Family / Re: My Brother In-law Is Making Advances At Me by Successonpoint: 4:13pm On Aug 13, 2023
Hmmm, this is thought provoking I must say. To start with:
1. Are you sure it's not a setup?
2. Are you sure nothing is wrong with him?
3. Sit him down and make sure you record your conversation with him while giving him warning.
4. Start by asking him if he knows you are married to his brother.
5. Ask him why he would love to mess around with his brother's wife.
6. Let him know you are not that kind of woman who sleeps around with different men not to talk of sleeping with your husband's brother.
7. Don't let him suspect that your discussion with him is recorded.
8. Lastly, give him serious warning, and let him know if he continues, he will be reported to your husband.
Note: It may be a setup, and if not, make sure you never fall for him and have proof to back your accusations against him.
God bless!

Career / Update On How I Decided To Learn Handiwork At 45 by Successonpoint: 5:49pm On Jul 30, 2023
Good afternoon Nairalanders, before I give an update on my decision to learn HANDIWORK at 45. I want to start by thanking everyone for their comments which I considered helpful and encouraging. Some people sent me emails but I couldn't access them, I guess my mail account was hacked. To God be the glory, I'm progressing in my learning and have been able to buy some of my tools. Like I said about my wife in my last post, that woman is not from this planet because of the way she has been supportive. Next week is her birthday, and I'm planning to use the little money I kept under our carpet to buy a shoe for her because the last time she bought a shoe for herself was early last year and when we were going to Church today I noticed that that shoe is already gone, she's just managing it due to situation of things in Nigeria.

The problem now is that, if I should use the money to buy shoe for her, she may not be happy due to the fact that we have several pressing needs. Another problem is that if I give her the money to buy the shoe for herself, she may take the little money to market to buy foodstuffs for our family. Please I need your advice my people on Nairaland, what should I do? I just want that woman to be happy with me, and to show her how much I appreciate and love her.

I really thank God for her. I pray God will help me to be able to take care of her very well.
When things are very hard, her mother advised her to leave me, but she said no.
I wouldn't have known if not that she decided to tell me.

thank God you have a supportive wife. you never know how lucky you are.

Career / How I Decided To Learn Handiwork At 45. by Successonpoint: 3:45pm On May 31, 2023
I hope my story will motivate someone to take charge of their life.
I lost my job last year July, and so a friend of mine introduce me to a poultry farm where I am earning 22k per month.

A man with wife and two kids o, my wife was not happy with the job even though she has been supportive in her own little way. And then, she suggested that I should learn handwork, and so I decided to learn welder.

On getting to the man, he told me I will spend 2 years o, I will pay 70k to learn from him. Me way I no get even 20k, I begged him to collect 50k and he agreed.

Then he asked me to make part payment of 30k. I went home and told my wife, and then she gave me 20k to give to the man. I gave the man 20k and he collected it, to my greatest surprise within 2 months I started doing the welding job perfectly.

On my own, I have paid up the remaining 30k with small small repairs job he allowed me to be doing for people. And by God's grace, I have started saving up for my tools.

I really thank my wife for the advice and the welder too. The man has been a tremendous blessing to me in many way. He even told me yesterday that with the look of things I may be free from him in 2 months time except I decided to still remain with him for a while.

Please take charge of your life and stop depending on people for survival.
