this is ridiculous so because he played 38 games in a season for an average Everton team..

Lool at Ekong and Omeruo. For one, Peak Yobo was MUCH better at reading the game than those two.
Two, he was also better on the ball than both. He matches them on physicality as well.
you dey mind people who started watching football in 2013

What’s your point with this ?

How does this justify Yobo to be our assistant coach ?

You are now asking if anyone in our team has done that

Now please when last do we even have a cb playing in the epl that you want any of our cb to play all the 38 epl games ??

Sir you are no making any sense

You are just trying to justify mediocrity by all means
you people should calm down and read na, somebody said how was peak Yobo better than all our present defenders, that is the question he answered

He proved it at club level where he was able to coach on his own terms, and we all know how that ended. For Nigeria, he had to be a good manager as well to perform well.

I don't understand your first line, did the NFF force players on him? Or did they tell him to start packing graduates of his brother's academy into the SE

It's not about checking well. If u said he brought too many players to camp what does that mean? I just don't have the strength to argue with you

Having too many players in camp is not a corruption allegation. It is simply not efficient.

You made a claim and you are the same person running from argument.

Ridiculous!!!

If you bring up the camp there is absolutely one thing you could be talking about. Was your complaint solely about the number of people in camp? U said he took half a million per player and that is the only thing u were implying. Now that you have lied about what you meant what am I supposed to do? Anything that helps you sleep at night

If this is plan Z, then i want to suspect Rohr might be leaving after Afcon. Its very very strange for NFF to plan for the future with a typical naija man in this manner. Something is fishy and meaty.

You are now a mind reader. grin grin

This is one of your problems, you assume the worst. This is why you label people who hold a different viewpoint as "haters". What started this angle, was you labeling me as "enemy of progress" based on me arguing that Yobo was not ready for a position.

Bro, you are far too sentimental. These things are not as serious. Last comment on this tangent.

Yea that's the plan they want to phase out Rohr by appointing an assistant without his knowledge and without adequate knowledge and qualifications of coaching

How ridiculous!

You have to have the complete package.

You can be motivated but you approach a game wrongly, you will be punished.

Klopp and Pep are not the best motivators in the game.
Klopp is a great motivator, in my opinion.

It is Mourinho you should be listing among poor motivators that get thee job done, not Klopp

Anyway, I have not much concern as regards Yobo's appointment.

He has no certificate, but our President doesn't have a certificate either, and many justified that with telling us he has many years of army experience.

Yobo has many years of footballing experience, let it also make up for a certificate. The position of an Assistant Coach is not as important as that of a President, so, if Buhari can rule 180 million+ people, Yobo can assist Rohr in coaching 23 people. You cannot support Buhari's presidency, and complain of Yobo's assistant position.

If na favor carry am go there o, e don enter, we will see how it all goes.

The person that was previously in that position didn't have an interesting face, at Ieast, I will have eye candy sitting on the bench tongue

If he gets results, why won't he lead the team?

If something is working, you will throw it away because you don't like the brand name?

The only thing that concerns me is results, and that is the only thing that should concern any fan of the Eagles.

I never concern myself with NFF appointments, unless when they appoint proven failures. Yobo has a clean slate, until he does nonsense, before I talk.

If Yobo gets results, he can even lead the team till 2030, an Utility Bill will suffice as certificate
