@pricemond1 This point of yours is eternal. Your line of thought is not about sophistication or a well worded argument. This is simply thought provoking. |
To start with, it's not true that RCCG failed to recognize Pa Akindayomi. Secondly, having medical, education or similar institutions in his home town will be a very good thing - I agree with you totally --but not in making it look like RCCG members don't know the Founder. It's a deliberate effort to shift a bit a way of serving names and that's why both the serving Go and the founder don't have anything named after them. If you start it, even people who donate money to the church will be asking for things and places to be named after them. You can't be an RCCG member (not just come and go member) without passing through the believers class. The believers class teaches the histroy of the RCCG and 80% of its content is on how the church started which is mostly about the life and times of PA Akindayomi. Every quarter, elders are suppose to move from parish to parish to teach what they call "doctrinary teachings " which is supposed to acquaint members with the history of the church and what it believes in. Unfortunately, the elders might not be carrying out this exercise and where it is done, people use the opportunity to ask childish questions that does not have any bearing on real issues such as you have mentioned. Calenders, handbands etc are not made by RCCG, they are only made by people like you and me just to sell on camp ground and make money and so RCCG can determine what it contains etc but even at that, entering some RCCG members' house i still see Baba Akindayomi and the present Go on calenders. But again I still agree that there can be something like a founder's day or do something in his honor. |

the ruling party, the opposition, muslim, christian or Trad worshipers; hausa , Yoruba or igbo: the Nigeria military owe us the responsibility of securing our territorial integrity and more. To do this, many things has to be in place for effective execution of action plans against our common enemies. Important among these is motivation...... Let's stop acting the script of boko haram and chorusing the symphony of discord bn played by our enemies. Its high time we appreciate the men that stand in the rain all through the night and sun all through the day just to ensure that we won't have to cry come next morning. They don't look like they should and might not even be paid as they should but the fact that the lot had fallen on them to go for us should mean alot to us. I can't even imaging what it is to be killed or watch a colleague been killed.....it is a daily load of fear and agony..... Even the music our government composed to encourage them on nta and AIT sound so WACK and less encouraging .our comments on social media made it worse. I wonder what it will cost Nigeria to bring the best to sing for our soldiers....and appreciate them for laying down their lives for a common good. Pls drop a line down here for our men and women facing boko haram....... Your love might be all the motivation needed. Pls , let every one with negative comment not even bother to wait here.....thanks |
bucke1: Good question.bros make all of unna answer now before I cross to Cameroon like our soldiers ![]() |
Nigeria should read the whole Australian man stuff carefully and also read between d line.when was ihejirika made chief of whatever staff ? And when did boko haram insurgency started? if d insulgency predated him how could he have been funding them? Could all these have been what boko guys want ?.. |
philantoxx: maybe he is now an emir ;Dmaybe he is now an emirCould that be sanusi? Chei!!!!! This is serious...... Then why can't they mention the name and no one seems to be talking about this.....its only sheriff and ihejirika that we could see...... |
rawpadgin: my thought exactlyBros av been thinking ..like seriouse n I don't know if there is grand deception somewhere or Nigerians are just been gaulible believing everything n anything. |
I noticed that the guy that mentioned Ihejirika and Alimodu Sheriff as boko haram sponsors also said that there is a CBN official etc without mentioning the name.is there a reason why the CBN man is not mentioned ....? At least to give credibility to the whole story. |
