🤣 The caveat has now become necessary, bah? I watched the video and I dived into the comments section too. I love YouTube's comment section for the diversity and candour often expressed there.

One comment in particular resonates with me (screenshot attached) because it is the same thing someone close to me said years ago when I asked her why she returned to Naija after her school programme? Why didn't she stay back, get a job and continue life over there?

She wasn't in any of the popular countries i.e. UK, US or Canada. A great country but I can't mention it because it may out me if she sees this. She said I can't explain it you and you may never grasp it, until you've lived there. But she still proceeded to explain it as best as she could.I perfectly grasped it and understood her.

The last sentence in the screenshot were the exact words and sentiments of my friend.
lmao oh yeah that caveat has become necessary so that those who never had any hopes oh japaing anyway will not come and use you as an excuse of you trying to put an obstacle in the way of their japa. Oh yeah YouTube’s comment section is totally my thing. Diverse and varied opinions. Now see that your friend? She is perfectly on point with her perceptions and her desire to exit because you can never get a full life experience being a second class citizen in most of these countries and like the man said they work you like a machine, however I am also not going to sit here and advocate for Nigeria being a great option either. Personally I think there are other better options within Africa . But yeah like the comment you quoted, many get trapped and can’t afford to exit and this is where depression kicks in. Truthfully the whole world is a ghetto of sorts. There are no respites anywhere. There is varying forms and degrees of hardship out there in the world. It’s a question of pick your poison

What kind of personality will a child born at that particular time have
very strong powers to terminate things when he shows up. when he shows up it means its time for someone to be cancelled out. and so the person would most likely be a celebrity to be seen by all

Travel › Nigerian Doctor Regrets Japa-ing To Canada. Video Included by sukkot(op): 8:10am On Aug 30, 2023
Now first of all let me establish one fact , I do not care about your life choices, I personally find these japa topics and the back and forth comments on it to be very amusing. So when I open topics like this it is strictly to catch cruise. Nobody is discouraging you to japa so please save that mad talk. With that being established let’s proceed with the story

Dr Peter is a very rich man in Nigeria who had a medical practice and a big house and three cars. He was doing very well. But the japa allure came knocking at his door. So he sold everything he owned and moved to Canada. This is his story. It is full of regrets. He said he has discovered the whole thing was a mirage and that in Canada they work you like a machine and you never get to enjoy your job and they take all the money back in taxes and that you can never save. His advice to Nigerians is that if you are very stable in Nigeria do not attempt the mistake he made. In going through the comments of the video are people like him with similar regret stories of selling it all and going to Canada. One commenter says he looks back at selling all his property to japa as a form of madness.

Anyway enjoy the video and let us know what you think about Dr Peter or what he had to say

If it’s one thing I have found out about America, it’s a country of UNCLOSED DOORS and any man or any lawyers with sweet mouth can get through those doors. It is a fantastically corrupt country in terms of bureaucracy. I say all that to say that no one can tell you exactly what will happen to him. If he has a very good lawyer with very sweet mouth there ARE ALWAYS legal loopholes to be exploited especially considering he has many American children. Also on the other hand he may be unlucky to be in a racist state and have bad lawyers and get deported . So there are many variables and many moving parts.

I'm sorry what? Largest refinery in the world at where? Huawei where? Pulling Africa into industrialization age how? Inasmuch as I don't like the west, let's not pretend the Chinese or the Russians like us. They are debt trapping Africa with high interest loans and lopsided agreements to exert dominance and control. Imagine paying over 60% interest on loans from exim bank of china with virtually unattainable repayment plans. I laugh profusely at Africa. Africa is being used as a chess piece in a cold war without it's knowledge.
all western propaganda. Do you know how much foreign currency that dangote refinery would bring into Nigeria ? It would stabilize our currency. China is doing good works in Africa.

If truly Russia isn't interested in Niger, as the other guy said.
But with the hoisting Russian flag buy the coupist, Russia might get interested in other to honour her flag
russia is not interested in foreign conquests. They have enough land and resources. They just need America out of the way. America and France are in Niger. They are in the way of free global business. Russia gains more from free global enterprise without the dollar stifling the competition and giving America undue advantage.
