Alaye, pls enlighten me nah! I know you're making money digitally. Show me your secret nah! Shey make I dm you ni?
hehe Chief this ain’t even about me like that but what me I dabble in is a specialist field. I dabble in diagnostic cardiology as well as in Astrology. These are not fields that I can teach you . You have to actually go to university. It’s medical diagnostics. You need to be speaking to the guys into coding . Those type of skills you can pick up on YouTube but those guys can guide you to the hottest IT skills you should do so as not to waste your time

Yes. There are folks who live this way but they can't live like that forever moving from place to place.

Also, if they are moving to expensive cities like N.Y for instance...they would be paying more in housing and utilities...they can't even afford a mansion in those expensive cities.

Let me ask you boss:
Can you pay 20million for rent in Nigeria?
the bolded is why they move to cheap countries like thailand and nigeria etc

can i pay 20 mill in rent ? sure if i was earning 3 billion naira a year

Earning huge sums doesn't equate sound financial decisions/ management. Why do you think many folks are going into real estate? Even people that don't yet earn 300k USD a year...
brother real estate is analog in a digital world. Some people just like to be free to move around the world without ties to brick and mortar. After their one year lease is up in banana island they move to Thailand and pay another one year rent and live in Thailand . Many young cosmopolitan Nigerians are starting to live like this

Paying 20m rent for residential purpose in Nigeria is pure waste of resources, unless it's your organisation that's paying for it.
hehe bro, as I stated earlier it’s different levels of existence . How much is 20 million Naira per year ? That’s only 20 thousand dollars a year . These digital nomadic guys who code for blue chip companies paying them 300 thousand dollars a year all live in 20 million Naira per year rent mansions in banana island. That’s only 20k dollars out of their 300k dollars salary used for rent. Like I always say ITS DIFFERENT LEVELS OF EXISTENCE

OP you are everything that is bad and rotten about Nigerians. That animalistic violent tendency. I mean you deserve everything that is happening to you only if it can make you a more civilized human being

You pay 1.4m annually? With all the money you have been paying will get you a land and get it to building... Chai...!
come on mayne na different levels of existence Dey. Maintain your lane. Some pay rent 100k, some is 500k, some is 1 million, some is 4 million, the ikoyi ones is 8 million a year, the Victoria island ones is 10 million a year, the banana island ones is 20 million a year . Levels Dey to this life

But people in uk still travel home. Some even travel home multiple times a year. What are you even talking about?
some people in naija still drive bentleys despite the hardship. what percentage though ? there are about 1 million nigerians in the UK, the number of them who can afford to travel is less than 50 thousand. we see the same people from uk every year at detty december. not even up to 10000 people

bro even 80k in Canada is sapa level. To thrive in Canada you need at least 200 thousand CAD a year . Canada is expensive . E get why dem say Nigerians in Canada don’t buy houses in naija .

Okay. If you say so.
but to your other question, UK jobs are notoriously known for paying low wages. Even nurses are demonstrating to get a livable wage. So if you want to save for ticket money from UK wages ? More power to you and good luck

Don't you think living life independently is good?
Too much emotional tie is something that is stiff to us black people ?

He is abroad pursuing life maybe with wifey and kids. Why worry about the parents in Nigeria ? If he is taking care of them, what else do you want him to do ?
So he shouldn't grow up at some point and fly away ?

whats your definition of failed in the abroad ? Because from the way you speak it’s obvious you are just abroad physically but mentally you are still a primitive thinking 3rd worlder. Now that’s my definition of a failure abroad. Still the same odious bushman irritating the good white folks of Canada with your odious isale eko mentality 🤣

I have been on Nairaland for quite awhile and this dude Sukkot is one of the most pitiful people I’ve ever come across on this forum. He always sound depressed I guess it’s owing to his failure in his sojourn abroad. People that behave this way are mostly people that were either deported or were miserable and feel the system rigged them out. We have millions of people doing well abroad but he only chooses the stories of those not doing well to fuel his frustration.God forbid I have this kind of people around me.
I am doing very well. Stop typing through your anus. The reality on the ground is that more Nigerians abrroad aree illegal than legal

bro in the UK 5000 pounds is a lot. The average british person has less than 1000 pounds in their accounts. So stop talking through your anus

Hi Sukkot, someone up there just encouraged some of us who wish to relocate to Canada. If I enter Canada through proper channels of work permit and provincial nominee program, do you think I have anything to worry about??
oh Canada is great if you are on sapa street in naija but it sucks if your life is great in naija. If you are enjoying life in naija, gated estate, 24 7 electricity, money to spend, car, nice girlfriend, etc etc you will hate Canada . But if na sapa levels you dey for naija then you can manage boring Canada 🤣
