This is really serious O! A friend to my friend is having the same problem, though he's not in Nigeria but just got his residency on his correct date of birth and want to obtain new e-passport on his correct date of birth. I have asked about this problem here: https://www.nairaland.com/2201318/how-renew-south-africa-visa .

I just read through the thread! That last poster was right. They told me it was illegal to tamper such data, that's why they told me " Corper see na trial and error o" and if them catch any officer wey he burst for him head ma dismissal o"

But we are in Nigeria, someone who knows someone at the highest top will be doing such easily sef. Make God help us in this country, little things they won't make clear and precise provisions for.
Till today I still dey swear for that agent at Ikoyi office, I even told me immigration officer who snapped me then immediately I noticed but they said you will change it later jor so I accepted.

I have same issue with you I wait for mine to expire then go to make enquiry at the abuja HQ, to be candid it is not possible as far as Nigeria standard is concerned. I dressed in my NYSC uniform that they just to have some access. I meet a couple of ogas and they advised me to just go and renew that old one. They said it is purely trial and error, and I would pay upto like 75k to the governments account which is not even refundable before I will then tip someone to help me hasten the process. They said its almost impossible to do that nothing is guaranteed.
Not one but like 3 of ogas I meet, and some normal staffs I meet self.
I even travelled to Ilorin office because a man offered to do it and asking for 300k which is also non refundable so I just laugh away!

Just all I found out, I just haven't even renewed yet sef.

Bro, I would have loved to break it into piece for easy understanding, but right now, there is this babe I've been timing for 4 weeks now, we just got talking and she on her way here. wink

Which course do you want to study?
Whats your undergraduate course and CGPA?
Do you have any state in mind (US)?
Are you ready and willing to write standard test?
Can you finance your graduate study? Are you interested in funding?

The response the questions would give be better knowledge of your profile. You are in the right place. cool

Enjoy your package and remember to use rain coat tho!
Answer to your questions;

Which course do you want to study? human resource management or Ms in Management with concentration on HRM. Depends on which ever I can find.

Whats your undergraduate course and CGPA? Human resource management and 3.78

Do you have any state in mind (US)? None yet on my mind.

Are you ready and willing to write standard test? Sure I am, just need info on which of them to write now since it has been broken down for me.

Can you finance your graduate study? Not for long cos I have limited cash saved overtime that's why I'm asking for the first payment and cost idea to have at hand to settle immediate things before things start kicking in like help from school or any other source. Maybe 1 or 2 semester fee would do or a full year etc and like how much is enough to establish myself just before any funding source comes in I hope u get.

Are you interested in funding? Yes if the opportunity is available and I merit it, I am ready to grade it.

It's no stupid question at all.... Actually you pay per credit per semester. I.e. you are been charged per credit, credit in the US means unit. For example in naija we have 4units course, 3units course etc, here its called 4 credits, 3credits etc.

If your school charges let say $10 per credit for international students, then you will be paying $30 for a 3credit (3units as per naija) course. But been an International Student, you are not allowed to enrol in less than 12 credits per semester, you are only allowed to take more which is advisable so that you can finish ur study on time.

Note: Not all courses are 3credits oooo... We have 2 credits course and more. It all depends on your school and the discipline u r going for. I hope this helps.

God bless u bro!
Most schools I'm seeing are charging not less than 800/credit. Is there something cheaper?

You have a good cgpa and if you research and search via gradschools.com, am sure you will see a school of your choice.
All F1 visa can study and earn and you can also have TA/GA if you meet the school requirement

Thanks man! Will sure research on that site.
A few questions please!
How do you school fees? Per semester or by credit?
I read somewhere that 12 courses is the required to graduate and 3 credit is to a course... Does this affect payment ?
What's the max that might be sufficient for the first semester is that how it's paid?

Please don't see them as stupid questions but would help me a lot!

Its unfortunate that some ppl ll sit in their room saying what is nt....Buhari can't win **Ekiti,Ondo,Ogun(margin of SDP nd PDP)even Lagos is 50/50 bt Osun is sure for him

Buhari can't win in River state nd Edo despite Amachi nd osomole own state

Buhari can't win all northern state also**jigawa,abuja,kaduna,Niger,Benue,platue,kwara..etc

Bros, abeg U are on the wrong path.
Kwara, Niger and Jigawa are certain for Buhari. Kaduna will be shared if not 50/50, Benue and Platue I can't say.

Niger state that I know is for Buhari upto 80% certain, last election was 65% but now the pendulum don swing totally.

South west U talked about:
Lagos will be shared I can't tell who will have upper edge but APC have high possibilities because of the grassroot penetration on ground.

Ekiti will be like Lagos too, 50/50 too.

As regards Ondo, there will be issues for PDP their because of Mimiko's defection and might cos them some votes for Buhari. I expect he would get his 25-35% here.

Now, Rivers and Edo.
Here it's not about tribe or party again, it's about candidacy. More than half of Edo will swing for Buhari I can bet on that in advance.
Rivers state I don't know their fate their but I'm certain the worse APC can make is 30-40%

Hello brothers
I want the gurus to help me on this, a friend in the US suggested it for me tho.

I wanted to pursue a Msc program in the US and he had advice me to apply for undergraduate studies from Nigeria just to boost my chances of getting visa, that upon arriving to the U.S. I keep the i20 under the bed and go to apply of MSc in another school.
Is this possible ?
My question is, must me be same school or another school ? Considering the school that I got visa with?

Guys advice!!!!
