PhonesBeware Of MTN Fibre X Broadband by sugeMPee(op): 9:49pm On Nov 21, 2025
I jumped on the MTN Fibre X bandwagon about 6 weeks ago and subscribed to the 20mbps for 18,000 naira. About 2 weeks later, I wanted to pay for 3 more months but guess what- the 20mbps for 18,000 naira has been removed form the MTN platform.

I decided to wait till my subscription is about to expire before doing the 25k for 50mbps, but lo and behold, that too has been taken off the market .

Uhm. You might be right. But why is it that the people kidnapping and killing daily are going scot-free and it's only Kanu that's facing the law.

Salewa97:
Kanu is not a saint and he won't be treated as one.

The same way he was asking for the head of Buhari then, he should be ready to sacrifice his own head now

1. Is it not just inhumane and absurd and anti progress to keep him for that long without justice and coming up to give a life imprisonment at this time?

2. Am not igbo but think Biafra is a sensible thing to ask for. I watched a video of the military couple the iPob guys raped and butchered sometimes ago, if you are a relative of the couple, will you think Kanu should be freed or not?
3. The suspects in the Nyanyan bombing and Okene church massacre where apprehended but none of them has been sentenced ( if not at large even), how is it then that Kanu was able to get holders down and nailed? Are we really being fair to him and the Easterners ?

Some comments are just childish. 😅

I know we equate "bashing" as akin to having some sort of victory over your opponent in Nigeria but this is not the same internationally.

The only thing that will give Hamas or even Ukraine victory is having a superior force. Otherwise all annexed lands will remain annexed amidst the bashings.
There has been no insult on this thread since it started. And the first comment you will make here is insult - Family member of Hamas' who always write before they think. What makes my comment childish? huh

Israel is morally justified and will continue to do what they are doing without feeling any guilt... Understand that UN is not holding Hamas to account for taking Israeli hostages and you think there israeli gives a rat ass what anybody thinks or says ......let me remind you that the Roman empire in 300 BC recognized the region as Hebrew territory with a king called Herod who built the temple in Jerusalem. The Arabs came to the region by force of war many many centuries later and are now claiming ownership. The Hebrew are only taking back what is rightfully theirs. Arabs like the Fulani and ruthlessly lusty after territory and are rea ready to do whatever I takes to have absolute and total ownership of wherever they said their interest with out payin for it.... And will stop at nothing to rewrite history, erasing whatever remains of the original owners take a look at North Africa Tunisia Morocco Algeria Libya including Egypt where all inhabited by indigenous black Africans but now you cannot even believe that it has not always been Arab land as the originals have been eliminated and expungd from the memory of History. The same Faith be fell Turkey.
Right now in Nigeria as we speak ilorin is a case in point.
The world had better wake up to realize that the Israeli will not allow political correctness a front burner in matters of their survival. Pretend not to care about Israeli hostages and Israeli will not care about the gazans who celebrated the killing and kidnapping of israelis October 7 2023.
Hamas is Gaza and Gaza is Hamas. Israel is dealing with Gaza in an effort to get back her kidnapped citizens and secure her safety going forward.
There is no arguement of the moral of Israel's intervention. No not one single arguement. This post is about the nativity of those not understanding that Hamas' has a plan, either working or not. This is the discussion. And even some Jews are also not seeing this. If they did, then no one will be on the street asking Bibi to end the war. If they do, they will know that even if the war end, Hamas' is not interested in releasing the rest of the hostages

Hoaxen:
There's no strategy. Even if Hamas murders their own civilians on live television they will still be supported. Global Muslim brotherhood influence runs deep. Facts and truth has no meaning in today's media. They(antisemites) are just looking for excuses to attack Israel.
Your post just underline the fact that there is a strategy, no matter how weak and stupid it is. The mistake of the rest of the west is thinking the Muslim east don't have a plan that goes into decades to come.

You may be right, but that their strategy might eventually backfire, because the state of Israel seems not to care what the world think of them anymore.
las las the israelis may apply the Samson option which the Arab political elites are scared of .
Hamas may have succeeded in destroying the possibility of a Palestinian state .
Which one is the Samson's option. I should look it up

The strategy has failed universally. As it stands now they have completely lost Gaza to Israel. Can anybody show us a map of the Palestinian state? Is it Hamas that is designated as a terrorist organization that is heading the government?
Everything about Palestinian state is audio without tangible territory.
Chief try follow what's going on at the UNGA all through this weekend- maybe you will change your mind.

But generally, I also will think Hamas' also know that it won't get a Palestinian state in one full swing. But how many people are bashing Hamas' the way Israel is being bashed currently. Look am again

Let's agree, Hamas' Strategy is working. The strategy is like this
1. Hit Israel so hard.
2. Make it painful to be ignored.
3. Make the pain to not go away easily.
4. Let it bite hard that it will attract global condemnation

Then

5. Israel will come after Hamas' and Gaza etc
6. Some hostages will be released but some to be kept so that the pain will continue so that
7. Israel will continue to attack Hamas'
8. Hamas' will continue to hide among the civilian population
9. Israel will kill Hamas' and with a huge civilian casualties that will cause a global uproar and
10 many countries will start recognising the state of Palestine which is more or less in the hand of Hamas'
11. And no one will be talking of the initial attack or the victim of the attack

And the strategy continue.....

Having look through how the 2023 election played out, I can conclude that the former President Buhari actually wanted Peter Obi as President. This is a conclusion made after considering so many of the happenings before the election. Emefiele paid some part. Uzodinma played some part. Omisore played some parts. Uzodinma's part angered wike so much at some point. So many things happened in that election.
But can anyone honestly answer the question, of why Omishore went silent all of a sudden and why Wike and the G 5 initially tried to dance around Obi initially and woke finally delayed to route for Tinubu ?

By now, we should all agree that unlike any of every election in Nigeria , 2023 should be an object of study and analysis for any future politicians that want good for this country.

Buhari seems to be different. That man don’t care about who become his successor, he is somehow very different from regular Nigeria politician.

Baba just wanna go to Daura to rest.
That's not true. One of the reason Emefiele will finally work away unhurt is because he was used to get some money through some of the governors to the governors forum but that money was lost in transit ( I can't say more than this). It was lost between an APC echo from south west and a sitting governor from the East. Before then, Wike was already considering supporting Obi too. But upon sighting the eastern Governor's gullibility, he decided to go for his own man -the Lagos man. Things happened!

Lol. You probably don't know where you are talking about. I can tell you a brief history of where you are talking about and also give you an update to date details of the place as at 30 minutes ago and also described every building surrounding the ShopRite . None of the office spaces in the ShopRite wise zone 5 is large enough to charge 5m per annum. The co-working spaces there are also not charging this amount. The halls there are for larger events and charges per hour.

i once went for a job interview in Abuja, imagine a company paying more than 5million for office space at shoperite wuse, cant provide laptop for their staff, telling you to come to work with your laptop and when the laptop spoil na OYO be that. the office space belike where them they do poultry, no window very tiny room. That's why start up in Nigeria don't last, spending big money on office space but cant provide staff a conducive work environment, and more than 8 people dey inside the 2 by 2 office. grin
This is not true. 5 million naira office in Wuse zone 5 ShopRite does not exist. 5 million naira office can not have a small window like a poultry. My naija people no dey carry last for adding salt to conversations. A 5 million office space around where the ShopRite is in Wuse zone 5 will be a duplex (full duplex). If it's in a plaza, it should be a large space. I can now agree that many Nigeria youths are hugely unemployable. If I don't like what is being pushed to me by a company, I simply ignore and move forward. The day you start your own business and start employing, then you will know that Human resources is one factor that can shut you down. When you employ someone today and after you have spent so much to bring the person in, he resigns the next month and you are back to head hunt and the circle continue

PoliticsRe: Major General VT Okoro Traces Chief Sergeant Major CSM To Ibadan by sugeMPee: 7:10pm On Aug 29, 2023
I totally disagree with some of your assumptions. They don't hate you. I can tell you for a fact. The problem is "you will need to tell yourselves the truth". For instance I like you , through and through, with all my being, but will you even bother to tell yourself the truth?

The post made showed that Yorubas don't hate Igbos, if not, the Igbo man won't trace the Yoruba man.

Let's look at the Peter Obi's election you mentioned, the first person to make a major political move in favor of Obi was Doyin Okupe , even though it was tagged the wrong name recently. The second major political pronouncement for Peter was the Afenifere leader and the man stood behind Obi till date. At that point, only young people of the eastern estraction reckoned with Peter and non of the elite and leaders will speak openly for him. Then the much hated Obasanjo stood up and started writing letters as usual in favor of Obi. He even started national consultations for the purpose. But there then seems to be a demon right down in the East pushing the political elite to start speaking against Obi. I almost wept at those instances.

Then notably too is that we are too spontaneous. We could not keep our actions in our belly and only act to suprise our opponents. An Igbo guy even boasted of procuring 2000 pieces of drones to monitor election. Am not sure he thought it through before he spoke. We neglect building bridges . The only easterner trying to build bridge was Obi but he only had one vote. People who should be silent until the victory is won were busy telling Lagosians that Lagos is a no man's land. I doubt if anyone can say that about Kano, Kaduna, Enugu, port harcourt etc. We failed to stoop to conquer and we are paying dearly for that now ....but what do I know....

Racoon:
Here is Major General Okoro humbling himself to seek our his Yoruba Company Sergeant Major( CSM) in recognition of the role he helped to play in shaping his life as a young officer.

MKO June-12 struggle was championed by brave Igbos like the late R.Adr Ndubuisi Kanu, Chris Anyawu alongside Abraham Adesanya, Pa Adekunle Ajasin though some Igbos like Aurthur Nzeribe worked against it. By then, Tinubu have fled abroad when his deal for Abacha to make him the civilian administrator of Lagos fell through. Me I follow fought for the mandate too. Now Peter Obi was condemned for a well know man with dirty past because of parochial politics.

Allen Onyema made Air Peace biggest air fleets available for freighting of Covid-19 consumables and logistics but they hated and condemned him over a phantom financial fraud in the US. Seunmsg my friend was one of the leading champion then but today defending a grossly publicised multiple scandals involving Tinubu.

Innocent Motors versus GTB scandal is still fresh in our memory. The Yoruba man that was making malicious claim that his company alleged bought faulty vehicles from Innoson motors have to delete his FB account when confronted over his false claims. They hate us but we continue to show the love.
Being happiness is a personal virtue and contagious

I am reading this while sitting in a send forth ceremony for 3 members of staff in the NGO where I work. One joined in 2016 through an internship program but replication to US, the second came in on contract and his contract expired after the closure of the project, the third person is a teenager who came for a 3 month internship program. Don't ever listen to the lies that NGO job advertisement are fake. What ever you believe is what you will get. NYSC, internship and volunteering are ways to join an NGO. It's always funny when Corp members come and ask if "we pay Corp members" and I am always eager to tell them "no" even though we pay handsomely with plenty of benefits. All staff entitlement are available for interns, volunteers and Corp members, but we don't want people who feel entitled and who only want to join because of money etc.

As promised earlier here, I am here to drop it.

Slumped on the bed, Sola has been resisting the urge to cry her eyes out. She wondered why everything else is working out for her besides relationship. In less than a year, she has had to walk out of three relationships. This recent one with Okemute was more painful, she should have known better, she thought to herself.
‘God, the red flags were so glaring!!!!’ She screamed, throwing everything in sight. Her pain was more of how she stupidly tolerated his shit than the heartbreak.
Their meeting was the most magical yet unexpected. Okemute was not exactly the kind of man with a jaw-dropping look but there was something special about his demeanor. He smiled a lot and looked into her eyes while he gave details on the launch of his new cigar into the market and how he wanted the ad.

Lynette Sola, a badass copywriter with Flamingo, an advertising firm always meet with clients on a daily basis as the creative department is the life engine of any advertising firm. She needs to understand what clients want from an ad campaign, what is its intent and the target audience.
Flamingo would usually advise her clientele to set their metrics before getting down to the creative process. She never works in isolation. She works with other copywriters, art directors, designers, production artists, web designers, and creative directors.

On their first meeting, Okemute had eyes only for her and he was intrigued by how well she interpreted his campaign ideas. She knew she got his attention and most importantly, a client for the firm. She did not plan to fall in love with him or so she thought.
Flipping through her diary which she began writing at the age of twelve, she got teary-eyed. This ritual has kept her grounded and reminded her of what she wanted out of life.

Dear Diary, I just saw my period. The very first!!! I guess I am among the early comers to this menstruation thing. Funny thing is we were taught about it in primary six but I never understood it. and now in JSS 1 it came!. She read, as she cringed at how poor her writing was. No proper punctuations. Well, it gave her something to laugh about.
Picking a pen, she made to correct what she had written years ago but decided against it. She continued reading.
