HmmNwankwo Kanu has shared his thoughts on the new Nike kits for Nigeria's national teams.
On February 5, the sports manufacturer revealed a dazzling design to replace the popular ‘Naija’ outfit which enjoyed record-breaking sales before the 2018 World Cup. According to Nike, the designs are inspired by local fabric and instilled with a traditional aesthetic. “In 2018, Naija changed the game with a collection for the ages that set a new standard for how Nike approaches federation design,” read a Nike statement. “In 2020, Nigeria picks up right where they left off with a home kit that fuses the traditional aesthetic of an agbada robe with modern football design.” Some fans believe the latest designs are worthy successors, while others are unimpressed. When asked by Goal about it, the former Super Eagles skipper questioned the Nigeria Football Federation for not keeping ex-internationals abreast of the choices of kits. “I do like the jersey but in the future when they are doing things like this, ex-internationals should be carried along in order to feel our own opinion,” Kanu told Goal. “If not, we will accept whatever is thrown at us even if we don’t like it.” Gernot Rohr’s men are set to wear the home design during the qualifying campaigns for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2022 World Cup. https://www.goal.com/en/news/ex-internationals-should-be-carried-along-kanu-questions-nff/2zzh4t2u5ahl14ooehdermu16 |

BascoVanVeli: Ladan Bosso
Yobo just came back from a course. Basically there are three criteria. The first one is your certificate, then the second one is your playing experience, then your work experience. He has two out of the three - playing experience and his certificate Bosso said in an interview with Nigeria Info FM's Bunmi Haruna monitored by allnigeriasoccer.com.
"Yobo has been a registered member of the coaching association in Rivers State. What course? |

Danielnino00: It's about the money my brother . U don't just earn money by winning games or trophies .. arsenal and man utd have been pathetic for the past 2 season but they are still earning big!
However, u have to build your team well first. But in the long run, the objective is to make money.. You literally earn money by winning matches and trophies Arsenal and Man U are still earning big because they have won a lot OVER THE PREVIOUS YEARS |

safarigirl: Lol....football is a brand. The better your team looks on and off the pitch, the easier it is to sell your brand. Some days ago, we were talking about what fine jerseys can do for the team and Nigeria, do you know how many fans Super Eagles have gotten because the players look good and are young? This team is running on 60% packaging and 40% good football
There are good-looking people that are brilliant at what they do, so, why can't we have it all? Football is not a brand, football is a competition It seems like you drank something this night |

safarigirl: I don't really care for what he has shown, like I said, I only care for results and as long as he has not shown me anything to prove otherwise, I cannot waste my time on negativity.
Everyone deserves a chance , no be everybody go get experience before dem get work, some people will get experience on the job, and not every experienced worker is actually good. At least, that much we have proven, with some of your listed examples.
You are already expecting him to fail, I have no expectations. I keep an open mind for now, and that is what a Super Eagles fan should do, instead of hoping the (assistant) coach fails. When am I going to get my chance because as far as I'm concerned I have as much stake to the SE job as Yobo |

safarigirl: Klopp is a great motivator, in my opinion.
It is Mourinho you should be listing among poor motivators that get thee job done, not Klopp Mourinho is a great motivator but he doesn't do his own in a hyped way like Klopp and his ego problems eventually have a negative effect on his players 'Are you Dele Alli or are you Dele Alli's brother?' is a high level of motivation |

daveP: If this is plan Z, then i want to suspect Rohr might be leaving after Afcon. Its very very strange for NFF to plan for the future with a typical naija man in this manner. Something is fishy and meaty.
Yobo ke? Yea that's the plan they want to phase out Rohr by appointing an assistant without his knowledge and without adequate knowledge and qualifications of coaching How ridiculous! |
