Sorry dude, Buhari does not have to refute all the threads. He needs to refute damaging statements that spurned the threads you mentioned. There may have been 200 threads regarding Buhari but 95-99% of the thread centers on the issue of his intolerance especially his tendency to resort to using the street urchins to stoke violence.

The statement about him soaking the dogs and baboons in blood has been out there for at least a year without his denial. Therefore, it is fair to assume he said it. It is obviously too late for him to deny the statement.

As for your question, there is no yes or no answer to the question of whether a statement made in a native language can be translated into English properly. The answer is it depends on who is doing the translation and how proficient he is in both languages.

I do appreciate your civility though. You are unlike Buhari's other supporters that are wont to resort to abuses to drive home their point.

If you can do a little research you'd realise that during the interview that day Buhari spoke in Hausa throughout and made that proverb in Hausa which was translated "literally" in English and published on papers.

The burden is on you, Buhari and all your cohorts to provide evidence that he did not make such statement. By your own admission, he said it in Hausa and it was "literally" translated into English. You are being duplitous, you admitted that he said it in Hausa but you want omonuan to present a video of him saying it in English.

Does it really matter in what language he said it? The fact remains that you have admitted that he made such a reprehensible and outrageous statement. The statement is uncouth and despicable. He does not have what it takes to be a president of a country like Nigeria where he thinks that he can by fiat, control and stabilize oil prices.

He needs to maintain his position as the Khalif of the Buharistan Caliphate and leave the presidency alone. It is way above his capacity. There is no doubt that he has good intentions but the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

You guys are as intolerant as your boss Buhari. Where is your decree 4 when you need it most? You have no room for dissension. Omonuan is right. Buhari is a bigot in all phases and we can't ignore this fact. Truth smashed to the ground will rise and rise again. We don't want the dogs and the baboons to be soaked in blood because at a minimum that is animal cruelty. At worse, it is blue murder when human blood is used to soak the dogs and the baboons.
