Coloured ice qween(ice cream) in nylon was 2k , soya milk version was 3k , ice water was 1k and later 5kobo. Pork and beef chop (modern day asun) was 15k and later 50k (k for kobo). Cooked blood meal was great.

Village chemist was sweet, looking for used syringes and those lizards and rats were lab rats. Dirty Cooking ( playing baba and mama ) was cute. What did I not do as a kid? Not forgetting granny's tale by moon light of the proverbial tortoise we were always lead to believe was the wisest animal on earth.

Wow! Isn't that the first trekkers sandals? I will always cherish being part of the last generation of Nigerian kids who really had a lot in common not like now when everything is scattered. Plus at some point we were truly innocent.
