Yea, it's necessary to select programs with high vacancies to increase your chances.

Also, choose not too highly competitive schools as first and second option like USP, UNICAMP or UFRJ.

PEC-PG scholarship deadline is on 29th September, If you know you have interest in studying in Brazil next year March, it is important you do your best to apply.
It is an easy way of securing scholarship,unlike direct school admission where you need to compete for admission and scholarship through written test and interview .

You do not need to legalize your marriage certificate and police character certificate, even legalization of your academic certificate it is if your school specifically requested for it to be legalized at the Brazilian consulate. I did not legalize any of my document.

Having said that, for academic certificate, to pay the fee of $5, you need to legalize minimum of 3 documents which will be your WAEC/NECO, BSC degree and transcript, which will be $15 in total.

Do not waste money legalizing marriage cert and PCC, it is a waste of money.

Please i need clarification, I have gained admission to study in MG. (1) now for my legalization i don't have anybody in brazil to receive this document, how can i go about
(2) For legalization fee, according to brazil embassy: The fee for legalizations is $20 per signature, except for school documents (not less than three), which cost $5 per signature.
i will be legalizing/authenticating marriage certificate($20), police character certificate($20), B.sc certificate($5),transcript($5) and o level certificate($5), TOTAL = $55 is this calculation correct

There is current opening for Msc in Botany at Federal university of Viçosa.

If you have scholarship, the regulations do not permit you to work while you study. But you can work remotely if you have tech skills or do one or two stuffs when you settle in fully

Schools do not need to contact anyone, wait till October when the result will be out.

But i will advise you not to put all hope in GCUB, it is highly competitive and they accept few number of student. Last year less than 40 Nigerians were accepted.

Apply for PEC-PG and direct school admission to create more options,It is same scholarship stipend amount that they all offer. nonetheless, direct school admission offer higher stipends in some cases depending on your research funding agency or the location of your school like Sao paulo for example.

I got your message and i have replied. It is same me that processed the admission with scholarship for you around January. Since you did not enroll and defer your admission, that admission is gone.

Pls I got an admission to do my msc in computer science and my admission letter says that my class starts March 2025. I didn’t process it the visa because I was very optimistic that I would get German Opportunity card visa but sadly I got rejected.
Is it possible for me to revive my admission and possibly use it for the next session.
I will really appreciate any help or guidance I can get from anyone here.
Even if it’s just to pursue a fresh admission, I am ready.
PS: Someone helped me to prepare the documents for the admission I got because I don’t really know much Portuguese and I was busy with work.

When applying for the PEC-PG scholarship program, ensure you choose schools with multiple vacancies for your choice of program and also look at for the language of studies, English should be listed.

If you missed out on GCUB, focus on PEC-PG, if offers more admission and scholarship opportunities than GCUB.

It's not by checking google, in reality they are quite different.

For Brazil application for example, Brazil embassy does legalization, same with lots of countries.

Some people use both interchangeably and get confused.
