this is nothing new bro. Its very rampant in first , African leagues, secondly south east Asia and then south america. Some parts of north america too most especially mexico.

It's very difficult to fix games in Europe coz the world is watching but lower European leagues like Cyprus and the likes do it with ease. Although the Italian seria A had its own share years ago which they were eventually caught.

Even in EPL, the cabals take over some matches but its very coded and not everybody will know.

Match fixing is extremely rampant in tennis, only the top 350-400 players make enough money from the sport to live a decent life at least. And there are 15,000+ players. Many of them are struggling to make a living. So forfeiting a game with high odds when they're the favorites and telling friends and family about their intentions ain't a bad idea. This is very common in the lower level competitions.
