Thanks a lot for this boss... I believe you. Thanks @fmusty and others. I go make am with una help saxy4c: Now I'd like to let you know that I took this bold step tonight because of you. I wanted you to see if I had lost these opening trades, I would try again and again till I'm in cumulative profit. Forex is about calculated probability, if you are a coward you can't trade, that's what a lot of people do, they post wonderful setups but don't trade and look only for when the big money bait comes in for them to gamble their funds. However, in this case I made profit, I would consolidate and look for the next profitable setup and close some trades in loss and have negated my initial assessment to enter the trade in the first place. Forex is not a gamble like many here see it. It's a well thought out plan that is carried out with almost succinct accuracy. That's why many do not realize how following set of rules day in day out would give you the potential to grow your account exponentially. But don't worry the way I just traded in real time and real account in front of all of us, I would still be here to prove a few more things insha Allah. Just spread the love to others in need no matter how little and also your prayers. So Mr young man, I was in this stage of your life about 18years ago and if I had 100usd and knew about trading then. I'd have bought over @seun with a few Forex billion naira and have him be my COO in the next best startup after Facebook, lol. I honestly can't understand how Forex can be placed in the same category as HYIP, MLM,Binary and even grambling, do you know Donald Trump is highly invested in the forex markets and Warren Buffet the one time richest man has the biggest mutual fund that also trades forex? This is insulting
Keep at it and you'd get a promising job. But in the meanwhile please put that 100usd in a good broker like hotforex and start making it for yourself. If you're Christian, remember the one who was given talents and buried it? May you never be that man, you've discovered a skill that is still very unexplored especially in these parts of the world, utilize it!
Finally I plead that you do not get the misconception that I'm bragging or trying to intimidate some others. Far from it! I hate the horrible experiences I had to go through to get to this point and more so the lies and deception that I constantly met on the quest to get a market edge.
Just keep your head down and make sure you know your basics is the best advice I can give you. Other than that it’s all psychology
P.S The account that I started with in negative has gone to some decent profits in just over an hour of trading. It has even made about 10% of profits in the same period. I still won't say what I started the account with, before the demo traders jump on the attack, but at least I can show what it will be as the week proceeds, that way its clear for all to judge. Forex profits are real and they are not controlled by anyone's rules, your mind is the ultimate determinant of your outcome, I repeat it's all about your MIND. I'm grateful to @Dominique and the other mods that after all these posts, not a single ban!!! Kai, my heart was beating everytime I thought my entire plan would be interrupted by the usual ban I get.

Do we really have moving averages that work for particular market instruments or currency pairs?
Have we really sat down to find out what a moving average is?
AVERAGE = MEAN
MOVING = ever changing
Add 'em both together and you have "moving average".
Your number of PERIODS is simply the number of candles in history that you wanna use for the calculation.
SMA is just mean or average, nothing more!
But each candle has 4 price points (open, high, low, close) so which of these price point do you want to use your calculation?
The default setting is applied to CLOSE.
Therefore your SMA (5) applied to CLOSE is simply the average of the closing price of the last FIVE candles.
When SMA (5) is placed on daily tf, it shows you the mean closing price of the last FIVE candles (not including the current running candle).
Same SMA (5) on weekly is the average closing price of the last 5 weekly candles.
Go and verify what I have explained above by placing SMA (5) on any time frame. Then find the AVERAGE (MEAN) of the closing price of the last 5 candles by adding all the closing prices and dividing the result by 5 .
What did you arrive at?
Apart from the the 4 price points mentioned above, the computation can be applied to the TYPICAL PRICE (H+L+C)/3 , the WEIGHTED CLOSE (H+L+C+C)/4 etc.
In conclusion, NO SMA setting works PERFECTLY for any pair. You as the trader are the one to determine your "lookback period" (how many candles in history you want to use for the calculation).
Statistically speaking, the larger the sample population, the more true - to - type the representation will be.
So ADR 14 will not give us an accurate figure for the Average Daily Range of a pair as much as ADR 260 will give.
Let's not make this too lengthy so that it doesn't become cumbersome to read through.
I do hope that the concept is now clear?
Very clear! Many thanks 1 Like |

Thanks for this! Appswheel: KPMG RECRUITMENT PROCESS - ALL THE INFORMATION YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Stage 1 – Assessment Test This involves GMAT multiple choice questions in mathematic (quantitative reasoning), English (Verbal aptitude) and current affairs. After test candidates will be required to write essay on given topics usually not less than 500 words. The KPMG Study Pack on Q and A App will help you in your preparations (Install Q and A App from Playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tolu.qanda)
Stage 2 – Business awareness At this stage, candidates are given sets of situational based test questions where they are asked what they will do when faced with certain situation. It is quite tricky as it is not timed and there are no right or wrong answers only best practice and morally correct options. An easy way of passing this to be familiar with the Company’s 7 core values and to apply them in each situation
The Values are 1. We lead by example. 2. We work together 3. We respect the individual 4. We seek the facts and provide insight 5. We are open and honest in our communication 6. We are committed to our communities 7. Above all, we act with integrity
Stage 3 - Assessment Centre Here candidate faces a panel of interviewers and are given 3 tasks 1. One (1) minute presentation on given topics. Candidates who fail to impress or that are incoherent may be disallowed from proceeding at this stage 2. Group exercise: candidates are put in groups and are given a situational puzzle to decipher. Each team member is given different clues that can be read out but not passed around. All of them are to solve the task in about 10 to 20 minutes. Contributions from all members are very important; no right or wrong answers too but how they are able to work as a team.
3. One-on-one interview: candidates are asked series of questions to test their competence and integrity. Questions like teams they have worked, impact they have made in school or during service etc.
Stage 4 – Documentation Candidates will be required to submit copies of their credentials for verification to prevent falsification of documents. Candidates who might have taken the test before are also screen and disqualified.
Stage 5 – Partner’s interview These comes in various ways and styles but most times a “STAR” interview approach is taken. Candidates are asked questions and they are expected to answer with relevant Situation they have experienced, how that applies to the
Task (question asked), Action(s) they took and the Result thereafter. S – Situation T – Task A – Action R - Result
Stage 6 – Medicals Successful candidates are then required to medicals test before resuming. No one is dropped at this stage just work ethics for safety reasons

Zee400: I beg to disagree with the last post.. with due respect to those with first class, I want to emphasize that grade itself is not an automatic pass to get any job. Yes there might have been some form of nepotism or not, who knows What if they flopped their interviews Story of my life, i and a friend got through for an interview, I had a better grade but she was taken. Both in the same interview room I could see the passion on her face while she conversed with the interviewer, I had previously crammed something's from Google, was so nervous, long story short, she knew her onions and sold herself better. Study hard, pass your apptitude test and most importantly slay your interview and there's no stopping you. I wish everyone God's favour. With luv
