't understand is there was no mention of the repentance of the guy 'crucified' with jesus that day. Twas only a testimony from his lips(and from your write-up,testimony isn't enough for salvation). Or do u care to explain without twisting scriptures? So much for a complete book |
Weah96: So faith comes first then. No god needed.Exactly! |
Yooguyz: nah you need faith to believe in God, it's the other way round.No.that's wrong, I never asked if I wanted to believe in god. All I asked was do I need to believe in god before I have faith. You are talking about an entirely different thing. |
@yooguyz..do I need to believe in god before I have faith? And why is it that this iss of prayer of faith is more linked to the xtain folks more than other religions|sweetdelirium |

Trust..a very big word. Then a pastor,of all people in this world? I would rather trust a politician. Btw,sister since you are having doubts, why don't you quit (the) church. We both know that you really don't need to go to 'church' to be saved. |
