Less than a week after 17 exotic vehicles were recovered from a former Customs boss, dozens of brand new tricycles and motorcycles have also been recovered from a property belonging to him.


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said on Wednesday that it raided the warehouse of Abdullahi Dikko, the former Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, where it made the new recoveries.


The commission listed the newly recovered items to include: 42 brand new customized yellow-coloured tricycles; 16 brand new cargo motorcycles; one brand new white 32-seater Nissan civilian bus; one MAN diesel truck; 515 brand new imported rugs of different colours and sizes; two metal bullet proof safe with the sum of N 1,565 and documents of transactions in different currencies within and outside the country.


Dikko, who headed the Customs between August 2009 and August 2015, was earlier arrested by the EFCC in June 2015 over alleged diversion of N40 billion from the agency’s coffers. The EFCC in November 2016, confirmed he had returned N1 billion of the allegedly stolen funds to the federal government.

I am tired of all this sexual harassment from most of our so called female celebrities, especially top actresses in Nollywood... For the fact that i am single doesn't mean I should give in to your sexual advances.
Let me categorically state that I am single but am not searching... If not that i screamed aloud, i might had gotten myself raped..This is getting out of hand, and I think it is not good at all. I am not the type of actor that sleeps around, I am God fearing and the last thing I will ever do is to allow one actress seduce me into sleeping with her while am on a movie location, I don't mix business with pleasure dear, I am very professional. I know of some actors who will easily fall for this, but am sorry, am not like the rest. I have dignity.

Motorists plying the Ikom-Calabar Highway are currently being faced by a heavy gridlock caused by the protesting tanker drivers who blocked the major road. The drivers blocked the highway in protest of revenue collectors who decide to puncture their tyres over revenue collection. See photos below

Covenant Dako, a security guard with a restaurant in FESTAC Town, Lagos State, escaped death by a whisker after he was attacked by an angry mob for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl.


The Kogi State indigene would have been lynched, but for the intervention of the policemen who responded to a distress call from the management of the restaurant. He was subsequently rescued and taken into custody. .

Dako had lured the victim with N50 and had rounds of sex with her in the restaurant’s generator house on Friday, February 3. He allegedly took the victim again on February 6, and was having sex with her when he was sighted by a passerby who alerted residents. .

He was beaten to a pulp before the police intervened. A police source said the victim, a girl who is in Primary 4, also lived in the neighbourhood, adding that her parent had been identified. .

He explained that the minor, who strayed from home, had been taken to Mirabel Centre of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, where test were conducted on her. .

“The suspect, a married father-of-two, has confessed to the crime. He said the girl tempted him by always asking for money,” he added.

A father is facing persecution for beating his children ,ages 8 and 6 and inflicting severe injuries on them.

43 year old father of three, Christopher Sule, has been arrested and according to the Management Committee Chairman of the Jos South Local Government Area, Augustine Pwakim, he will be made to face the law for violating the Child right act which has been enacted in the state.

He has been abusing them for three years until a teacher noticed and raised alarm.

Barely days after two people were brutally murdered in Eika, bodies of two young men suspected to have been killed at an unknown place were found dumped in front of Okene General Hospital on Sunday, February 12th.

However, a Facebook user claims the men were robbers reportedly killed by soldiers.

"They said they met them on the road carrying out operation and doing so pretending to be security operatives. As you can see on the image, one of them is wearing a military belt and also they are not ebira indigens but galant soldiers actually clamped them down. Their corpses were brought to the Okene General Hospital, and the Doctor-in-charge rejected them, hence dumped by the gate."
