Nigerians see marriage as something to tick off at a certain age. So anybody that is ready, they just grab him/her. Then they get tired after the kids come and distract themselves with everything but the actual aim of marriage _companionship. I saw a Tiktok post of a lady saying she plans to have sex with her husband regularly and it was married people telling it doesn't happen. She should prepare her mind for sex with kissing or romance. Married men and women were saying this and they saw it as normal.

Sex should not be restricted, a couple can have it if they choose to and with protection.

Thats nigerian men and women for you, things are starting to change as most nigerian women mostly millenials and gen z are becoming liberal.

I agree that marriage should be fun. The picture you added is of white people. Nigerians make marriage look very rigid and unattractive.

Man and woman should cohabitate best if its longer the better.
Most nigerians lack game or certain ethics, for instance nigerian men will toast babe, then date then engage then marriage which is wrong, the normal route should be friendship then dating then marriage, no need for engaging when a man and woman know what they want

Most nigerian men marry based on beauty, superficial things concerning their woman, age, financial capability which is not neccessary.


Most nigerians are conservative so they tend to view marriage as means to extend their lineage, thats why after a woman have given the man some children, most men lose interest in their wife, some cherish theirs but for aesthetic reasons. You hardly see a nigerian man in his 60s doing certain things for wife like helping out in the kitchen

Korean Movies are so close to home now to me because they have becoming blindly good in the last couple of years. I basically just see everything at this point. I go wherever there is good cinema 🫣. The last couple of years, i have seen a mecedonian film, a Jordanian film, numerous Iranian films, a Moroccan film, heck even a Pakistani film! 😩, i didn't even know they made films at the time let alone a really top shelf one!.
