GCUB and PEC-PG are scholarship programs to get admission into Brazilian universities. You don't need to have admission before you apply. Applying directly to Brazilian universities is alternative pathway to getting admission and also getting scholarship. GCUB and PEC-PG take limited number of people yearly, applying directly to several universities increase your chances and opportunities. While you try your luck with GCUB, don't stop there, apply to universities also to increase your chances of getting in. ShoeWorld2: |

Some have applied for Legalization since January and February, there is general delay and the process is slow. Legalization of police character certificate is a waste of money, it's not necessary. Legalize your academic documents, birth certificate and marriage certificate only. jayteeboy: |
With scholarship letter you don't need to submit bank statement or show proof of funds. piscesgem: |
While applying for Legalization of documents at the Brazilian embassy, it's required you submit the original authenticated copy of your birth certificate, the embassy don't legalize photocopy of birth certificate, it will be returned without being legalized. Let's take note. |
Universities requesting for legalized documents from the Brazilian consulate at home country during application or enrollment are not up to 5%, it's best you look towards other universities without such requirements. FXtrader2025: |
From the picture it looks like it was forced to ripe, and some parts are already getting bad. It's not worth half the amount spend. It's sad that Nigerians no longer have access to quality and natural fruits. In the 90's I used to buy soursop for N2, big and naturally ripe. Then with N1 i will buy fresh 6 mangoes. Oranges were very cheap then also. We eat fruits as snacks. For some years now you can't even get cheap fruits to buy, they are so expensive. Children can't even have sufficient fruits to eat and get nourished with vitamins. It's sad. Mariangeles: |
You don't need to impersonate my name and try to use it to lure people to join a group. Disclaimer: I don't operate any WhatsApp group, don't fall for any scammer trying to use my name. Sugarrpg: |
Testimonials have nothing to do with post graduate studies, it is for those applying for undergraduate studies. For MSC , you just need WAEC, BSC and transcript for academic documents. Then birth certificate and marriage certificate for non-academic peppo4live: |
Study in Brazil public universities are free, no tuition. Cookie104: |

Don't let your poor academic result ( low 2.2, 3rd class or Pass) discourage you from Brazil study quest. Someone with pass have been able to secure admission into a good program/school. What is important is to have a well packaged profile that meets the program's requirements. 2nd cycle admission(2026.2) with resumption by August, 2026 are already kicking off. Make your move now |

If have the interest of migrating to Brazil via study, try and make a move now, do not wait till you get all the answers and assurances. Clarity comes with movement. Immigration policies are changing so fast these days, jet out when you still have the opportunity. |
There is no specific timeline. check the selection notice timelines for the date for enrolment, admission letter are usually released after enrolment. Also write a mail to your program coordination to find out these details. piscesgem: |
We should be careful about some of those instructions given, some are for different visa application or immigration purpose, not specifically for study purpose. Legalization of documents for academic purpose do not need a Brazilian address for it to be sent to, the documents will be sent back to you or as it had hitherto been done returned back with your passport with visa(that is when you apply for Legalization along side your Visa). If your legalized documents are sent to Brazil whose purpose I can't say and doesn't make sense, which documents will you now submit when they request for physical copies after booking appointment? Schools don't request documents sent to them, after arrival you do formal registration. What we need to do now is to get a prepaid envelope with your address to receive the legalized documents, just like you will repeat when submitting the physical copies when requested. Mide3367: |
Why obtain your police clearance certificate long before you are ready to submit your visa application. We should try and be strategic about some of these things. If you are submitting visa application by March, you ought to have done the PCC by February so that it will still be valid during the visa application period and your entry into Brazil, because you will still need it valid why applying for your RNM document in Brazil. Some people have had to get another PCC because theirs expired. Only proceed to authenticate your documents after obtaining your admission letter or close to getting it and you know you are ready to proceed with visa application, so that you don't go through the stress of Abuja twice. Prepare a research proposal and your Lattes CV , reach out to professors in your field and let them know you are interested in working with them and you will appreciate offer of scholarship. treasureboy09: |
For Those who did not make the PEC-PG list Now that PEC-PG is gone, it is not a time to feel sad or gloomy, it is a time to be motivated to push through and achieve what you desire. I never got GCUB when i applied for it but it never kept me down, i applied to several schools and at the end i got 5 admissions with 3 scholarships. I had the liberty of choosing the one that i wanted. PEC-PG scholarship stipend for Msc is R$2100, but you can get above that if you got private funded scholarship via a professor. Also it is advantageous to get a private funded project scholarship because the laws permit you to accumulate it with CAPES or departmental scholarships. But you can't accumulate other scholarships with GCUB or PEC-PG . March 2026 resumption is still a reality, do not give up. I hope this helps someone |
First save yourself from the UK you claimed to live in that you don't have a permanent residence and can get deported anytime. Do you know how many UK and US citizens are migrating to Brazil? People have various reasons for traveling to various places, their reasons don't need to satisfy you. No place is perfect. Americans are migrating to Australia, Australians are migrating to US or Canada. erico2k2: |
You are just an uneducated loud mouth seeking attention. You claimed to live in the UK but you can't write basic English. What does this mean "I just want to know since large group of us are applying". If you have no interest in Brazil how did you find your way here and use the word "us"? I don't even have your time. erico2k2: |
The guidance was given in the email sent to you, take your time to read it. Also take your time to read this notice(Edital nº 12/2025 - PEC-PG - formato, pdf, 185kb) in the PEC-PG page, you will get clarification on how to accept the scholarship and move on from there. You don't need CPF now, you can apply along side your Visa. ireti34: |
Someone close to me that already has Good scholarship from a university was still selected for PEC-PG. they won't give it to those who desperately need it. Na to move on XY01: |
