Ikengawo, (Dumber) shocked

So you still believe Governments are not responsible for creating jobs and reducing unemployment?

The Government has a responsibility to reduce unemployment and manage the economy.

Its not just about stealing for your imediate and then extended family.

The Government is responsible for managing the economy - High unemployment is a sign of failed government policies.

When they fail to carry out their duties civil unrest always follows and people call for change.

The Government is meant to be elected by civilians to serve the public's interest - Which includes job creation.

They are meant to provide an environment which encourages foreign investment - this wont happen unless they provide basic infrastructure such as electricity and good roads.

Going back to the original topic, the withdrawal of ATM's around Nigeria is a backward step in terms of efficiency and productivity within the banking sector.

Technology is meant to be used to make organisations more productive as well as make things easier for people.

Any politician that doesn't feel he has a duty to the public should not be there.

This ROSSIKE self,

I underestimated how backward you actually are.

According to ROSSIKE:

"A full 90% (or more) of monies siphoned illegally out of Africa is done by foreign multinationals. It's not commonly reported on the channels you hold dear like CNN and co, but, the monies stolen by corrupt local rulers is probably less than 5% in total of what's taken out of Africa yearly"

- According to ROSSIKE our leaders are only responsible for 5% of the money stolen from Nigeria!

"First of all Nigeria is NOT failing. In all indices or basic indicators from independence to date, we have seen improvement across ALL sectors, from infant mortality rates, to maternal mortality, to nutrition, to infrastructure, to education. The economy is growing at 7% annually showing great promise for the future. Today we have the largest black middle class in the world numbering 50 million"

- According to ROSSIKE - Nigeria is making positive progress and showing great promise for the future!

"So count your lucky stars you were born under black Nigerian rule, which has given you, and many like you, unprecedented opportunities for self-development. It was ten times worse under British rule. Go tell that to the next white RoosterDrinker who gives you a ''failed states index''"

- According to ROSSIKE - Nigerians are enjoying unprecedented opportunities!

ROSSIKE - Your views are shocking and offensive!!

Your deranged - YOUR BRAIN IS IN A FAILED STATE - ITS NOT JUST NIGERIA!!!

You know nothing about Nigeria!!!

But please, go and measure your IQ and I'm sure you'll find out it only has 2 digits neither containing a 9!

Also feel free to conduct your own research and then report back with your findings.

Please,

Your free to put your complete trust in the UN.

However I would suggest you question some of your believes from time to time.

Who set up the UN and for what reason?

I trust the data that has been published in this thread.

As you've noted it was published by a private orgainsation, with private funds and with no political agenda.

Please,

I dont know what fool attributed Nigeria's present day problems to the white man (ROSSIKE).

I/We all rely on information the so called white man publishes. We are also able to guage what is true and what is lies.

When a backward person (ROSSIKE) suggests you do not believe anything the white man says or publishes your meant to question their rationale.

That's all I have done,

If you have a list from a more credible source please provide it. We would all welcome it.

Your recent comments have highlighted that your slightly Backward.

"During his seven years as Katsina State governor, critics said contracts had gone to companies with links to his family's vast businesses"

"As a governor he was known to have ignored the advice of aides and bodyguards and walked alone to tobacco kiosks to buy a single cigarette"

According to the BBC - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/6187249.stm

President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua became the first civilian leader in Nigeria to take over from another after winning controversial polls in 2007.

The former chemistry teacher is also the first Nigerian leader for 40 years to be university educated.

But his academic background appears to have done little to help him on the political stage and mid-way through his first term in office, he was saddled with the nickname "Baba-go-slow".

A reclusive Muslim ex-governor from the northern state of Katsina, he promised a long list of reforms at his inauguration - tackling corruption, reforming the inadequate power sector and the flawed electoral system.

The only point on the to-do list on which he has made some progress is tackling the unrest in the oil-rich Niger Delta.

He met militant leaders and convinced them and thousands of their fighters to give up their weapons during a three-month amnesty in 2009, giving hope of peace at last for the poverty-stricken region
