It's such a shame we have be nurtured with so much bias and prejudice. Only one person has been throwing tribal jabs all over the thread, when he is reciprocated in kind everybody comes out jumping |

forgiveness: I don't agree Haaland is better than both players.
This is Haaland first season in top flight football and has not done anything exceptional than the duo.
I agree with your last paragraph. Haaland has 10 goals in the Champions league, how many does Tammy and Osimhen have? |

jihday: I read it, and still doesn't mean anything. He is way down the pecking order of PK takers for Leicester and it doesn't make sense for him to start begging around for it How do you know he is way down the pecking order? Even if he was they were 4-2 up in the last minutes of the game without the first designated taker the least he can do is request the pen as a striker needing a goal Lacazette did it, Mahrez did it, it is not the first time it will be done |

Danielnino00: Don't be too sure about that..
Tielemans could have refused too... Yea but Tielemans is not even the second designated pk taker which is Maddison, so it was basically an opportunity that he saw and took it |

Danielnino00: I agree with this.. I remember one time when Salah was abused by Liverpool fans after he tried to wrestle the ball from Milner to take a penalty.. That was during the season he and Mane were doing selfishness competition... Tielemans would have given that pk to Iheanacho if he had requested for it and Rodgers would have been too happy to see his second striker score than see a midfielder score |

BascoVanVeli: Teams have designated pk takers. If he had tried that he would never see the pitch again. This is professional football na Vardy is the designated pk taker in his absence the second striker or anybody takes it, even aside from assigned takers they are already 4-2 up and the person who needs a goal is Iheanacho, not like players have not been gifted pks if requested |

BascoVanVeli: No it shows how useless his teammates and coach are. U give that ball to your striker if u believe in him because that will get him going. Rodgers does not plan on counting on #14 for anything and the quicker he gets that the better for all of us. I can't blame him all on this one because the coach should have said something No you take the ball as a striker, every member of the team will want to take a penalty but it is the striker's job to take on the responsibility and score This is a good opportunity to build up his confidence and put himself in Roger's good books but he missed it by being too passive |

MetalJigsaw: Iwobi: I’m not bothered by Ancelotti’s snub sunnewsonline.com Sep 15, 2020 2:20 AM Shearer hails Iwobi after home debut goal Bolaji Okunola
Everton winger, Alex Iwobi has hinted he is unbothered for not making coach Carlo Ancelotti’s squad in the English Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspur.
Iwobi, whose team walked away with a 0-1 away victory in a tie with Jose Mourinho’s tutored team, was seen flaunting an image involving him and Super Eagles’ teammate, Chidozie Awaziem in a pool side.
Surprisingly, Iwobi a nephew to legendary footballer, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, posted the image on his instagram status few minutes after his side victory.
The post saw him receiving accolades from Awaziem who is presently making wave with Portuguese premier league side, Boavista.
“My guy at Alexanderiwobi,” Awaziem captioned while Iwobi replied with a social media emoji which signifies love.
Meanwhile, fans have been divided on social media over the player’s absence from the registered 18-man squad who silenced the Spurs.
It’s yet unknown if the former Arsenal starlet will make Ancelotti’s squad in next league action against West Bromwich Albion. Shebi Andrewbaba44 said he is injured |
