Volkswagen is having no chill despite the dieselgate saga. They have even waxed stronger in times of trouble.

Now, they have revealed this amazing self driving pod. It is called the Volkswagen Sedric and expected to be on the road by 2025.

Sedric is an acronym of Self-Driving Car.. The car comes with 5 lidar scanners (which measures distance to various objects), 7 cameras and several sensors to make it a Level 5 fully autonomous vehicle. Level 5 is the highest which means no single human intervention is required while driving.

You can summon the car with its special key called the OneButton and you will receive details of the arrival time. Once on board, you can set your itinerary via the voice command system.

This is a car of the future that will definitely get to Nigeria sometime in the future. What year do you think the Sedric would be spotted on Nigerian roads? Tell us in the comment section..

A 17-year-old girl named Fatima B has appealed to the Niger Child Right Protection Agency to dissolve her one-month-old marriage.

Fatima is married to 35-year-old Salihu M, said that she was no longer in love with her husband and also wants the marriage dissolved so she can further her education.

“I was given in marriage to Salihu by my family, who thought I will have a better life with him. I do not want this marriage; I do not love this man. I want a divorce because I want to go to school and it is only when I am divorced that I can return to school,” she said.

Her husband, Salihu also replied saying that he married his wife legally, and with the consent of her family.

“At first, my wife was happy with the marriage until she suddenly changed her mind and opted for a divorce. I still love my wife and I want to spend my life with her, but if she wants a divorce, I have no objection. I cannot force her to remain in the union,” he said.

The Director-General of the Niger Child Right Protection, Maryam Kolo, was full of praise for Fatima for having the courage to seek for divorce, and gave a two-week ultimatum to dissolve the marriage.

“If you fail to do so within the two weeks, the agency will file for divorce on behalf of the girl in a Sharia Court,” she said.



She further warn parents against giving out their daughter early for marriage.

Recall, yesterday, Kemen got disqualified from the Big brother Naija show as a result of the sexual harassment meted on TBoss by him, though many people had reservations as to why he was kicked out and formulating that TBoss may have connections in the BBNaija cabal, and that’s why her “trouble finder and supposed irritant” was kicked out, video evidence has been released which shows that Kemen actually groped her while she slept.

A close source to the family have come out to speak about the unfortunate incident which disqualified the Akwa Ibom born fitness trainer, and of course they are displeased with the punishment, Big Brother making Nigerians feel Kemen is a “pervert/rapist” and most importantly angry that TBoss couldn’t do anything to save the situation when she had the power to. Remember, earlier after the sexual harassment incident, TBoss was called into the diary room by Biggie and questioned if she approved of what went down between she and Kemen, and she boldly said, “she didn’t give him permission”, well, that seems to be the bedrock and the basis of Kemen been ousted.


The source claims that the family is agitated that Nigerians are pouring their anger on Kemen on Social Media, saying all sorts of things about him. Also, he said that, if TBoss wasn’t comfortable or didn’t approve of what happened on that eventful night, how come she turned to the right without stopping or throwing tantrums. The source continued by saying, immediately Kemen is back to base, they might sue Big Brother for defamation of character and unlawful justice.

Furthermore, the source is of the opinion that, TBoss is like a sacred egg in the show and she might have one or two people who are in high positions in the country and have vested interest in the show, the family claims that Debbie Rise also did something similar to Bassey but wasn’t put in the chopping board bt how come Kemen is, because TBoss is involved? "I wonder why she should be pressuring me to change my religion before getting married to her. I sorted an advice from a pastor, and I was told that she was not the woman for me.
