CSTRR:Bros why are you always laying emphasis on hiring european, what happened to charting our own course uniqely. If we hire them and we play based on their teachings how then do you think we can beat them? Remember England, Belgium, Netherlands are all europeans you are advising we go after, they all have there golden generations but have not won any major tournament in recent history. I am not disputing the fact that our football need a complete overhaul, my point is we don't neet any european to chart that course for us. What we need are young hungry players who will compete for shirt with all these celebrity europe based players we have around. |
Standing5:Buhari government did multi million naira solar farm for five universities during his tenure, what is the situation today, almost all of them are in comatose. One that i personally attend the funfare when Osinbajo commission it stopped working just after two years to the extent they start budgeting money to buy disel for charging the solar batteries. |
meum:It's like you get the root cause of the lamentation. If you hear how much they budget for running generators you will marvel and ask how practical. And it's not that the generators run 24/7. It will surprise you to know that one of the Uni the FG install high capacity solar power could not maintain it for two years to the extend they have to buidget for diesel to charge the solar batteries. One will ask what is the work of thos electrical engineer professors that we have in our universities. |
ufotunang:Well, you have a good point, though we have some entrepreneurs up north who already key into that, (like Rufaida yougout). They have a eatery (KFC standard) where customer can walk in to buy and consume it there or take away. The other part you mention may not be possible as it dairy and perishable, it need to be refridgirated and can not be stored for a long time. Moreover, there is nothing that beats consuming in its natural source. |
Pressure don dey o. Man City no wan soft peddle at all, na hot hot dem bring am today, and Arsenal is here taking things slowly |
Why City no wan make people sit on the edge of the chair till the final whistle as it was when they clinch their first title against ManU . Now the little hope Arsenal has is dashed |
Racoon:I cannot see Tandi, Dr Pepper and Pearl Soda (the advert made me like this one, it goes something like "Pali soda gbegbemi looo o" ) |
But is Wizkid not on sabatical again ![]() ayamnot understanding |
KushLyon:Absolutely sir, Forex traders are speculators its as simple as that. |
Qwertyuiop1:It very simple sir. Let me explain as a lay man too. What you did at bolded is called speculations which many other Nigerian are doing For example assuming you bought $1 @N1600 then, you will be eager to sell it when you see someone who is willing to buy from you @ N1650, thereby you made an abritage gain of N50 on the volume of $ you bought. This looks very easy right, its like free money, and you don not even have to lift a finger, you just need to punch some keys on your phone ![]() Just as you are involve are thousand others too involved, thus the value of the Naira depreciates further. Note that this is profitable for you speculating with the Naira, but it is hurting the nation and millions of Nigerians, A clear example is the skyroketting cost of foodstuffs and electronics, which naturally could have only been marginally affected by the removal of subsidy. On the flip side, the CBN has cracked down on aiders of such speculations, now there is a bit of sanity, and the Naira is gradually and consistently fighting back, Here what happens is they make the black market rate cheaper so those who hoard $ now will have no choice than to dispose it at a loss. Because I can not see aboki who is ready to sell $ for me @ 1,075, and you expect me to come to you and buy for N1650 because you bought yours for N1600 and we are friends In simple englis, its the survival of the fittest, while speculators are fighting to make gains from the Naira, the regulators too are fighting to strengteen it, so brother, the fear of uncertainty will make many dispose off the $ they keep, this will further bring down the value against the Naira, thus the reason why the Naira is appretiating. The decision is yours bro, you can sell it off now and count your loss ![]() or with for a miracle that it will somehow magically go toward the 2k mark before ending of May as many have speculated ![]() |
betshopagent:The more reason why Emery will continue to take any Arsenal match as a final. if only he was given more time like Arteta was given |
CrossRhodes:He took them to the Europa final, How has Arteta been better given the free spending speer. |
Tranquility2345:and Unai already proved that. he beat and showed Arsenal class home and away. |
Trippledots:CAn you ship to Kano? |
dominique:You nailed it. Seems you didn't get the memo Yes we have to be sure of the colour and religion of the assailant before they are properly labelled ![]() Thy hypocrite of the West ![]() |
Cajal:Not if Arsenal wins today. Liverpool was so disappointing, was hoping the three horse race will at least hold till two or three games to go. |
This is so dicey as Emery is on a mission. If at all I'm loosing it shouldn't be against arsenal. Let see how it goes considering the fact that City are already a placeholder at the top of the table |
The Naira is steadily gaining momentum, many was doubtful and believed it was a hoax initially, well they can't be faulted given the precedent of our leaders. However, with this continuous gains which has been sustained for over 6weeks, the CBN handlers need recommendation. One will now wonder why and how do we got into that deplorable state where the Naira was on a free fall in the first place. |
Daninya33:. Well I saw this late, not sure if you already resolve the issue. My question is was the sound working when you initially install the win10? Why I asked is some ChromeOS especially Acer have sound driver issue when cracked, so don't let anyone deceive you of a quick fix because normal windows drivers dont work with it. |
Ray07:its like you are counting City out already, other than Spurs game away, all others seems easy game for them, unlike Arsenal who still have Chelsea, Spurs and Villa |
EnterpriseMan:You see why bad belle no good ![]() we asked you to zip up, you couldn't, anyways we still thank you for a job not well done ![]() Any way na to raise your ego, the hope for top 4 don go before now ![]() |
Energist:Wait, you called 20km a short water stretch you know short water stretch is something someone can just swim across, but 20km |
EnterpriseMan:Be careful what you wish for, we don profess fake love for each other this season, na pat my back (As you are currently doing) make i pat your back. You can't possibly be rooting for Aston villa, and Tottenham against us, as those two depending point brings your top 4 hope alive, so next season we may fight to the death, but as it stand we are unfriendly friends ![]() |
ManU has always been a show stopper. You never can predict them, When you expect them to win, they don't and when you expect them to loose, they pull surprises. However, we are all solidly behind you today, just do us a favour and zip up |
ganye1:How is that derailing the thread when the topic is boldly on Ramadan feeding fund being mismanaged. What is the different between my opinion and that of @ Racoon Let the Government take on their responsibilities for which they are coted for. Sentimental food sharing in a selected month and selective tourist visa subsidy is sure not part of those functions but rather an avenue to embezzle. |
ganye1:On the contrary sir, the examples you raised are example of social services which every citizen have equal right to. I may decide to put my child a public school or attend a general hospital, its my right. and i may decide otherwise to go to a private hospital. This is different from sharing food during fasting, what happen to those who are not fasting, they loose out on that right, What happened after the fasting period, will they continue the food sharing? Even during the food sharing will they be going from house to house or it will only be for some selected few. Same as hajj, those who are not close to those in power automatically loose out, those who don't have the unsubsidized amount will not be ncluded. |
FAntabulous Send them food to feed fat Blow up the aid workers then send more weapons to continue the bombardments ![]() |
