Remove the processor and reapply the thermal paste on it spreading it over the processor top

Reset the bios (look for a small sized lithium ion battery, remove it for like 5 mins and then replace it)

Generally dust the system using a dry brush or blower

Are you sure the ram you tested it with is ok? If not try another ram and clean or dust the ram port.

thanks OP, its a HP 6735s. The ram i replaced it with was working perfectly, i had even tested its own ram on another system and it works fine. However, i think I will have to rip it open and do a general dusting though I'm not that comfortable fussing with the bios. Once i did d general cleaning and no improvement, then i may likely need the helping hand of an expert.

Hello computer gurus in the house. A friend of mine used his flash drive on my laptop few days ago and ever since then, all my folders in my laptop are shortcuts. and the unfortunate part of it is that, any flash drive I used on the system has the same problem. I gues is virus but my Avast in the system can't deal with it. pls help me out. this is really driving me crazy. thanks for ur help in advance.

update ur avast program and virus definition, then boot scan your system. Had same problem earlier and solve it using this method without formatting my system. Try to install smadav afterward and come back for testimonies.

Kudos OP, pls my system when turned on will show notification lights but the screen remains blank. I have try changing the ram but no changes.

Why not do a virtual recharge card sales instead.

That way you don't need to print out anything. So long as you have an internet connection you can dispense recharge pins on the go. You can even do it directly to your buyers phone.

the software (OCR) already comes preinstalled with office 2003, but with higher msoffice u have to install it along with the office using custom installation. It works far better than third party softwares.
