saintandsinnerz: You sound a bit jealous and childish! Did the Igbos prevent the Yoruba youths from having their own business? It isPeople like you who have not left their enclaves talk the way you are talking. I grew up in Enugu and I can tell you there are many Yoruba people doing different types of business there. In fact the traditional herbs section in New market in Enugu is dominated by the Yorubas. some Igbos are also in the business but the business is largely dominated by the Yorubas and do you know what? The chairperson of the Union is a Yoruba woman. Nobody disturbs and disrespects her because she is Yoruba. Please you all should stop all these tribal hatred because before you know it, it will start affecting your relationship with people offline i actually understand your perspectical view of the issue,i have many igbo boys as my friends and we get along so well...we realy dont talk about tribal issue and when we do we just seem to joke over it....but the problem is igbos on social media.....u talk about yorubas working in enugu state but state a day you ever saw heard them claiming the state belong to know one............the funny thing was even when one igbo state gov was claiming lagos is a no mans land, can america be decleared a no mans land? just because you have africans, canadian and the latinos living thier?........that just whr the stupidity arises...hope i replied you well..Thanks |

Taich: Seriously the amount of hate on nairaland is becoming alarming. Yesterday Fashola was asked about sending people back to their states and he answered quite convincingly why he did that, from his explanation u will see that he did what he did not because of hate. I think this Igbo vs Yoruba fights online needs to stop. Please our fault lines are getting wider, and is been widen by the victims of bad governance(youths) like the two E-lords above ,"representing" their tribes. But I tell u that u are sowing the seed of hate and that seed will grow, and when it does grow into a big tree, u can simply cut it down. The hate u preach online is going to consume u. Cos u must reap what u sow. you know sometimes am forced to think it hate that will grow and turn to disaster later but realy to be sincere igbos are just very arrogant they believe they are helping you by doing business in your state and it not that the busines create employment for the yoruba youth because most of thier businesses are dominated by thier youth in which they bring from village to come establish thiers in future...bunch of ungrateful idiots. |

Tallesty1: A married woman was caught in the act here on Friday. It happened right in her husbands house so neighbours were there to witness what happened. I was there too to witness the taboo cause her husband was just shouting that whoever was around should come and witness a taboo.
Sha, that is not why I am writing this post.
What actually necessitated this post was a convo I had with a man on my way back.
Man: It is stuffs like this that makes me appreciate where I come from.
Me: Huh
Man: I appreciate my village the more anytime I hear or witness something like this because married women don't cheat on their husband in my place.
Me: How is that possible?
Man: They Know what would happen to them if they dare cheat on their husband.
Me: What will happen to them.
Man: If a married woman sleeps with another man, or collects money from another man, or spends her husband's money on another man without telling her husband, she will run mad.
Me: And if a man sleeps with another woman?
Man: Nothing, except the woman has a husband.
What he's saying in essence is that a married woman who sleeps with a man that is not her husband or collects money from a man who is not her relation or spends money on another man without informing her husband will lose her sanity. The madness is curable but she must confess her sins to regain her sanity.
So Nairalanders, what do you think of this people's tradition?
BTW, the man is from one village at obollo. are you actually stupid or you are just to dumb to kno that a mad person cant confess voluntary..habaa |

eme40rald: Hello nairalanders
It is with sadness and hurt that I decided to ask guidance on what action I should take with regards to the event that happened in my life.
I met a guy two years ago and fell in love with him wholeheartedly in fact he is my first love. the relationship was fun and romantic. I lost my innocence to him. Although there were times I had suspicions and I would confront him about it but he always found a way to clear my suspicions. One issue I always felt bad about was that he never took me to his family. As at the beginning of the relationship about a month into it his sister got married and I was not invited I felt maybe it was too early and shrugged it off. he never used my pictures as dp claiming he doesn't feel its proper until we are married. apart from all these he was a sweet and loving man. we were like best friends.
Fast forward to two years later I did something I had never done before. I searched his phone while he was asleep and what I discovered was a blow for me. He was in another relationship!!! I stole the girl's contact and disguised as his colleague just to get information from her with time she was free with me. I discovered they had been dating for seven years and she lived in another state. just last week he said he was travelling for a business event only for me to find out he went for his introduction to her family.
confronted him and he has been begging me to forgive him.
Kind hearted nairalanders please what do I do? should I expose him to the girl or not. they two things involved it either you ...pack your senses rit and run away from him for life or also treat is 4kup by telling his babe...........but na with 4kup one me i for choose oo.. |
